Ive always been over weight.

I spent most of my 20's and 30's between the weight of 295 and 325. Over the last 2-3 years I ballooned to over 385 pounds. I am now 39 years old.

I never really looked that big to me. I dont know why I was so clueless. I started low carbing and committed to some major life changes. I got down as low as 304 about 2 weeks ago.

I have a personal trainer and I lift weights and slow jog on the sand everyday for an hour. Its shrinking me fast ... and has almost no impact on my joints etc...

After loading and deciding to do my 2nd round of HCG I found my weight back up to 318.8# (I can gain 10 pounds easy in a day because im still 300#).

I just started VLCD yesterday and this morning I am 313.0 so I am down 5.8 pounds on day one. I think I will get under 300 in the next week.

This is the 2nd time I did HCG. The first time I did it completely wrong. My dr told me I could inject 300-350 IU a day, and I basically did a high fat atkins style diet. So I ate HIGH fats/low carbs the whole time. Now that I understand the concept and have read a lot more.

Since then I have changed my diet to be healthy fats, coconut oil, avocados, less meat..essentially eating very clean has been working wonders. I hate to interrupt such good habits to go VLCD / HCG..but I know how to do HCG now and will stick to dr seimons menu and plan to the letter.

This round I am committed to the plan 100%. I know with the help of some of the support groups in here I can stick to it properly and get some serious results.

I am posting in here mostly to document my progress..If i keep it on paper im sure ill lose it..lol

So thats my story. Id love support and Id love to make some new friends. Right Now I want to get under 285 so bad to hit 100 pounds gone !!! but getting into the 2-somethings is a much closer and exciting goal..I think within a week - 10 days I will be 200 something not 300 something. Thats kinda exciting !

:welcome: to you and congrats on your new journal!!! I've been on this site since April of this year and I can tell you that it really helps to have a journal as you progress with your weight loss journey. Plus you will make lots of friends and get tons of support in the process. :)

Ive not been under 300 in about 3-4 years... I got close 3 years ago... This is very exciting for me. I have a ways to go once I break 300...but Im approaching a big milestone...and at 285 I will be at 100 pounds gone...So I have 2 huge milestones coming in what I hope is the immediate future.

I really wanna break 300 by Monday/Tues, but Im sure next week regardless Im gonna own it..So trying not to pressure myself...... I cant believe i lost all the weight i gained loading this fast...excited !

Today is Low Calorie day #3. I have been hungry in the eve's around 8pm. Im wondering if thats because I take my injection at like 5 am when i get up.... No cheats so far :)

ravr--Hi there!!! You have done so well. I cannot believe you did a round of hcg prior to this one. I thought this was your first one. I am also shocked to hear your doc said to do high fat while doing the hcg. Not a good combo!! Sabotage from the start!! Stick with us and we will be with you all the way. And celebrate your getting under 300 next week. I am always amazed that the load weight comes off so quickly. It never ceases to fail me. I love this hcg protocol for the losses it brings. Even if I do complain about stalling out once in a while LOL.

If yuo are hungry in the evenings, can you save a fruit for that time? You don't have to eat only 2 meals. You may split up your food any way you want. BUT you have to make sure NOT to have 2 fruits (or 2 anything) at the same time. You can have your apple when you first wake up and a 1/2 grapefruit or some strawberries in the evening when you are hungriest. Your hunger should go away after the first few days or so. Your body is still adjusting to the hcg and running on different fuel. Good luck to you!!

I know, it is amazing !! I love hcg :love: so glad you find it amazing too. Usually the question we get a lot on the forum is "why didn't I try this sooner?" It works so well.

Do you inject? or do homeopathic? Im injecting..was going to ask where you inject..if you ever have? stomach or thigh?

I do not inject. I do the homeopathic. I didn't think I could do it when I started my first round so long ago. But now that my daughter has been diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic last year at the age of 10, I think I can handle those injections!! We have learned a lot about injecting since then. But the homeopathic works for me, so no need to switch.

ravr---maybe you are doing too much exercise LOL. It can make you retain water, therefore gain weight. This diet we are on is very unforgiving. Everything you do can effect it. I think you have made great progress!!! Good job!!! I know you will make your goal this week.

Ive been jogging everyday for 2 months, so I think my body is used to it.... :)
but I hear you on not over doing it... I think honestly the apple and bread stick are too much carbs for me... im over the top sensitive to carbs... i was going to have more vege and no bread. the apple gives me a sugar rush like you would not believe so does grapefruit...

Good!! Then keep up the jogging then. Didn't want you to overdo it there. LOL. I know that Dr S said you can omit anything you wish! So doing without the breadstick/melba is OK. And ditto on the fruit. Me--give me my fruit anytime. I cut out the veggies. I hate the ones on the list. I made radishes tonight and forced them down. I am guessing I have to get them in, so just bucking up and doing it!

I think the purple cabbage is OK. Not sure why it wouldn't be. And raw?? If you can hack it. Any way to get it down. I cannot do raw cabbage unless it is drowned in a cole slaw LOL.

Got dumped by GF kinda checked out... I stuck to program food wise..but added 2-3 days in a row of xanax and vodka :)

I messed up, ate bread for 4 months and gained 54 back... Im starting P2 tomorrow after 2 days of loading.... id really appreciate some dosing advice for injections... my dr has my on 300 iu but that seems high and im hungry..... any suggestions? I was thinking 150 iu tomorrow am as a test.... im 340 pounds now and dr said higher dose is ok...not what ive read....advice??

Good luck :high5: I don't know if 300 is too high (it seems to me to be high)--I don't use the Rx, but I am sure that on the thread I referenced above there are some good advice about how much you need. I know some are going as high as 250. So I would imagine it won't hurt you to do 300. It is a guessing game isn't it???! Maybe work your way up to the 300?

I will be following you, so don't slip away again ;) I am going out of town this weekend (Thurs thru Sun) with no guarantee of internet connection, so *I* won't be around, but I will catch up next week how you are doing.

Oh, and one other thing-----I hope you loaded. That WOULD make you more hungry. I would totally load with lots of fat to prepare for those VLCDs.
