Okay, not happy. And even though I KNOW it's a water situation, for purely psychological reasons (as Dr. Simeons says) I am STRONGLY considering an apple day.

If anyone is reading this, please tell me how hard an apple day is? Aren't you hungry? I'm barely managing my hunger now. Does it make you hungrier the next day? Are there any alternative P2 water elimination days?

I have heard of others doing the apple day, but I never did. I am so sorry that you are dealing with this.

I guess my thinking is, if I was stalled yet another day, I would be tempted to do the opposite and throw in a re-feed. Don't listen to me though, because I know that is not the protocol. I didn't experience stalls for very long until around day 45 and that is when I decided end my round in 60 days, because I felt that my body was needing a break. My pattern was more like a stair step. I would lose .5 and then next day STS, then .7, then STS.
I also had a few days where I went up a .5 lb. and that really makes you crayzay.

I am curious to know what Shelbyla & Julieboolie suggest? Both have done RX and possibly they may have had a few stalls??? Also, what about the girl on youtube who does RX? I am sorry but her name fails me.

I agree about the fruit. I skipped fruit frequently during the protocol. I love salsa & tomatoes, so I counted that as my fruit and sporadically had strawberries or oranges during my whole round.

Fruit is known to stall out on other plans, but I am not sure how it works while on Hcg?

There is no way I can do an apple day. I had one apple already and the very idea of 4 or 5 more makes me feel weak. HCG is hard enough.

I will have to let the water weight play itself out the "natural way." And considering that I'm certain I ovulated a week or so ago, this is probably just my uterus filling up with fluids. Chances are any apple day fix would be temporary or set up me up for yet another stall. Not doin' it.

Not exactly a whoosh, but something! And yesterday I subbed one fruit and both breads for a 1/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese between dinner and bedtime (when I usually have the second fruit). My body felt so grateful. It needs more protein, I just know it. Will do the same again today.

For what its worth, I cannot do apple days.The high sugar content makes me feel terrible. What my coach suggested was a couple of days, yes,more then one, of modified steak days or an egg day. She disliked apple days through and through.

Buttah, did you purchase Mind & Body work book from Robins site? I may get it.

I think I got it through her clinic's website Vivify in Minnesota. But maybe it was the Mind Body Method site? Or just google the workbook, and I think you'll find it.

Yup, apple days just make no sense to me. Too much sugar. I may do the double modified steak day if I hit another stall.

What was your coach's version of both the modified steak day and the egg day, please?

I'm certainly not the HCG Biggest Loser by any stretch, but it's faster than anything else I've done since February. I just hope this week that ends tomorrow isn't too much lower (it's at least a pound+). Makes it hard to justify the longer round.

HAPPY DAY! I hope weeks five and six are at least the same as four, if not better again. Eliminating the useless "bread" portions seems to have kept me from stalling. And that's looking at the big picture over several days, not the daily scale addict method (thinking what you did today directly impacts tomorrow other than water weight). I'm astonished on a daily basis at how many HCGers are a thousand percent addicted to that daily scale for their emotional well being and all sense of where they "are." For women in particular (with all our fluid issues), that just seems wonky to me. JUDDD was such a great reminder that it just isn't the case.

However, eliminating the 40 cals of "bread" HAS meant that I'm always a bit under 500 calories, though, even adding vegetable snacks and once or twice, a bit more protein. But I'm sticking with this plan as long as I'm not starving.

Debating doing a "shake day" today with Robin W's recommended/approved Premier Protein shakes. I would have three and add strawberries to two of them. She allows them as a meal replacement, but just having two is not nearly enough calories @ 160 each.

Oh wow!!! Hi Christina!!! You guys are so sweet to check on me. I think of you often (and rave about JUDDD over in the HCG forum). I've thought of posting a hello in the JUDDD forum, but I figured maybe it should wait until I'm back?

HCG is amazing. I wouldn't want to do more than maybe one other short round to hit my goal. But it's doable and fast. Hunger was an issue at first, but as you can see, it kicked in and now I'm fine!

So, yesterday, I decided to try using the Premier Protein drinks allowed by Robin Woodall's clinic as meal replacements. I had three, for a total of about 505 calories. Added ice, a bit of spinach to two of them... then four frozen strawberries to the third.

Here's what happened, reposted from the P2 thread.

Shake day results, given with context (because I am a very slow loser on HCG, at least at this point!)

8/30 - 169.5 LOAD DAY 1
8/31 - ??? LOAD DAY 2
9/01 - VLCD1 172.8 +3.3 after loading
9/02 - VLCD2 169.5 -3.3 (lost all of loading)
9/03 - VLCD3 167.1 -2.4 (-5.7 from load w)
9/04 - VLCD4 165.8 -1.3 (-6 from load w, 3.7 from pre-load)
9/05 - VLCD5 165.1 -0.7 (-4.4 from pre-load)
9/06 - VLCD6 164.1 -1.0 (-5.4 from pre-load)
9/07 - VLCD7 164.0 -0.1 (-5.5 from pre-load) (injected 125iu)
9/08 - VLCD8 163.0 -1.0 (-6.5 from pre-load)
9/09 - VLCD9 163.? (can't remember, possibly up .4 or STS)
9/10 - VLCD10 163 (back to 150iu, better day hunger wise)

So down around .7 (without a potty visit)! This is VERY NICE loss for me at this stage of the game, as you can see (I "only" lost a total of 1.9 lbs in week 4 that just ended).

And the craziest part? The shake day was my LEAST "HUNGRY" day in weeks! (And trust me, I like to eat, not drink. (I once tried doing a shake during a JUDDD 500 calorie day, albeit not with Premier Protein, and it was a disaster - I was hungry all day.)

Remember, also, I was NOT stalled when I did this shake day. I was just trying somethin'. I will definitely do it again. If anyone's going to try it, I left out that I chilled the PP drink first. And I added a bit of chocolate stevia to the ones I put spinach in.

Not sure on the ticker but how were your numbers this morning?

The 33lbs you lost, was that all with HCG or are you including Judd Losses? If its from HCG then I'd say you've kicked some big booty Miss Buttah!

Reddy, it's since FEb. First counting calories/mostly low carb, then Dukan Diet for 10 days (broke the absurd plateau), then JUDDD for a month and change (further broke the plateau, then HCG. I love JUDDD. Huge believer.

My HCG starting weight, pre-load, was 169.5. I am not a major loser on HCG... but...

Today TOM started and I STS!!! Do you know what this means, if my lifelong history is any indicator? It means I am due for a really nice loss in a day or three. I ALWAYS drop after TOM (prior to which, I stall or gain a bit), sometimes 2-3 lbs. So I'm VERY optimistic!

I like to think I've STILL kicked some big booty, no matter how I got it off (see above for breakdown - not all HCG by any means).
