Thanks ladies!

However..it was shortlived ATM..

I was up 2.4 today.

Yesterday was kinda a cluster-F with eating.. missed lunch completely and then dinner just kinda went by the wayside. Not nearly enough water and then I munched on 5 hershey kisses. Meh!

So now I begin the quest to get back to the 2's.. what a ditz I am!

Eating light today and slugging back water like it's my only job.

Trying to reel it in today. Yesterday was kinda a mess somewhat..not entirely too too bad, but enough that I didn't sleep well last night and woke up feeling super sleepy.. I missed several doses of my supps also, so it's back to the drawing board.

Did not weigh this morning. Didn't want that number sitting in my head all day.

Kiddo is back to school today.. now the chaos resumes with work schedules, school, etc.. Have I said how glad I am that I'm not in school this semester!

Good job for reeling it back in today. Honestly, if you were off plan yesterday, I'd prob wait until Wed to resume weighing. With LC the scale jumps so much easier (water weight) and it can be disheartening. More reason to stay on plan.

I also had a bad day yesterday and slept terribly. I was so happy to be back on track today. It wasn't a hard decision.

You're absolutely right, Amber.. I do not plan on getting on the scale for a bit.. disappointed in myself for sure.. See? Saw that # once and then *something* happens and POOF! This time it was my own doing and that's where the disappointment resonates from.

I wish I could erase that feeling we get when we're in a celebratory mode of thinking..where suddenly everything feels allowable and we "just do it"..

I know I've got a few things lit up on the back burners that are niggling their way into my eyesight that are probably the reason for my stumble.. Time to nip it all and keep moving.

It totally sucks that you bounced, but you know it's water, right? Good job jumpin back on track. and great job staying off the scale for a bit. My scale is broken and hasn't been replaced yet....I think I'm okay with that for a while. It's just a number. Sorry I've been awol!

Blonde is right about the good job getting back on plan. This is ore important than any minor foray into carb-land.

Ya know, I have tortilla chips once in a while too. Sometime guacamole and salsa just scream for a chip, other times I could care less. I just try and eat super LC the day before and count them carefully into my carb allowance for the day I eat them.

Hang in there and get some good sleep,,,this can impact my loss more than eating can.

Yeah, unfortunately when eating strict lc the scale is not so kind. I'll have to stay off for a few days, at least. Today was not so stellar. Wish I knew what was wrong with me.

Thanks Frankie! Yep, I do know how important it is to just get back up and on the horse again..today, not so much tho'! Ugh! I definitely agree about the salsa and guac needing some good company with a tortilla chip! Definitely hanging on tight over here. I'm going to bed early tonight before I get into any more trouble!

Hellooooo ladies!

Hoping for a better day today. DH is off today and our list is long so I'm praying all goes well..

No scale again today. Nope. Not gonna happen.

Disappointed in myself for givng up on myself for no good apparent reason. So aggravating!

Anyways, picked myself up and attempting to keep moving.

Have a great day all!

Listen sweetie, I'm going to apologize in advance for sticking my nose in: There is nothing wrong with you! I think for you low carb is a great idea! I also think that you rocked JUDDD and loved the freedom of it. Is it possible to ultra LC every other day, and keep your carbs on up days to under 75-100? It would allow you some treats, and you would still be coming well under carbs over a two day period. You shouldn't feel punished for having a few chips. What do you think? Eating under 100 carbs is still conducive to weight loss. Over a two day period it would be under 50 with is very conducive to weight loss according to MDA (Mark's Daily Apple). I'm learning that plans can change daily to suit your needs as long as you have one.

Thanks for your input, you know I'll always love you for it!

I've toyed with the idea of rotations that way..and while *I* may want to do that, my body has other ideas. This is the part where frustration comes in to play because I am not in the drivers seat and I hate it. My body is telling me, take your pick; stay very low carb, feel better, and see/feel all the health things disappear,..OR, eat higher carbs, feel tired, and watch all the health stuff that disappeared before come raging back with a vengeance.
The annoyance comes by way of feeling like doing lc is not sustainable for me long term..

Everything is hard though and it's up to me to figure out how to make it work. Gotta suck it up and quit complaining and just do it. It's the only way I will get to the goal I want. It's too bad someone else can't do it for me, I'd pay good money for that!

Girl, LIFE S UCKS. I agree! It is struggle. I always tell my DH, if only GOD hadn't made us to need to EAT and wear clothes (dang Adam and Eve) I would be thin and have so much TIME on my hands.

Not making meals, cleaning up after eating and making the meal and no laundry! WOW it would be perfect, right???? That's my humor for this Wednesday. Welcome to my world. DH and I speak of this often!

Danielle - Here's my take. You need to do LC. Change the way you think about it. Think about it like the greatest gift to you and your body. You immediately feel better, sleep better, and think better on it. Your body immediately starts to heal itself. You need it. Focus on the awesome stuff you get - cream, fat, steak, juicy burgers, chicken salad, etc. You don't have to really limit much or go hungry. It's pretty awesome.

And while it doesn't seem sustainable, I think over time, as you lose weight, you'll be able to gradually increase your carbs without all the consequences. Once your body heals, maybe you'll find that a few cups of rice or bowl of oatmeal per week is fine. You may find out that some fruits are perfectly great in your greek yogurt, etc. It's just that for now, they need to go to allow your body healing time.

Girl, if I never ever had to eat again I would be the happiest person in the world. No lie. The laundry thing I'd be ok with but the food thing, eh, not so much!

It IS pretty awesome. I remind myself all the time of the yummy food I get to eat..it's one of the biggest reason's why I keep coming back to it..cause, uh, frankly, who the heck wants to eat fat-free cheese and low-fat yogurt for the rest of their lives? Not me! In times like these I truly wish that I lived completely alone..I'd be golden. SO hard when everyone is bringing in cookies, chocolate and mentions of baking cake.

Contemplating using JUDDD rotations. Not 1000% sold on it yet but I keep gravitating towards it. Right now though, I need to be able to get through a week of just being able to stay low carb for cryin out loud!

Off to a good start today. Need to resume the supps, my skin is definitely telling me it knows I haven't been taking them!

No scale. Probably not for a few more days until i can get my act together and grow up.

Good job, Danielle! Stick with it today through Friday and maybe start weighing again on Saturday. I bet you'll be back to where you were, or close to it.

Also, make some cream cheese muffins or something to have on hand. They are way better than cake.

Good morning! I hope today is great for you. I am making lower carb choices again b/c I see that it makes a difference in how I feel, how "full" I get when eating, and in how my clothes fit.

Hey D, I haven't asked you lately, what are you reading? I just finished up The Fault in our Stars (LOVED LOVED LOVED IT) and am now reading Elenore and Park (and I LOVE it too).

I was just invited to an organization meeting for a new book club tonight. It will depend on the type of books they read. I'm a teen at heart and LOVE reading all the teen books. YA for me all the way!
