Helllloooooo ladies! I hope you all have a beautiful day!

Monica~ I just started the latest Evanovich book in the Plum series. I have a little stack of books going on right now, I'm a hoarder I recently just finished a Jen Lancaster book and a JR Ward. I havent read YA in a long long time so I am waayyy out of the loop there.
----------------------

Yesterday I'm calling a success. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't bad either. A little higher on the carb count than I wanted but it went well. I can already feel myself feeling better with the limitation..so I'm excited to be back on my game completely once I eliminate the rest starting today..

Tried making the CO chocolate bark. ICK. There wasn't enough sweetener in it and it was way too bitter.. blech! I'll attempt again if I can figure out how to get it palatable.

Back on the supps today.. preparing to feel icky again.

It feels good to be in control again!

And you used the virgin coconut oil? I wonder if you could add a splenda or something?

Melanie, I did add truvia to it..I ended up having to add some more and it still tasted bitter.. thinking maybe I added too much of the cocoa, not sure... I'll have to try it again.. I really want to like this stuff!

I haven't tried the bark but I tried a fat bomb and mine was bitter too. But the chocolate I used was SUPER bitter and the splenda didn't even come close to cutting that bitterness. I disliked it and threw away a whole pan full of fat bombs. Well, after eating a few and realizing they didn't cut my hunger in any way. My body seems to love eating fat.

How's it going today? Are you feeling better?

Ohhh, I haven't tried fat bombs yet. Sad to hear those are bitter too. Wondering if using like a baking chocolate bar would be different? All of this stuff sounds sooo yummy, I'm a bit jealous that so many people like it!

So ready for the weekend!

DD16 home sick today. She's got something funky going on with her stomach and not sure what it is exactly. I'm thinking perhaps she is gluten intolerant. I do know she was having some major reflux for awhile and seems to be fine for awhile and then she has these flairs.. definitely stressful!

Weekend will be busy.. trying to catch up on last minute big cleaning before the heat ramps up..which is any second it seems.. argh, I hate hot!
Sunday doing some shopping and celebrating our anniversary. The kiddos are working all weekend so mom's taxi will be in full effect.. I complain now, but in a couple years I'll be crying how much I miss it all!

Had a great food day yesterday.. and what a better way to end it than with some Chipotle for dinner Scale is still up which does not make me happy..but what can ya do.. just glad I'm feeling better. Had a full day of supplements yesterday and today more of the same. Amazing what a difference eating lc and the supps makes in how I feel so quickly!

I'm glad you are on the right track!! Happy early anniversary!

I used baking chocolate - like 90% cocoa and it was bitter. I think using cocoa powder is less bitter. Maybe a 70% bar would be better, but it would also increase the carbs and sugar. I'm with you, I get jealous of people who enjoy this stuff. It doesn't work for me. But cheesecake does.

Thanks Amber

I'm going to try and up the truvia alittle bit, and lower the cocoa a tad...the sweetener was like an 1/8 tsp...compared to all that oil and cocoa..so we'll see.. Hoping to try it tomorrow afternoon once i get my housework done.
OH! and I bought some cream cheese to make some muffins!

Thanks Christine! We had a new Chipotle open up a little ways from us, farther away from our usual one.. we found out that it actually tastes better. Weird, huh?
------------------------------

Feeling good. Have had 2 solid days of being back on track 100%.. immediately the sleep got better, waking feeling rested. Not to mention that my skin on my face is continuing to clear up the dark patches I've had ever since I quit lc back in Oct '12. Used the supps for 2 solid days again and my insides are telling me thank you. Utterly amazing how OoO responds to my skin and my gut..I love it. Starting probiotics tomorrow morning along with the OoO for awhile.

Tried my first BPC. Wowzers! I only did 1T of CO and butter since the amount of coffee I had wasn't large..also wanting to ease into the CO and avoid tummy issues with too much too fast. 1T turned out to be just enough.pretty potent stuff.. I can't imagine the people who drink up to 4T of it in 1 cup! Drank my coffee with breakfast and now I am feeling a little fuller than I usually do. Can 1T really do that???? Maybe it's just in my head. I am primarily taking CO for the health benefits but if it will help with fat consumption and fullness, then, by all means!

Scale is up a couple pounds, still. I hadnt weighed in about 5 days so I've no idea where I was at prior to getting myself firmly planted inside the wagon..I just felt like I was up in weight since I'd blown it so badly for several days.. I had said I'd weigh this morning however, so now I know I still have a few more days of work to get back to sig weight.. I can do it!

Home day today.. taxi, laundry, maid service. Had to laugh...when DS came home last weekend he tells me thank you..I ask for what? He says because of everything that I did or his dad did when he was home, that now, HE has to do. Glad he's learning! Now, if I can get these girls to see the light.

Rise & Shine Friends!!

Sheesh it's quiet around these parts anymore! Miss my girly's!

Had another totally on plan day yesterday, including all my vitamins and supps. Had close to a gallon of water and even CO. I love when I am doing what I'm supposed to and feeling in control of my eating!

Scale was down -.6 Not too shabby considering I had several pieces of bacon the night before...mmmmmm salty! Oh, and I had about a tablespoon of pb yesterday as I was busy running around to tide me over til I could sit down to eat lunch..

Busy fun day today! I'm glad, spent all day yesterday cleaning and taxi'ing. Headed out for fun this afternoon with DH and then more fun tonight for our anniversary celebration. Celebrating a few days early since he'll be working all day on our actual day.

Have a great day kiddies!

Thanks ladies! Doing a quickie this morning as I'm *supposed* to be getting ready for the day as I sit here...dh is out dropping kiddos at school and then gettng a hair cut..and here I am playing on the computer!

Had a fabulous day yesterday! Shopping was fun, got some new stuff to tide me for a bit.. I am officially down another size and it felt really really good to be in clothes that actually fit and not big and baggy and sloppy feeling.

Food was ok yesterday..too much sodium and not near enough water. Water is a hard thing for me when we are out and about all day long...I hate having to pee and visit every bathroom everywhere we go

Up .2 from yesterday so all n all not that bad.. still a couple pounds up from sig weight but workin on it!

Today is more running around and having fun.

Yes, Monica, it's tomorrow!

Have an awesome day my friends!!

Thanks for the lovely well wishes and congrats, ladies! I love you all!!

Been kind of a kooky day with late start for the kiddos in school.. DD18 at 11 and then Dd16 not until 12:30..

Ate a tad more carbs yesterday than I would have normally..it was controlled tho so I'm ok with it.. Scale stayed the same. Ok with that..at least there wasn't more gain!

Weather has cooled alot! Overcase and breezy...we had a dust storm yesterday and rain.. just got my car washed like 4 days ago Needless to say, I have mudd all over, I look like I went off-roading!! Back to the carwash I go!

Food's on track so far today. Missed my CO in my coffee today.. going to try and get it in with some peanut butter..

My car looks like it was raining mud yesterday too! And now it's blowing like crazy and looking dusty again. I'm loving the cooling off though - had a Duraflame fire last night!

Lovely day yesterday. Food wise not so much I was fine up until dinner and for whatever reason I ate some rice with dinner and then had nutterbutter's.. No excuses, I just did it. Meh...

Scale told me loud & clear to knock it off too. 231.8.. up +.4

Around 180 days left for my mini-goal and I'm pissing away the days. Must turn this around... TODAY!

You got it, Danielle. Commit to five perfect days. See what the scale says. I bet you'll be firmly in the 220s then. And then make a committment for each decade. This is my recent plan. haha

That's how I am, I'll struggle for a few days and then it's smooth sailing. But if I ever let my self have just a little something I'm not supposed to I end up stuffing my face with junk...
