Back to 163.4 and I don't like it, but I did it to myself. I stuff things in my mouth each time I walk through the kitchen.

New incentive to drop a few.......trip to Key West, FL at the end of February!
Now, let's see if I can accomplish anything.

You said it Jeanie! A break from freezing weather is what we are looking for. Flying into Ft. Lauderdale and driving through the Keys. So excited! I have to pull out my summer clothes to see how they fit. And maybe that will motivate me to drop a little on the scale. I have not been focused on making the proper choices of food consumption.

Sitting and drinking coffee. Yearly gyn appt. today - Oh Joy! Just what I want to do - NOT! Going to snow tomorrow - starting late in the day. Blah!

On the weight/scale front - back to 163.4 - here I go again. I'm really tired of doing this, so I guess I'll put on my big girl pants and get the scale going in the right direction.

Waiting for snow to begin.......also waiting for Spring to roll in

I was in control yesterday with food choices. Made Linda's Tilapia Fromage for dinner with roasted veggies. Also made some chocolate fat bombs for snacking.
Those fat bombs kept me sane! Trying to get back to being faithful to LC .
And I must add: L-Glutamine is a definite appetite controller for me .

Cold, frigid temps with snow on the ground. I don't like it!

January has been an epic fail for weight loss. One day I'm good, the next day I'm bad. I think my brain is frozen. Just can't get in the groove to do the right thing. Pity party for me .

Just had an "Aha Moment" ..............my fat is FROZEN........that's why I weigh so much !!!

Seriously, I need to get back to taking care of myself. Why do we, as women, continue to be the caretakers of everyone else and not ourselves?

Yes Susan!! And it helps me to read, & listen to anything I can to remind myself why LC is so good for us! Gary Taubes is my hero! (and the likes of him...)

This is a short book, I enjoyed to sort of give me a mental boost... I read it on Kindle...

I added that book to my "wishlist" ! I've already got so many books to read on my Kindle - nutrition, LC recipe, diet, historical fiction - so I keep the interesting ones on my wishlist to go back to later. Book Worm!

I made a roast pork butt yesterday with a dry rub. DH had his on a bun & added BBQ Sauce and potato salad. I ate a big pile of the meat only! Got through the evening by nibbling more pork and eating some peanuts in the shell.

Finally found some Kerrygold butter at the local health food store. Supposed to be the Holy Grail of butter. Also picked up some Chia seeds, dark chocolate, coconut oil. I ran out of coconut oil this past week and REALLY missed it! I like to swallow a spoonful throughout the day and when it wasn't there..........I was like OH! NO! ............... I WANT some CO! It's my new obsession I guess .

I have had a few off plan snacks last 2 days. House is full of LC food...... I need to just quit !!

Do you have a Costco ? We just switched over to there from Sam's and they have CO, chia, flax,etc.... mine's an hour away .

Weight the same. This will be a meat/egg week. I would like to see a scale change in the downward direction before February rolls in and keep it going that way. I am happy that January is coming to a close! Brrrrrrr!

Laura - Our Costco is 45 minutes away, but we do have BJ's very close by. I haven't been there in a very long time though. Guess I should venture in to see what they have to offer .

Disappointed - after 2 days of clean eating, my weight remains the same - 164.
I will continue to be good......and have a positive frame of mind .

January 2012 - 166
January 2013 - 147
January 2014 - 164

Is it going to take a year for me to lose anything?

I certainly hope so Becky! 164 again today ! I have consumed only legal foods! Mostly meat! I guess I'm eating too many calories from the meat.
Staying at 20 carbs or lower. I thought after 3 days, I would see some fluctuation on the scale . But nothing. It's depressing, but I can't give up trying!

BTW - 5 inches of snow on the ground again.............

Nothing has changed. What will it take for me to lose? Starvation? One more day in January. It's been a very bad, disappointing month for me. 164 still....
shall I flip the switch and go the vegetarian route.....hmmmmmmm.......something has to work..........

I am trying to consume more water, but it's a task I don't like. I probably get in 64 oz a day of fluids and that includes my coffee.

I hear you about water. I try drinking mineral water like Pellegrino or adding a squeeze of lemon or lime to still water to make it more palatable. I hope you are get a big whoosh of weight loss very soon. Sending good vibes you way!

162.4 on this last day of January! My WHOOSH came true! I am happy to say "good-bye" to January and "hello" to a more fabulous February !

It will be a joyous day when I get back into the 150's whenever that may be. I will continue to choose wisely when my hand goes to my mouth with nourishment!

We should see a big melt on Sunday....expected high of 50 degrees!
But more yucky weather after that .
