Hmm. Still up. In fact up even more. Hmm.

Additions to my diet this week have included chia pudding the past two nights - 2 tbs chia and a cup of almond milk. Maybe that isn't the best idea.

what is WRONG with me. I just binged on pork rinds and cheese dip. And a few tablespoons of pimento cheese before that. This is all head hunger. I know it. But I did it anyway.

Yeah, yesterday wasn't good. Lots of stuff going on in my head, and it ended up on a plate. I didn't even weigh this morning because I just feel so yucky. Hopefully today will be better.

Last night we went to a steak place for dinner. Mmmmm sirloin so yummy. It was a 12 ounce and I brought half home. I had a salad and broccoli with it.

I did not, however, walk yesterday, so that has to happen today. Henry comes home tonight so that will be fun. My house has been fairly clean for a week. That ends tonight!

Sounds like a great dinner! Is it hot in Alabama? It is finally HOT here -- it is 92 degrees in Boston! When it finally gets hot here, it gets really hot!

Yep, we skipped spring and went straight to summer. It's all good, though - Henry has been at the lake for a week, and we are spending all day Sunday at the pool. Tomorrow i think we will catch a movie. The pool we use is a JCC and has strange Saturday hours.

I love summer, though. I hate being cold. And my new bathing suit is here so I can get in the water, too.

Yay for your new bathing suit! I bet you got a few sizes smaller because of all of your recent success too! Hope you have a fun weekend!

It is smaller, but not as small as I'd hoped - but getting there so I have to think that way, right?

My plans for the day have changed - I thought I didn't have to work, but someone didn't check her email and thought she wasn't working. And is out of town. So, I'm working. Joy. But tomorrow I'll hang out at the pool, and Monday I'm filming segments for a local tv show about my shop, so that's good. Busy busy busy.

I'm going to eat on-plan foods today and tomorrow but Monday I'm going to double-down my efforts to get back on track. June 13 is my mom and dad's 50th anniversary party, so I want to look thin-faced for that!

Buying that bathing suit was one of the most traumatic days of my last year and a half. I had been feeling good about the progress I had made, until I started with the suits. Ohhhhh the angst I felt that day I felt so fat and like I'd made zero progress.

But I got one and have worn it in public. The one I ordered is in a box in my room, and I'm going to wear it to the pool today.

I didn't weigh this morning because I forgot. I'm going to be better this week and see if I can get back down. My (short-term) goal is for June 13 and then my (next short-term) goal is July 4. I get back into a routine starting tomorrow and that will help. I don't do well without chaos, apparently.

This morning I made a OMM with flax, and ate it with a smear of natural peanut butter and sugar free strawberry jelly. Oh my so delicious! For dinner tonight I'm having crack slaw. Yummy!

Congratulations on getting a smaller suit! That is still fantastic! You should be really proud. What is in crack slaw? It sounds so good. I usually make Bobby Flay's recipe for cole slaw (he is on the Food Network) but would love a new recipe!

I'm still down but not as far down as I was, and this week I'm hungry - in a way I wasn't a few weeks ago. There are a bunch if cheese cravings in my life right now. And I can't get satisfied. I end up in bed early quite often, to avoid caving.

I also can't make myself get motivated to exercise - again, something I wasn't struggling with last week. I confound myself, honestly.

Of course, it doesn't help that I live with the two saboteurs. Tonight they made sugar cookies. THANKS. As my husband said, he never sees me cheat, so he assumed it doesn't bother me to have that stuff around. Well, no - it does tempt me and I'm constantly reminded of "you can't have this ever again nanny nanny boo boo we can we can". Or maybe I'm being a bit melodramatic? Either way: sugar cookies were a carby favorite and I'm gonna stop whining right now.

Tomorrow will be better.

A giant oak fell across the street, and the drone of the chainsaws made sleep elusive last night. I'm feeling it today. I forgot to weigh this morning, which might be good because my dinner last night was higher carb than I usually eat. Today needs to be clean eating, lots of water and no slip-ups at dinner.

Life is crazy crazy crazy right now. My stress levels are at about 11.

Holding steady at 211. Hopefully next week I can refocus.

I'm thinking of trying a round of HCG starting right after July 4th. I'm reading up on it, seeing if I think I could do it through the summer.

Going in seventeen different directions at once. More later.

I am having some serious pms-related cravings. I literally dreamed of a carb-binge last night. There is a bag of leftover cake balls in my house. The bakery near my store is now selling cronuts. I could seriously work my way through some forbidden fruit right now, is what I'm saying. But instead I want to just...think about it. I know what it is like to eat these things, and I can have the memory of it, whether I eat them or not, so that's the plan. Fake out my brain.

I also plan to eat some serious barbecue in the very near future. I want ribs and smoked chicken, but not the sauce, so it means I need to make my own. I'll have to figure out how to make this happen. My down-the-street place does great smoked chicken. Maybe pick some up for tonight.

Up a bit, 211.4, and I feel puffy. Ribs and pork rinds were dinner last night.

Why don't they do pork rinds in good flavors? Like cheese puff or sour cream and onion? Why only barbecue and salt and vinegar?

There's one at this local superstore that does a hot and spicy one. I don't like it. I like the bbq and plain-occasionally. I bet you could season the plain kind though. I'm not one of those recipe gurus but I'm sure someone has done it. Maybe with popcorn seasoning?

I'm in a no-losing-body-changing stage again. In the past week I'm holding steady at 211, going up and down by .2, but my clothes are getting bigger. My shorts that are size 16s from lands end were still snug last week, this week are falling off. At the pool I'm getting lots of "you look greats" which is nice.

I keep thinking about HCG. I feel like I could do the diet when taking the HCG part. It's the two follow-up phases that worry me. I think instead I want to do a committed fat-fast next week, see if I can get down to 205 with that, maintain for a few weeks, repeat the week after July 4th, and again until I am where I am happy. I'd like to be under 195 by the end of the summer. It's going slowly, but that's okay. I can't compare myself to others - therein lies madness for me.

I do want to try to figure out the cla/gla combo. I'm so tired of my giant belly. I can't make heads or tails of it. I need step-by-step directions, obviously.

So today I'm supposed to be going to a place called Shark Tooth Creek with my son's scout troop, but because of a cascading series of events, I'm going to my store. Sigh. Sucks to be the boss.

In diet news: holding steady at 211. I have decided that I'm going to try the cla/gla combo. I have no idea what the best version to do is, since the threads are somewhat convoluted, but I think I've settled on a regimene. I'm also going to start a fat-fast Monday morning, and do that for a few pounds. See what the combo does. I'm semi-okay with how my arms and legs are looking (though they could be better of course) and I have no butt, it's my stomach and muffin top that make me insane.

I know I should start today, but I really want a OMM with peanut butter on it. I rarely have food cravings, but I know better than to start a strict eating time with one hanging out there. I think that's just asking for trouble.

For dinner tonight we had tacos, and I bought low carb flour tortillas.

Oh. My. Goodness.

That made my night. I had two soft tacos and a bowl of low carb chocolate ice cream for dessert. I feel so normal! It was amazing! Up a bit on carbs - probably close to 35 for he day. But worth every bite.

I think low carb tortillas might not be my friend. They are 6 grams of carbs each, and this morning I took one and tore up pieces with butter and used them as scoops for my scrambled eggs and bacon. Swoon!!!

I bought cla and gla this morning, so I'm trying that. Tomorrow morning I'm starting a fat fast for a week. Let's see how this goes.

Starting a fat fast today. I over-indulged over the weekend (low-carb tortillas, low-carb ice cream) and I was up to 213 this morning. It was worth it, though, and I knew I was starting a fat fast today.

Also, day 2 of cla/gla combo. I hope I see results with this!

I love a fat fast. I'm firmly in ketosis and my appetite is gone. I've had coffee with cream today (several), and a 2-egg omelet with an ounce of cream cheese inside. So creamy and yummy.

And I did an afternoon weigh-in and was at 211.4. I usually weigh a pound less in the morning than my afternoon weight. Woo hoo!

Well I didn't drop a pound, but I'm now at 211 even. I also ended up eating some lunch meat at 9:30 and that wasn't a good idea.

209.4

Let me just look at that middle number for a bit. It is a zero. I haven't seen a weight starting with that number in so very very long. I'm going to enjoy it.

Even though it doesn't mean a thing. There is no more difference between 209 and 210 than there is between 211 and 210. Yet somehow it is more important. And the idea of getting into onederland? Oh, just to think about it is exciting!

But it will come one pound at a time. I appreciate a fat fast because I see my weight move downward. I don't know if the cla/gla is doing something, or if it's the fat fast. Or the ridiculous handful of supplements I'm taking every day. Is there anything worse than a vitamin burp? Gross.

My calories may have been high today because for dinner tonight I ate the hotdog my son didn't want. It was a kosher beef Chicago dog, no toppings, and it was awesome.

I have no idea if it will put me over 210 again. Bleh.

I could wear my size 14 jeans if I wanted now. The 16s are more comfy for sure, but the 14s go on and zip/button with ease. Brutal muffin top, though. Brutal.
