AI- I lost it when the guy who had cancer and had his leg removed they said No to him, that was just mean, he sang as well as any of the others, I think Mariah is even more annoying than Nikki, OMG it is just painful to watch, I pity Keith Urban he is the only sane person on there! I think its time to retire AI!

Have a good weekend D!

Amber~ couldn't agree more about retiring AI. Keith Urban is so sweet on there, he just doesn't fit the circus on there. Mariah...she is just so... Meh. Boring! Kinda how Britney turned out to be horrific on X Factor.. OYE!

Movie was pretty good. Mark Wahlberg is just a classy guy, I really like his movies...who'd a thunk it, Mr. Marky Mark and his funky bunch! Went to chipotle for something quick to eat before the movie, hence, prolly why I'm up on the scale... sodium sodium sodium..and hello guacamole!! Lot's of it!

Ugh, weigh in sucked this morning I'm prayin real hard that this number isn't going to be my nemisis for the next month

The movies, always a great time. Glad to hear that you enjoyed Mr. Mark Wahlberg. Ohhhh I quacamole but I hear you on the sodium from your meal. The weight will go down, just drink plenty of water. So we tried Panera Bread last night, can you believe it going to Panera Bread when one is trying to low carb? Well we did, I have NEVER ever gone so last night was our first time and I ate off of the "Hidden Menu." Hubby did too but ordered French Onion soup and guess what it came with? You guessed it, a good slice of fresh bread and he didn't turn it up or push aside the croutons he ate on his French Onion soup. I would go there again, I like that they have LC food choices but hubby says it is toooo tempting with all the bread goodies all around. I had the Mediterrian Chicken Hummus Bowl and it was alright, kind of spicey but alright. Eating out can be very tricky but it is nice to know there are LC options out there.

Have a good weekend and no worries on that scarey scale.

Yanno, I'm probably just the oddball but I don't like that place. It's just eh, nothing too special IMO.. when I was on jury duty for 4 months a couple years ago, everyone used to love going there..I seriously could not understand standing in line for 30 min. to get somethin that was just so-so.. I'm glad that you found something that was good, and definitely, eating lc while out can be a challenge. Doable, but a challenge. Those times are when I'm happy that I'm JUDDD'ing

Having a noshy kinda afternoon.. not for anything in particular.. I somehow managed to finish off my mild duds from our movie last night.... so much for ultra low calories today... On the plus side, I have had tons of water.

Started a new book that I've spent the afternoon with... I can get used to this "just being mom" stuff.

Blew my DD yesterday. I dunno what got into me. While it wasn't an exhorbitant amount of calories, it was definitely not DD calories..more like medium'ish. I was so disgusted by my behavior I didn't even count them but if I guesstimate I was probably around 1100. Definitely not 425.

Scale stayed the same. So... not good and not bad.. Just meh.

Keeping rotations as they are because I need my UD for Tuesday to stay.... concert day and all.. So today will be my UD like planned and I WILL stick to my calories. No more no less. 2126.

Football and reading... Yep, that's my afternoon

Are you excited about the game? 49 ers were awesome yesterday!

I found my Nook!!! It had been missing for months, in the kitchen cupboard, how it got there I have no idea! But I was so happy!

Amber~ I am beyond thrilled that the 49'ers won!! Even better, to watch Tom Brady pouting on the sidelines! It's a Harbaugh-Bowl!!!

I'm not beating myself up about anything, just keeping everything very real. It is what it is. I know it's just a couple days of off kilter eating, just frustrating to do it after already having a pretty sucky end to December

I also need to come up with something to do to get me out of the house more, or maybe a good hobby. Now that I'm not in school I don't have my brain completely immersed in something all of the time. I can only read so many hours in the day to keep me busy.... I love that I get to be home and here for my kids still, old as they are. I know they love it. I think teenagers need it more than smaller kids, I know I sure would have loved to have a parent home and actually listening to me when I was 16! I am completely grateful to Mr. Hubbs for doing all he does so I can be here.

Taking the girls to the movies this afternoon.... for a little, "Mama"... Yes, a horror movie

It's a DD today. This should be fun at the movies.... NOT! I'm planning on eating a potato before we go so the popcorn won't be half as tempting. I'll swig on coke zero with lemon and be fine. Luckily neither girl will get any candy that I remotely like so no temptation there

I'm off for a walk and then to start my day....
Tomorrow's concert day!

Yeah I was reading about the way it was filmed..that's what I'm intrigued with.. I like Jessica Chastain too. I like Guillermo Del Toro movies usually so this should be good. It's actually gotten really good critic's reviews for being very well made.

LOL, we'll see if I don't too! My girls love horror movies..and DD16 pretty much laughs through most of them.. They've seen all the oldies DH & I grew up with, originals of Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, etc... those are mild compared to today I'll tell ya!

I didn't even realize that was Jessica Chastain b/c of the hair/makeup -- cool! I liked her in Lawless and The Help.

One of my favorite horror movies is the original The Omen from 1976. I would never consider the name "Damien" for a son b/c of that movie. LOL!

Movie was good. DD16 just cracks me up during scary movies...she's either super scared or she's laughing at them...

I did have like 3 handfuls of popcorn It was SO yum. I didn't have candy and I nursed a diet coke. I'd call it a good day.

Now I'm off to fold laundry and watch Twilight:Breaking Dawn Pt. 1

Weather has been awesome. Hard to beat 70 degree weather!

ETA: Jayce~ when my niece was between the ages of 2-4 she literally looked like the kid from the original Omen movie..Not even joking.. DH used to joke & tell her to come to him because he had to check her head for the sign... thank God she was too little to understand. O_O

Oh Dani! Hasn't the weather been perfect? It's so cold at night but it warms up beautifully during the day. It's supposed to be 77 today and I can hardly wait...my hands are freezing this morning.

I loved scary movies in my younger days, anymore it's too much for me. Last season I watched "The Walking Dead" when DD and family lived with me, now I can't do it by myself and DH falls asleep every time it's on. I love suspense but I have to draw the line at gore. eeeewwww.....

Did you see Paranormal Activity 3?? YYYIIIKKKEESSSS!!!!

Cassidy~Yeah, poor little niece used to get razzing all the time from "Uncle"..

Blonde~I love thriller type movies..not so much the gory stuff.. altho I do love The Walking Dead. We came late to the party with it though and are currently trying to work our way through the 2nd season. New show on Fox with Kevin Bacon just premiered last night, The Following. Kinda bloody, but the mental mind games with the twists & turns looks like it's gonna be a great show.

Concert day!!!

Despite a pretty darn good DD I was only down .6 Yeah, a loss is a loss is a loss, but i can't help but feel frustrated since I seem to only be trading ounces within 1 pound between my UD and DD..nothing new is happening.

Time to reassess.....
Not quite sure what it is that I'm doing wrong? I'm not eating any differently than I did prior to Vegas. However, I have been sick during nearly the entire month of Dec. & all of this month, and am just now the last 2 days feeling human again. The coughing and congestion are finally leaving. Maybe that has something to do with things, I dunno?

Not gonna worry about it today..I'll just follow my UD calories and see about it tomorrow. Errand-running and concert-going on the agenda today. Going to enjoy it!

I set the DVR up to record 'the Following", it looked like something I would like.

D~ one thing I learned about JUDDD is just trust it, Trust yourself, the weight will come off and you aren't struggling everyday. The fact that you've been sick is good reason that your body is not giving up anything at the moment but it will. Hang in there, it will happen.

Hey PajamaButt

Kinda looks like you're in the 'maintain lane' like I am this month....although I'm am SO far from maintenance it's not even funny! Like Blonde said about trusting the process.....it's such good advice. I struggle with it big time, but I know that eventually I will learn to trust that it will make things happen.

I'm a horror/thriller buff too......Love the old "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Hills Have Eyes" movies, but my ultimate favorite flicks are the "Saw" movies!!

D~ one thing I learned about JUDDD is just trust it, Trust yourself, the weight will come off and you aren't struggling everyday. The fact that you've been sick is good reason that your body is not giving up anything at the moment but it will. Hang in there, it will happen.
Watch it and LMK how you like it. I liked it about as much as I like Person of Interest. Great show!

Thanks for the input! Yeah, DH and I had a talk in the car on the way to errands this morning.. basically came to the same conclusion. Horrifying to see myself at the same weight as I was on 1/1 I'll give it a few more weeks of truly working the plan and then I'll see.. Another thing I forgot to mention...TMI but we're all girls so what the hell... so AF came 3 days early and kicked my butt royally.. long one too.. finally left and then the last 2 days I've had spotting. Ugh, it sucks to get old!!!! At least, I hope that this is a perimenopausal thing and not something more??? This typa thing is not normal for my cycle so that's what makes me think its girly related?

Kinda looks like you're in the 'maintain lane' like I am this month....although I'm am SO far from maintenance it's not even funny! Like Blonde said about trusting the process.....it's such good advice. I struggle with it big time, but I know that eventually I will learn to trust that it will make things happen.

I'm a horror/thriller buff too......Love the old "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Hills Have Eyes" movies, but my ultimate favorite flicks are the "Saw" movies!!
Hey! Yes, maintaining I can do with my eyes closed... apparently I cannot claim having patience for anything I'm learning and thank god there is a very large learning curve!

OMG the first Saw freaked me out! LOL Very good tho and I can see why they have such a following. I don't think I've ever seen the Hills Have Eyes..hmmmm will have to watch!

Short walk today. Nothing super hardcore but a walk nonetheless..
Dinner will be grab&go so trying to offset at least some of it.. lots of water too.

Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels have new books coming out. Interested to see what they're writing about this time.

Sounds like perimenapause to me Danielle, I know because I am in it and AF is visiting. Hang in there, all part of the big change one day!
