Lord have mercy...where to even start! I can't believe it's been about a week since I've been here or even logged in.. Ladies, thank you for keeping my journal warm for me and thinking about me!

On Feb. 27 I started not feeling well..by Mar.1st I felt like death.. the flu just royally sucks rocks.. Started feeling better a couple days ago and then woke up in the middle of the night with a massive earache.. and then both eyes started itching & oozing.. So I've spent the last coupla days trying to feel better AGAIN. Still icky eyes and my ear is plugged but at least I don't feel like I'm dying...

Diet wise I'm doing "ok".. I managed good attempts at rotations but have not stayed out of the chocolate ice cream I kept buying.
March 1 I actually saw 229!!! Haven't seen it since!

UD today and I have promised myself that I will track everything to make sure I'm in my zone. I am contemplating trying 5:2 plan or maybe trying to lc again..I'm just not sure where I wanna go.. I know a big part of my issue is my inability to stay well for months now..

D I agree, don't make any decisions until you are back to feeling well and back to full on controlled rotations! You have literally been sick for several months with just a couple days reprive here and there! You poor THING!!!!!!!!

Thanks hon! It's been a rough couple months and I am so tired of feeling blah! One thing I've noticed after looking back at some journals.....when I was doing low carb by the book...I hardly got sick or felt bad. The idea of having to do that again and struggle with the family, esp. DH and meal planning...I SO do NOT want to deal with it!!!

Ha Stacy! No kidding...the ice cream has been yummy I can't lie! Just not great if I want the scale to move...darnit! Praying for 100% but would be thrilled with at least 85% If I could get below 199 I'd probably not freak out so much with the scale...until then tho.... gotta find a way....

You are totally right and that's why I haven't really made any decisions about anything...just contemplating.. trying to make sure I'm keeping my head above water no matter how hard I'm kicking and flailing below the surface! However...the fact that low carbing in the past has kept me healthy...getting kinda hard to ignore..

Maggie~ anything odd or totally random...yep, it'll happen to me I haven't had an ear infection since i was in 8th grade... same with the eye stuff...good hell! Trying to just take my vitamins and eat right for now....now that I can *actually* taste stuff! ..

I was beginning to worry about you D, and now I see there was good reason. I'm glad you're on the mend. You have really had it rough this winter! Aren't you glad you don't have to worry about school this semester?

I think your health situation probably has everything to do with your not losing recently. Your body has just had too much to do with trying to heal itself. I hope you will see good results once you're healthy and back to rotations!

I agree on feeling better when eating low carb! I've been low carb probably about 95% of the time since last fall and I rarely get sick. That's pretty impressive since I work in a preschool and have a class of 12 three year olds.... Sickness has been rampant these last few months from stomach bugs, strep throat, coughs, colds, etc... and the most I've gotten so far was a little cold for a coupla days.

Yeah, I think this is the most I've ever been sick in my life! I am WAY glad that I don't have school to worry about, OMG! It's funny, I still occasionally have a split second of panic when i sit down with my book and think, OMG I should be doing homework!!..then i realize, oh, no I don't. I'm thinking that my body is going to take a while to repair? I will have to learn to rules to being patient, I guess. ..

Thank ya honey! Yikes, that's a lot of toddlers! Truth be told, I'd be in absolute heaven in that job setting! There is much to be said for lc eating, I have always been a huge supporter of it.. now, I'm thinking I may have to actually follow through with it again just to save my sanity!

Yanno, I'm actually quite proud of myself... why? Because even tho my rotations may not have been spot on perfect during this past week or so..they were STILL something.. I still stayed conscious of calories for the most part, even when I went over a couple days, and even when I went under by alot on a few UD's.. I learned to stay calm and just keep going.. The old me would have just said f* it, just eat anything and everything, why not, you're sick! It makes coming back to being extra careful with rotations that much easier, I think.

It really is for the birds..and I truly believe that I may have to go back to lc eating..if anything, to at least experiement and see if what I suspect is true! My immune system is better on lc..

Thank you, my girlies! Feeling alittle better today..I still can't hear outta my left ear but at least it's not hurting! My eyes...are another story Suffice it to say, i will not be venturing out into the public for any socializing today...

Pouring rain here...thunder & lightening woke me around 3am and put me right back to sleep.. ♥ the rain!!

Had an ok UD yesterday..I had too much sodium and not enough water..luckily there was only a .4 bounce on the scale....
Hoping to make today's DD a good one. I boiled some eggs this morning, for some reason hb eggs sound really good....and I don't usually like them.

DS getting ready for a road trip with his roommates to Canada tomorrow...dear ole mom's a little nervous. I know he'll have a blast and mommy needs to chilax.

Hard boiled eggs are telling you something... So eat em up. A little intuitive eating is a good thing! Glad you're on the mend...if you get too stir crazy, there's always sunglasses and a hat!
