Total agree, Carol. I really try to put positivity into the universe and every now and again I need to be reminded not to be negative. I am a worrier by nature (much to my DH's dismay! ) and I am trying to relinquish that and just learn more to go with the flow and trust. It's HARD!!
----------------

Quiet day yesterday. Almost too quiet. I found myself wanting to graze in the kitchen purely out of boredom. Had to work on keeping myself busy and staying out of the kitchen!

Free-Day-Friday.. I did well for the most part. Too much sodium I'm sure. Scale is up again but will hopefully be gone by end of the weekend.

Posted this on another thread, but leaving it here as a way to remind myself of what it is I am looking for.

This has been my attitude for the last couple months and it has served me well. This is summed up perfectly.

Love the image and the theme.. No wonder you are doing so well!!

I am a huge Law of Attraction believer! Don't know why it's so darn easy to fall into dwelling on what you don't have.. Or, dwelling on why you (I mean ME) doing the things you don't want to be doing.. etc. ugh!

Wish there were LIKE buttons here on LCF!!

Thanks Judy! It's almost as if there was a switch flipped in my head...I can't really explain it I know that I've truly set out for a total transformation and it seems to have affected everything for the better.

Amber, I'm carb cycling. I wish I could do JUDDD it certainly made things easy! No stalking Chris' house...I think I'd probably have to climb a gate or 2 No halloween candy here at all... I can't believe I haven't had 1 single piece--it's a Christmas miracle!
----------------------

Great food day yesterday. Just under 1200 cals. However, I did have some popcorn at the movies last night.... Ooooppsssssss! Saw Last Vegas--cute movie.

New low this morning. A small one, but a new one nonetheless

Football day today! I love having DH home to sit and watch the games w/ me. Gearing up for another busy week w/ the kiddo!

I want to see Last Vegas you know me I get to like one movie a year, LOL. We did rent Gatsby last weekend that was good! I can never stay awake!

I love the lifestyle that I've chosen. I get the best of both worlds and I think it's helping to keep me on track.
The scale fluctuations don't necessarily bother me, it's turned into more of a game to me LOL I can pretty much tell where my lowest day will be on the scale so it's fun to see if it holds true week after week.
I loved Gatsby---I went & saw it for free by myself and had the best time.
----------------------------
Ok food day yesterday. I went over calories by a couple hundred. I miscalculated and by the time I realized it, it was too late.. ah well, today's a new day and last night's football was awesome---Colts beat the Texans! LC day today! Get my eggs & cheese today..Yesssssss!!!

DH is off today..I think we're gonna go look at furniture...Not sure what I'm lookin for but I guess I'll know it when I see it!

Monica, makes my head spin too!! Not thrilled about having to go...

Melanie, looking at living room stuff... this should be very very interesting because DH & I have very different tastes

someone check on me later--if I'm not around I'm either dead from an aneurism over dealing w/ DH and convincing him about something...or I'm in jail because I've just offed him and bought what I want!

Have fun furniture shopping! I know you can compromise on the perfect stuff. Remember too that you can accessorize just about anything to you own taste.

I'm so proud of your no-Halloween Candy conviction (you too, Amber!!) I did have a couple of "one bite' mini's on my UD the next day but that's it. I feel fortunate that candy isn't my thing...I can't keep chips in the house, chips are definitely my thing.

DO you have MOR furniture in AZ? They have a great 'clearance" dept, you can get some really nice things for a song.

It's certainly a first for me to skip halloween candy...years past, somehow, some way, I'd have found a way to skirt around it and had some (a ton)...I'm proud of myself for being able to see this through.

Matter a fact, we do have a MOR store here...literally about 2 blocks from us I think the hubbs has plans to go there on a long list of places to see..

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo kidding!!!!!!!

Luckily the space isn't all that big so not entirely too much to shop for.. Oh, and yeah, he'll let me choose all the accessories, etc..but the big pieces he's most definitely gonna try and be in charge. I may have to implement the womanly Jedi mind-trick to make him *think* he's making the decisions..

Thanks for sharing! I am a worrier & tend to "dwell" on things too much -- especially whether something bad could happen. I didn't really realize I do this as much as I do until this last year. Going to work on it!

You're still doing great over here. So proud of you, Danielle!

Amber, we did find what we needed. Nothing fancy or super super spendy, just something to serve it's purpose..when the kids are all out, then, I'll get what I truly want.

Good food day yesterday. I hit my calories dead-on, I don't think I could do that again if I tried. LOL My water was weak since we were gone primarily all day long...so today will have to make up for that!

I believe TOM is starting again? I just had it? KInda confused, this has never happened to me. Ever.

Carol, the furniture buying was anti-climatic...tough when you're still trying to "kid-proof" stuff when they're teenagers For whatever reason, my 17yo is BRUTAL on stuff..it's insane..

Melanie,....nooooooo joke, such a drag! I just hope I'm ok, I've never had this happen before.. kinda freaked me out!

Hey D- You're doing great! I love that you love your plan -- that's such an important part of the whole process. I also love my low carb WOE but sometimes I feel like the entire world is trying to sabotage me. Hmm, what's on this menu... ? oh, carbs with a side of carbs, in carb sauce!

My TOM goes a little wonky when I'm losing weight, maybe something to do with hormones? I would just keep an eye on it and don't worry too much yet.

Hope you're having a great week so far!

I'm sure you're okay D. TOM has been anything but predictable for several months for me. For a few months it was coming every 3 weeks, and now it's been 9 weeks. I admit I don't mind not having it! But it could surprise me with a vengeance at any time.

I agree, weight loss (and gain for that matter) always affects my cycles. Not to mention.....the age thing. Ugh.

Mornin' D~ I'm so glad you got furniture without tears or knives (lol). I hate to tell you this Darlin', but when the kids are grown the grand kids are still brutal on the furniture...my husband has been saying "We can't have anything nice" for almost 40 years.....

Oh Girl!! Congrats on the new low!

I'm still sniffling and blowing...stayed home again today. This is not something you can share with restaurant patrons...they don't like it.

Hope your day is fab-tastic.....

Hey Bren! I do love my plan. So much so, that sometimes I think, how did I get so lucky. I truly feel at home with this lifestyle and am thankful every day that the scale continues to agree with me.
Not sure what to think about TOM....it very well could be hormonal..for DH that would explain alot

Well, I have had the "missing period" several times in the last couple years.. and late weeks...but this is a whole new experience. I cannot wait to not have "it" anymore...I mean, really, I haven't *needed* it for nearly 20 years Getting old definitely sucks rocks!

I did see that!! Jaqui has done amazingly well with weight loss...she even lived w/ Chris and his family for awhile to serve as an assistant for the 2 of them for a little bit.. Darnit, I forgot to pick it up when I was at the store this morning! Thanks for the reminder!

Oh I know the grandkids thing will be an issue eventually...but for a few years I'd like to have my home to myself.. perhaps wishful thinking! At this rate tho, we may never have any g'kids.. I don't think either of my girls want kids..so it's up to dear ole sonny boy

Thanks for the well wishes, I am becoming slowly excited at the prospect that this is indeed the lifestyle for me.

Relieved that you're feeling somewhat better even though you're still sniffling

Came in on target for calories yesterday -- 1542...a tad over but the rice at dinner was worth it

Scale moving along nicely.

I'd planned to get out for a walk this morning while it was quiet around here but then quickly realized that I totally forgot the furniture was coming today.. whoops.. Ya know how they give ya that lovely "window" of time...yeah, my luck they'll come the last hour of that window Unfortunately this morning was my only bit of free time soooooo guess I'll have to figure out something else to make sure I get some movement in. Maybe I'll "run" my stairs here... I dunno.
