The scale flat out sucks.

I'm sick. Sore throat, coughing, etc.. MEH!!!!

Had this weird bloaty blow up thing last night...looked like I was 12 months pregnant. No idea what it was from since I had only had about 400cals for my DD..and its stuff I eat almost every DD..so who knows? It's happened a few times before but I'd always attritbuted it to carby foods like rice or pasta.. haven't had that stuff in a little while so I dunno... I feel fine today and everything is back to normal

Scale is jacked tho Only gave me .2 down from the 2 full pounds it gave back to me the day before..arggggggghh! I'll be starting March still in the 30's.. Blah..

Today's an UD...so...the scale will just go up tomorrow.. I guess if i'm lucky I'll be the same for March 1st.. UGH

I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather--hope you get better quickly! I've been good about not weighing for almost 2 weeks now, and I'm thankful for it--because I know I wouldn't be happy with the results! BUT...I'm going to weigh-in over the weekend to see where I'm at--especially since starting the Fast-5 thing last night. I can tell right now I'm not at 200, like my stat reads...but hopefully I'll be close enough not to fret about it.

Monica, I'm at 2100 and yep, I eat every one My DD's are 420 and I usually am around there or lower depending on the hungries.... Not sure what to do...something's gotta give.. I despise the idea of having to give up my carbs Imagine that!

I know I'm a broken record, but I'd reduce those UD calories. At 230, I had to eat 1900-2000 on UDs to lose. I stopped losing at 2100 around 240 pounds. I'm pretty sure you said you tried it though and it didn't work, but geez, that scale has got to eventually give it up to you. You're doing everything right!

Oh no, not sick again D! That sucks!

I'm so sorry that dratted scale is not moving for you! That makes me so mad. You are working it, and really sticking with it. I know it's going to break through for you soon. You're eating about the same calories as I am. I know it sounds nutty, but have you tried going a couple hundred up on UDs, keeping DDs about where you have them now? I don't want to mess you up - only you know what works and what doesn't for you.

Thanks ladies! I truly have no idea what is going on. At all.

Amber, I have tried lowering calories and the scale actually shot up more than a couple pounds.. not to mention I was absolutely starved on the DD following..

LCG, I have been toying with this idea today as a matter of fact... it's just such a scary idea when I'm already at over 2000 already, KWIM? But stranger things have worked for various things sooooooo, I may have to really consider it..

Clearly, something has to change. I went back and looked at weights as far back as December..

How long did you stay at the lower calorie UD levels? Maybe it was a bounce from something unrelated and was about to trend down? I know you were hungrier, but maybe if you try lowering the numbers again, you won't be. Sometimes it's random hungries (I think we both get those from time to time) and sometimes it's hormonal, etc.

What else are you considering?

Not sure what to suggest. Maybe moving them down 100c or so for UD. Have you ever tried upping the DD calorie? I never eat that low. Heck, mine typically come in around 600-700c. I know that is not what most do, but I can't seem to function with much less! SORRY GIRL!

You are losing, you are not miserable, you are able to have time out with DH and kids and not feel deprived. The scale is a b-atch but you are doing really well. I can't explain JUDDD. I know I stalled for a long time (almost 6 months) stayed the same same same and then dropped to below 200! I know I don't need to tell you to not give up, just keep doing what you're doing, it's going to happen! Part of the beauty is no deprivation. Don't give up your carbs, unless you're ready to go back to straight LC.

You know, I was remembering that last time I was losing, about 12 or 13 years ago now, I had a stall of about 6 months too, maybe longer. It was halfway through my loss at about 50 pounds. I was hard core Atkinsing at the time. For the life of me, I don't know why I kept at it, other than I liked the food and I liked the way I felt on low carb.

I started walking about 30 minutes every morning, first thing, before eating, before work. It seemed to get the losses going again, and felt great. I enjoyed walking with my precious doggie back then. She's gone now and I just find it boring w/o her. But...I reserve the right to start walking again if I hit a bad stall. And maybe I'll think about a new pup friend too!

Just 'cause I think she was so pretty (I'm not biased, I swear) here's a pic of my little girl.

Your body just loves, loves the 230's honey.Danielle, I would suggest you can somekind of exercise in to get things going. I am no expert in weightloss but maybe some form of movement may help. I know you move but maybe something a little more intense. Just a thought sweetie, you don't have to take my advice. Maybe throwing the scale in the back of the closet and shutting the door may help as well.
