Anxious to hear about Flight that looks good! I want to see the new Bond movie I think that comes out this month, told Tony we need a date night!

Hi Danielle,

WOW you are rocking it!! Great job with the pounds lost. Sounds like this is the ticket for you.

How was the movie? Looking forward to your review.

Have a great weekend doing your thang (lots of homework I suppose )!

I was terrified of the 500 calories idea, but surprisingly it has been awesome. I absolutely love the way strict lc works for me but the scale doesn't budge Just relieved the scale is going back down! At 232 will be the real test, I'll enter into VWL then.

Flight was amazing. Denzel was amazing. DH won tickets for opening night of Skyfall... its at a really cool theater that includes dinner & drinks! We've been wanting to go check it out, so now we can for free. This movie looks to be probably the best one yet, I can't wait to see it!

Thanks Jenna! Pounds are moving, praying I can keep it up! It's been a very interesting week to say the least. I've had alot of fun with it!

Movie was great. Hard to believe it was made on only $30mill... it's playing in 4 theaters at the theater we love...and by the looks of things, every one of 'em was full! Go Denzel!!

Scale: 237.0

Ended the day about 100 calories over.. I *had* to have some grapevines at the movies last night. SO good!!!

Such an incredibly odd feeling to wake up after a DD and not be starving. Never in a million years did I ever think I could do this! I do need to get creative some more with DD meals...I enjoy my shakes for a meal, but find I really need to crunch and chew. Thank goodness there are lots of ideas on this site. I just need to be able to find the time to spend reading.

At any rate, it has been a great start to my first week on JUDDD. I started last Sunday at 243.5. Nov.
1 I was at 240. I set a 5# goal for November, and right now I am 2 pounds away from that already. I guess I need to make another one?

UD today!

We ate dinner WAY too late last night. I knew I was going to be up on the scale. Hopefully after a good down day it'll be gone.

Football-watchin day today.

I can't believe this weekend is over already!

DD weigh-ins are usually the most fun for me. I'm sure that number will be down for you after you've had your DD!

Quick post today. Gotta run out for errands this morning.

Scale: 238.0

Had an ok DD. I was REALLY hungry all day. My UD the day before ended up falling short about 600 calories and we ate so late.. wonder if that's why the gain? Is it really uber important to hit that UD number. Need to research. Maybe I should've made yesterday a MD instead of a DD?

Anywho, feeling good and glad the scale moved down some.

Love the feeling of not starving the morning after a DD.

Thanks Monica and Lisa for stoppin by

BBL for journals.

D- I am sure lacking 600c on your previous UD is what made your DD tough! enjoy those UD calories, HECK, it's what I live for!!!!!!

Hi Danielle, how was the rest of your day? Get those pesky errands completed? Happy Monday!

It's interesting, I don't know a lot about JUDDD but it seems to me that most people have to make a lot of adjustments and throw in MDs here and there. I'll look forward to reading more about your experiences. Who knows, maybe I'll give it a try!

Have a great night, friend. Talk to you soon!

Hugs, Jenna

Jenna~ I, personally, only plan to use MD's to flip a rotation. Thanksgiving happens to fall on a DD for me..well, I know myself enough to know *THAT* ain't gonna happen so I'll just use an MD to flip my days around.

While I don't anticipate the weight is gonna come off at record pace, it WILL come off. Besides, I already lose at a snail's pace so might as well not feel stressed

Monica~ yeppers, I'm figuring my shortage of such a huge amount of calories is prolly what did me in.

....and with that, I have hit my UD calories nearly dang perfect...and YES, I have enjoyed Every. Single. Moment..

Hey Blonde!

Scale: 239.0

...dancing......dancing....

Calories were good, but I think too much sodium. More water today!

Feeling really good. Sleep has been great.

Something I noticed? I have this very small patch of weirdness behind my ear that I think is either ezcema or psoariasis.. it's about the size of a pencil eraser.. it would not go away with cortizone, or lotions, or nuthin....when I started eating strict low carb I thought, oh this will take care of it...nope.. well dontcha know that since I started JUDDD'ing that stupid little patch has all but disappeared! No joke! I wonder why? I'm not complaining tho!

DD today. I'm ready for it.

I am STILL in awe over the funniness of waking up after a DD and NOT feeling starved and going to bed on an UD READY for a DD.

Plodding along!

Time to go get ready to head out to vote!

Interesting about your patch o' weirdness. I wonder if it has something to do with inflammation/insulin? Whatever the situation, I'm glad it's gone! Congrats on your new weight, too!

Yes, the patcho o' weirdness is a mystery for sure. I never bothered with the doctor because it was so small... I always figured that strict lc would "fix it" but it never would go away.. just glad its going away!

I was surprised to see a low today on the scale...had a late night staying up watching all the presidential coverage then was wide awake at around 6am..

Thank ya honey! Yep, enjoying it for today cause I'm sure it'll bounce somewhere tomorrow

Now, why couldn't it just KEEP bouncing DOWN

Finally watched an episode of Dr. Oz today...the one with Chris Powell from Extreme Weight Loss...was talking about carb-cycling. Interesting idea. Hmm, who knows, if this ends up not working for me maybe I'll try it? Only thing I didn't agree on was he kept saying "no" carbs... Um, buddy, I'm pretty sure there's carbs in that pb, and those veggies you're saying we can have as much of.. Will look for his book, I'm intrigued.

So far so good today. Food's on track and I've had about 90oz of water already...just about 40 more to go

Hunger is kinda hiding today. Funny how I have all these calories to play with and I am not devouring them. Progress!!

Hey Danielle! How are you getting those incredible amounts of water in? That's one thing I always have trouble with. For a while I used Crystal Light packets, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Between coffee, hot tea, and water, I'm lucky to get 80 oz in!

Have a fantastic day, and keep up the good work!

Morning is going too fast! I need time to slow down just a bit so I can get everything in that I need to. Wishful thinking, I know! I love when I get all the cleaning done at once, oh it feels so so good! Good for you!

The water thing has been a 20 year habit for me. When I got pregnant with my first I CRAVED ice cold water 24/7. Each pregnancy was the same (my kids are 2 yrs apart).. and from there it just turned into a habit. I love water. Also, I live in H3!! where it's 110 more days than it's 75 so the heat does help consume more water. I feel lucky that I like it so much, I was surprised to realize that alot of people can't drink it. So weird to me
