Hi Sicca! How are you? I need to get back to your journal! LOL....Michael Bolton was at it again last night, but my DH quickly muted him as I screamed for him to "GO AWAY!"

Gail - we got enough snow to close the schools. It doesn't take much - we are such babies in Maryland! The wind it crazy! Very COLD!!!!! Visions of green grass and tulips are dancing in my head ! Stay warm and cozy with a cup of tea! Have you seen those "Buddha Bowls" for hot drinks or soup? I want! You can cradle your hands and thumbs around it's huge bowl to drink a warm something!

Oooops! Almost forgot: 162.2 - not a huge difference from yesterday but I'll take it!

OMG this morning a micheal bolton commercial came on!! I jinxed myself..... DH changed the channel thankfully!!

Keep it up, this is a HARD time to lose and you're making it happen. Way to go!!! You back to watching the little ones again?

161.4 Hopefully, I'll be back in the 150's soon! Need to get back to my siggy weight stats and then concentrate on decreasing that number. Remaining focused on my food choices. And I really think the L-Glutamine is helping to knock down the appetite or it may be the coconut oil consumption. Really need to get some keto-strips.

160.8 Moving slowly down and my appetite is in control! My DH offered me one of the last 2 chocolate covered toffee candies last night. I said to him "Oh no! That would set me into tailspin!" - so happy with myself!

Thanks Sicca and Laura! No decrease today - 160.8 again . I love seeing a decrease no matter how small, so this number was a disappointment this morning. Good news is......I can tighten the band on my bra!

12 degrees / wind chill -9 degrees - GO AWAY POLAR VORTEX !!!

Weight still the same and it is still cold.......but isn't most of the U.S. frozen!?! Starting to get "Cabin Fever".

Wow! It's a balmy 32 degrees this morning instead of 12! Next week should be a BIG warm up into the 50's . That will be nice!

Weight is 160.4. Not what I want to see, but I'm working on it ! Made turkey tenderloin rolls, stuffed with spinach, feta, parmesan, cream cheese, butter, onion . Yum! Yum!

Hello!!! Glad it's warming up where you are....I live in Vermont so we're used to it being 10 degrees or less in January.

Hey your scale is down a little today!! Slow and steady, even a little loss is still a loss, and even NO loss is still NOT A GAIN. Just keep at it, a whoosh is coming your way soon. Persistence pays off!!!

Welcome Back Gail! Thanks - it's slow going with the weight....but I'll keep plugging away. 160.4 again today...I need to add more salad to my dinners and less protein...wish I could get outside too . Maybe next week....temps are expected to rise .

Yes it is going to get much warmer over the weekend -- well into the 50s temperature wise. I find that if I eat one cup of dark leafy greens that always helps my weight loss. Good luck! You are on the right track!

No internet access yesterday. But it was warm and sunny and I spent the day outside raking wet leaves. I was very content in my happy zone. Also put alot of Christmas decorations away. Have been eating so many wrong, wrong things but I'm holding my weight at 161. I will get back to proper eating habits today. Just a blip in the routine - back at it today!

Crap! I was in a foggy funk all day yesterday because I was wide awake at 3:00 am!

Didn't weigh and ate too much of bad, bad things. SO.....I am paying for it today and will try to reign in the beast and get my head back into healthy mode instead of into the "oh, that's so yummy, let's have some more" mode.
The rain all day yesterday did not help my mood either .

Feeling like I'll never get back to the weight I want to be. But I also realize that I've done this to myself. Why? Because it is so easy to stuff the wrong food choices in my mouth when I am are frustrated. And I am very frustrated right now.

I don't know why it's hard to get our "flip switched"...it's a mystery! But don't give up! One of these days it will flip for you...you'll be in the zone...maybe it's today?

It has to be a physical thing going on in our bodies...it's crazy!

Some days are harder than others...You just keep chugging along, take it one day at a time, and if you have a blip don't let it ruin the day. I did a no cheat challenge in November and it really helped me. I became more mindful of all the things I was sneaking down the hatch!! I swear for every bite of a non-legal food that I DIDN'T take was almost like another ounce lost.

Yes girls, I will be able to re-focus and get myself back "in gear" very soon. My source of frustration will be gone on Saturday. Let's just say the last two weeks have not been completely normal. It's funny how another person in the house can upset the apple cart.
