I should give it to you, because it would probably fit you better."

I come HERE to talk about weight loss! I don't try to have people notice me or talk about it all the time here. I've lost just 16 pounds (yes, I'm happy for every one of those!) but I don't talk about it anywhere but here. Now I get to listen to this gal, and our paths cross at least three times a week, since we attend three of the same things every week.

A very dear friend and I, once upon a time, were in WW together. She was losing faster than I was (everyone seems to!) and everywhere we went (and I mean EVERYWHERE!) she pulled out before and after photos of herself for strangers. At fast food restaurants, grocery stores, you name it. Then she became a WW instructor and borrowed back big clothes she had given me to show how big she used to be. I had to sit in her class and have her hold up the huge jeans she used to wear that were now mine. I felt awful.

I wish I could lose faster, but I've always lost pretty slow. Now with this one lady here losing weight, I'll have to have my nose rubbed in it every time I see her. She's nice enough, but not too bright.

I WANT other people to lose weight! I wouldn't wish obesity on anyone, honest! I just wish that weight loss wasn't the topic of conversation everywhere I go. Except here. Cuz that's what we're here for... to lose, to share, to encourage.

WAIT JUST ONE DOGGONE MINUTE!!! I think I found 2 and 1/2 of those pounds. You can just come here and get them!!!

That's what I get for going to the beach and not taking my own healthy food. We found a cheap (and icky) buffet, and there weren't any good choices.

Home again and eating clean. Last night was "raw tacos" made with ground pecans, zucchini, paprika, cumin and sea salt for the meat. Toppings were pico de gallo, jalapenos, avocado, lettuce and a little almond cheese. We had a huge yummy salad first. SO good!

BACON & TOMATO FRITTATA

1 carton (16 oz) cholesterol-free fat-free egg product
1/4 teaspoon salt-free garlic-and-herb seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vegetable oil 4 medium green onions, sliced
(1/4 cup) 2 large roma (plum) tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (2 oz)
2 tablespoons real bacon pieces (from 2.8-oz package)
2 tablespoons light sour cream.
STEP 1In medium bowl, mix egg product, garlic-and-herb seasoning and salt; set aside.
STEP 2In 10-inch nonstick ovenproof skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in egg mixture. Cook 6 to 9 minutes, gently lifting edges of cooked portions with spatula so that uncooked egg mixture can flow to bottom of skillet, until set.
STEP 3Set oven control to broil. Top frittata with tomatoes, cheese and bacon. Broil with top 4 inches from heat 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top each serving with sour cream.

A lovely big salad tonight with leftover raw vegan tacos. Yummers!

Tomorrow night we have friends coming over for dinner with us... steaks, salads and gorgeous (raw vegan) banana cream pie. It's been a long time since we've had steaks, but dh is apparently ready for one.

I weighed today... down three pounds. Whew! Praise God!

Hope everyone is having a great week-end. <3
