It was beautiful here today too! I took off my coat around noon and just enjoyed being out in the sun while we were shopping. When dh was putting groceries in the car's little 'fridge, I waited outside just to soak up some more rays. Ahhhhh....

¼ cup plant-based milk
½ tsp cinnamon
a dash of ground cardamon (optional)
1 tbsp raisins

and something else I found.. and ya know.. I have been having half a lemon every day in my water...

Lemons -- Hmmmm-- Who knew--
Trying this
Losing 5 pounds a week can be achieved if you do the following steps...

Homemade Weight Loss Drinks With Water, Lemon and Pepper

Relying on a weight-loss drink as your main source of calories carries substantial health risks. A popular "cleanse" diet based on a weight-loss lemonade made with cayenne pepper results in losing water weight and lean tissue, according to Harvard Medical School. Most people regain the weight as soon as they return to their usual eating habits. Using a weight-loss drink as part of a nutritious, reduced-calorie diet supports healthy weight loss. Preliminary studies suggest cayenne pepper may have thermogenic properties, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

LEMONADE

Step 1
Wash one lemon. Cut the lemon in half. Use a juicer or lemon squeezer or squeeze the lemon by hand into a cup and then pour it though a strainer to remove the seeds.

Step 2
Mix the lemon juice with 2 quarts of chilled, filtered or distilled water. Using water from any kind of water filter system is fine. Add your choice of sweetener, if desired. One popular weight-loss lemonade recipe calls for maple syrup, but there's no evidence that the type of sweetener has any effect on weight loss.

Step 3
Taste the lemonade. If it's too sour or acidic, add more water. If it isn't sweet enough, add sweetener. ( Stevia is best)

Step 4
Add a 1/2 tsp. of ground cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly. Taste the lemonade. Add more pepper if you can tolerate the spiciness.

Step 5
Keep leftover lemonade chilled. The strong flavors are less overwhelming when you keep it cold. Serve the weight-loss lemonade over ice between meals.

SMOOTHIE

Step 1
Wash a lemon. Squeeze half of the lemon into a measuring cup with a pour spout. Use a spoon to remove any seeds.

Step 2
Measure 1 cup of water, 1 scoop of protein powder, such as whey protein -- or 1/4 cup of the protein powder if it doesn't have a scoop -- and 1/2 cup of yogurt or kefir into a blender. Add a 1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice and 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen fruit and four to seven ice cubes. The protein along with the fiber from the fruit helps to satisfy your appetite with this weight-loss drink.

Step 3
Serve the weight-loss drink in a chilled glass. Use it for a convenient breakfast or lunch on the go. Consuming three serving of dairy each day can help you lose weight, according to a study published in the 2005 issue of the "Journal of the American College of Nutrition.

carbs are high again today..49.. protein..57..fats ..26 and calories..861 go figure ;/

well der... the carbs are not really that high.. because any fiber takes off carbs for net carbs.. and the flax seed I use to make the pumpkin cake I had, has 10.7 carbs ... fiber is also 10.7.. sooo and same with cabbage and pearl onions.,... some carbs go off because of fiber.. .. so I'm not sweatin it.. not that I was.. I'm eating good.... weigh in in the am.. wish me luck

menu for all inquiring minds..lol

Brekki,, 2 lc cheddar biscuits

L.. home made chick noodle soup.. home made broth.. chick.. tofu noodles.. pear onions.. brussels sprouts and zucchini

D.. same except I added cabbage to the soup for more substance.... so delish ya'll..

S.. lc pumpkin cake.. 2 die 4

ok nighty night !

CLEAN YOUR KIDNEYS

Years pass by and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt, poison and any unwanted entering our body. With time, the salt accumulates and this needs to undergo cleaning treatments and how are we going to overcome this?

It is very easy, first take a bunch of parsley or Cilantro ( Coriander Leaves ) and wash it clean
Then cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and pour in a clean bottle and keep it inside refrigerator to cool.

Drink one glass daily and you will notice all salt and other accumulated poison coming out of your kidney by urination also you will be able to notice the difference which you never felt before.

Minute Microwave Lasagna in a Mug

3 Tbsp pizza sauce (no-sugar added. I use store brands)
3 Tbsp cottage cheese or 2 Tbsp pesto
1/3 cup fresh spinach or greens
2 diced green olives
4 slices pepperoni
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Layer in pizza sauce. Top with pesto or cottage cheese. Add a layer of pizza/lasagna toppings. Add cheese. Press gently. Microwave on high (my microwave is 1000 watts) for one minute. Let cool slightly. Serve.

Makes 1 serving.

Share. Maybe.

Make extras ahead and refrigerate the rest for another day.

couldn't sleep . . . went to gym and did 10 min on elliptical and then did some back stretches.

Was hungry when i came home so I had a johnsonville brat. (No need to starve during the first days back on lowcarbing - don't want to sabotage myself by feeling deprived).

Ate too much yesterday over at Ms. Lisa's house. i made quite the little piggy of myself, but I was sooooo hungry! I know it's because I'm back to the lowcarb way and it's my bodies way of trying to make me eat addictive food stuff.

A bit tired this morning due to going to the gym first thing.

I realized something yesterday on my way back from the gym . . . some people are high maintenance needing all sorts of attention or all sorts of gadgets and stuff . . . well, although I don't think of myself as high maintenance in that regard, I DID discover that my body is high maintenance, meaning that I will always have to be diligent on how I feed it, how I exercise it, how I treat it.

With that said, day two in the gym! Day two of eating better! Day two of the rest of my life.

Had a wonderful day eating better yesterday. It just doesn't something to ur self esteem when u put forth the effort and come off victorious. Ok...well at least it does mine.

Had a cheddar biscuit
Hardboiled egg and cheese stick
Bourbon chicken and a can of green beans
Tuna salad
HUGE bowl of taco salad
Individual jello cup
