How was your gourmet movie experience? I went to one of those places a while back for the first time and it was a treat. Let me know what you thought about it.

It was fun. I didn't complain, heck it was free! I'm not sure that I'd pay for all that though. The food we had was great, and the theater was nice...I dunno...just not my scene I guess? Alittle too pretentious, maybe?

Love this weather! Now, if the sun could just stay hidden a little I'd really be happy! It's nice to be able to open windows and feel cool air.

DS is coming home today for a Nascar race with his old boss and a friend. It was a nice surprise to find out he was coming home! Miss that kid!!

Movie was AMAZING!! I think we're going to see it again tonight. Bigger screen.

So I tried something different and ate most of my calories at dinner time (350). Not sure I liked it that way or not? I didn't get hungry at all til around 2 and ate around 150 cal and then didn't get hungry again til around 7. Ended up not eating dinner til after 8. Maybe it was too late to eat, maybe that's what I didn't like? Gonna have to think about this one.

Finding that my hunger is lessening on DD's and I'm not starved anymore. What a relief!

D - we are so similar. My DH and I are heading out for an ALONE weekend before Christmas too! We aren't going to Vegas (way too far for us) but we are going to a winery town and are taking in the taste of the season weekend. Just the 2 of us. It was our Christmas gift to each other....we even splurged for the really NICE hotel room!

Silver Lining Playbook....never heard of it! Trying to get back to see SkyFall again this week, we didn't get to go the 2nd time like we'd wanted! However, I have the Twilight marathon this Thurs & will probably see the new one AGAIN on Sat with DD16 since she's missing the marathon. Vegas.....is gonna rock

Yay for adult vacations! We never did anything while our kids were little, no joke. Now they're nearly all grown and we're actin like teenagers The winery sounds lovely.....I wish I liked wine! Enjoy the nice room, it will feel so luxurious! DD actually went well, I saved myself!

DD was saved. I realized I hadn't done as badly as I'd feared. Luckily, I didn't find myself hungry in the evening so the calories all worked out despite the 2 little cookies I ate However, I will not be eating that horribly again, it's not worth it..

UD today. Lots to get done. The chocolate chip cookies are leaving today thank goodness!

Getting menu set for turkey day. I cannot believe another year has flown by so fast!! It was this time last year that I was in the middle of trying to finish a semester of school AND move!!!!! Time flies! This year so far has been AMAZING!

Thanksgiving will be very low key.. just DH, myself, and the girls. DS isn't going to be here.... he and his roommates are planning turkey day at their apt. Of course I haven't said a word, just crying silently into my cheerios!

Planning traditional dinner with a few lower carb things as well.. trying to balance so I can enjoy my food and not break the barrier on calories

I can't believe I sat in a movie theater for 12+ hours!!!! After the first one, New Moon and Eclipse sorta just zoomed by.. was thankful that Part 2 was at 10 and not midnight!

LONG day yesterday that started at 5:30am and a trip to Starbucks. All day movie-food and fast-food. I am so ready for a DD today! I did control my intake yesterday tho and stay "present" while I was eating and paying attention to how I was feeling. I was proud that I was able to keep myself in check and calories were under control. I didn't want an UUAD so I made sure to keep track. Fingers are a little puffy today...too much soda.

Alrighty, off to an Asian history exam... and then a nap!

...funny thing tonight..

took DD to the grocery with me for dinner stuff and she was picking out candy for the movie tomorrow afternoon... I decided since it's an UD tomorrow that I'd bring something fun to have too.... well, there I stood for 20 minutes and couldn't figure out what I wanted.... nothing sounded even remotely interesting
