Thanks Ladies--I was really surprised how good the malt vinegar tasted on cold, boiled potatoes. I don't think I could have done it if I didn't have that. I'd LOVE to go a full 14 days, but 5 was hard enough. I am so afraid of weighing today....or tomorrow.....don't want to see that number go up.

But.....good news today is that I don't feel as bloated as I have the past 5 days! Hopefully I'll see a whoosh soon if I can be good with eating this weekend!

After a well-fed weekend, I'm back to rotations...and today's my DD. Don't ask what the scale said today--I'm not gonna tell ya. And I'm NOT changing my weight stats just yet--let's see if today knocks it back down to 200.

Hi Monica! I did alright--was shooting for under 300, but actually ended up around 450. Today I'm not hungry at all.....just starting out with coffee with HWC. Brought a bag of popcorn and some mandarin oranges for lunch. I'm making lasagna tonight for dinner, so I'll save my calories for that!

I weighed this morning, and was at 202. Wish I could make something happen instead of hovering around 200 for months on end...... After the holidays, Joe is going to start Atkins again--I think I'm going to continue JUDDD, but decrease the carbs a bit. Atkins worked nicely for me, but I hated restricting so much. We'll see when the time comes.

High point of my day: Weighing in this morning and seeing 202....Again. I pigged out on homemade lasagna and garlic bread last night, and I expected to see a higher number. Hope it doesn't come tomorrow.

Planning my usual DD.....coffee w/HWC and Torani, 100 calorie bag of popcorn, and maybe a potato w/malt vinegar. Going for a 300 calorie day!

I sure hope so.....hasn't happened yet! Ended up trading my potato for a piece of leftover lasagna, but I stayed within 500-600 cals for the day. I forgot to weigh this morning before my 3 cups of coffee and english muffin, and the scale said 203, so I hope it's just because I drank a whole bunch of liquids! Tomorrow we're going to dinner with Joe's parents, so I'm going to try to make this a medium day to offset tomorrow's caloriesl, because I'm dying to try fish fry at this new restaurant.

Oh, and hopefully by the end of the weekend we'll have a wedding date set. We've been procrastinating for too long!

We've been dragging our feet on setting the date because we weren't sure HOW we were going to get married--one family is laid back and says elope, the other wants a church wedding.....we decided we're going to elope and plan a celebration with everyone at a later date. So....tonight we break the news. Hoping for a positive outcome.

Today the scale says 203.7. Ugh. Maybe I need to do another potato hack? Next week looks pretty good for it; right before all the holiday eating too, so I might just plan on it.

How exciting! My expereince, if I had it to do all over again, elope and big PARTY! That's what everyone remembers anyway....the party. The vows and stuff, well that's just for the couple and maybe a few close friends/family. How did everyone take it???

It went better than we expected. So, now that both sets of parents say "Just do it", we're going to "just do it". hehe We're thinking a winery wedding....then a laid-back BBQ celebration at a later date.

Well, it's either that, or VEGAS baby!

The other day I was thinking about how I lost weight earlier this year--From January to July I was part of a weight loss challenge in our area. I ended up losing almost 35 pounds in those 6 months. Well, they're doing the challenge again and I found out that those that participated last year can do it again! Maybe this is what I need to get me going again! 35 more pounds and I would be at my goal! This time they are promoting it more, so I'm a little hesitant--not sure why.....Maybe it's because I don't think I CAN reach my goal. I don't know. It always seems when I get to a certain point, I give up.

Need to think a little more about this.....I need something to push me, but I don't want to embarass myself in the process.

Thanks Monica! The past few days have been pretty "blah", and I've had a hard time counting calories. I think knowing that we're going to be doing Atkins(with me pairing it with JUDDD) after the holidays, I kinda feel like I can go wild with eating until then. I'm trying my hardest NOT to do that.

Well, it seems that the holiday eating so far is not doing anything for me--I haven't gained or lost. I've been working out every morning though, so I'm hoping that will start to kick something into gear. Next week, Joe and I are starting Atkins induction--I'm not sure if I should do the JUDDD rotations during induction or if I should incorporate them after the 2 week period....

Ok....a New Year, and a New Plan! Eggs and bacon for brekkie today! Got a turkey breast baked up for later, and going shopping to replenish our Atkins essentials! I'm getting over this cold I caught over Christmas finally, so I feel pretty good!

Hi Ladies!

Well, 3 days into it and I'm doing ok, I guess. I tried having nothing but coffee and HWC yesterday for a DD, but I topped that off with a couple scrambled eggs....so it was more of a MD. Not having a problem staying below 20g of carbs so far....We'll see what happens when the weekend comes into play (because weekends are toughest for me as far as controlling my eating!)

Have a great evening!

I would think it would still be a great DD even with the eggs? Hang in there, you'll find your groove!

Thanks D! You and Monica are inspirations to me, and every time I feel like it's easier to just stay overweight, I read your journals and it really helps pull me out of the funk. I just have to keep on track and remind myself I'm not in a race.

Today, whether I like it or not, will be a DD. No appetite whatsoever. Can barely get my coffee w/HWC in this morning, which is seriously surprising. ha! Still struggling with the cold I got last week, so I guess I can give props to being sick for helping my diet a little.

Lisa - I think Coffee and eggs on a DD is great! I would imagine it stayed right in line calorie wise! Well, not sure how I inspire. It's a lifelong battle for me. Each and every day, JUDDD has made the battle much easier for me!

Got big plans this weekend?

Sweetheart, you'll find your way! Just never give up even when you don't think you can take it any more. I relate greatly with the struggle, trust me! It might take you some time to find your groove, but know that you WILL find it. Learn from your experiences and know just how wonderful you are. Right now. At this moment!

I'm sorry you're still not feeling 100%. Man, this thing going around really knocks everyone out for a while..I'm still coughing myself! Too bad it doesn't count as crunches or something, eh?

I had to laugh about the whole coughing = crunches thing! My abs were sore yesterday! I didn't get to do a darn thing this weekend...this whole sickness thing is getting old.

I've been doing ok with the low-carb thing, but not with rotations this weekend. Drinking way too much tea with HWC....but not going overboard. Still hanging in there, hoping to get back to 100% this week!
