Good morning D! You love JUDDD and JUDDD sure loves you! It won't be long--you're in for a whoosh. Thank you for helping to keep me plugging along....I too, hope to say that there is no other plan for me but JUDDD. It makes sense, and I have to stop making it so difficult.

Hope you have a great day!

kinda sickening to think I have suffered for SO long..not to mention kinda feeling betrayed by it all. Reading up on perimenopause and trying to wrap my head around symptoms and what to do etc is mind boggling. The positive is that maybe some help with weight loss and feeling more like myself.
so do you see the DR to confirm this? Or just move on with what you can find online?

There's so much conflicting advice, recco's and ideas behind what is what that my head is spinning.. Ideally I should get my hormones checked but I don't have insurance right now so.......

Yeah like I told Janet ^^ I should probably get my hormone balances checked..there won't be any dx for the PTLS since it was nearly 17 yrs ago but I've been thinking alot last night & this morning about so many experiences over the years and it all makes sense that I'd possibly be in peri now...Funnily enough, like 18 months ago I opted to try to do hcg protocol with the over the counter stuff...OMG I was a raging B! and a stark raving lunatic literally overnight on it. THAT makes sense to me now that I understand my hormones may have been off balance alllllllllll this time, KWIM? Good lord, us girls are complex creatures!

Lisa, I am just so happy that you are giving it a 1000% with me and willing to stick it out and see what happens. Like I said before, doing lots of reading and research, while it sucks rocks that weight loss might be a tough endeavor for me, somehow in my pea brain it's actually made me feel a little better to realize that it's not *me* per se... I've finally learned to get out of my own way and just let things be..afterall, I can't exactly get mad that I don't suddenly lose 100lbs overnight, can I

Danielle I am peri-meno and I would get terrible nausea not so much cramping but nausea and sometimes a tad anxiety before starting my monthly. I just turned 51 and I would say when I hit 50 being late and starting early starting happening for me. I'm not sure how old you are but it starts early for some women. I find more relief once Tom actually shows than waiting for him. I must have sent him to your house.

I would take Tums for my upset stomach. I am not sure if they make Tums SF or not but it helped. I was always burping and I hated that. Symptoms like that are gone now.

Hi Maggie. I have had so many peri symptoms over the last couple years it's not even funny.. I believe that I may have been pushed into peri very early due to post tubal ligation syndrome.. Gosh I still can't believe that that's something real and that I am not a total freak with all the stuff I have complained about for years.. instead of treating the cause I got treated for symptoms, so off I went on anti-depressants, adhd meds, put on low fat diets, birth control pills,..etc..nothing worked and so sick of never feeling like my old self that the new self just became the norm.. does that even make sense I think i am estrogen dominant for sure and somehow finding this stuff out, having things "click" is somewhat calming to me today. I guess I finally feel validated?

...ugh, I guess this week we're gonna do hot flashes..

Thanks Jayce & Janet!

Not a whole lot going on today so far....besides the fact that TOM is kicking my a$$ Seriously, this sick feeling is yuck and I'm tired of feeling oogie for weeks out of every month!

Rain and wind today..making me more tired than i already feel. Staying inside and laying low I guess...good time to finish my book

Looked online at ordering labs for stuff that I want tested..turns out it won't be too too costly to have a looksee..will have to figure out when I can squeeze it in...hormone profile and thryoid panel..

Good UD yesterday...even if it did include some chocolate and a few fries The chocolate actually made me feel better after an entire day of ibuprophen that didn't seem to work.
DD today and woke up hungry..this day could go either way Working on trying to stay in control because after an UD yesterday I only bounced .2 upwards...hoping this means after today that tomorrow will show me a new decade...

Sorry you're feeling oogie, D. (I love that someone else uses that word! I've never heard anyone else say that!)

I predict you'll be seeing a new decade, and it will stick, very very soon.

Ugh, hot flashes suck--hope you don't have to deal with those for too long! I've been on birth control since I was 18 for extreme cramping with TOM.....I tried going off them a couple years ago, but I just couldn't handle the cramping--now I get them, but it's not a 'double-over-in-pain-screaming' kind.

Sending hugs to ya for a good day today!

I haven't had real good luck with bc pills..my DS is a pill baby .... I'd always thought I was too old now for them for maybe trying to curb some peri symptoms but apparently 55 is the new age for women who are low risk? Interesting, huh?! Cramping is awful, it hurts so badly sometimes it literally makes me sick.

Thanks Amber! You're too cute.

Absolute cray-cray with the scale. I said it about January...then about February, that hopefully those would be months that I'd have great losses..well, now here's hopin' that March is finally that month.

Hi Honey! I've been under the weather, wanted to say hi and hope you feel better soon. I've been post-menopausal for 3 years...I still get hot flashes!

There is an over the counter test you can take re: peri-menopause. You can get at the pharmacy.

Lookin for the 20's!!!

Oh thanks for the heads up, had no idea! Of course once I finally get confirmation not sure what I'll do with that information Dr bills suck The hot flashes are awful..and I've had night sweats like you wouldn't believe..I think I'll just start sleeping in my bathtub
I feel like I'm losing my mind because alot of the time all the symptoms will disappear just as quickly as they appeared. I swear DH is contemplating admitting me to the local hospital..

I'm sorry you're sick..that sucks too!

Hunting high & low for those damn 20's... they play hide & seek very verrrrryy well!

Wait till you start having Tom show up early like 2 times in one month. Oh happy day! Hang in there Danielle, I know all these symptoms far to well.
