Well....HELLO! Once again, I've had a problem with sticking to plan and falling off the wagon--This time, the wagon peeled-out and sped out of sight very quickly. I ate....felt guilty....ate more to quell the guilty feelings....stopped working out.....started to feel useless while my fiancé has had great success on Atkins. I've already come to terms that I will never give up potatoes, so I'm going to give JUDDD another try. A couple things are going to be different this time around:

1. I tried bulletproof coffee for the first time a few weeks ago. This will be my staple for my DDs.

2. I *will* eat potatoes and not feel bad about it.

3. I will commit to 15 minutes of exercise every other day, starting Sunday....and will increase it ONLY if I feel like it at that moment. No more planning ahead with an hour here, and an hour there. I need to teach my body/mind how to make exercise regular without feeling negative about "having to do it", and 15 minutes on the elliptical/treadmill is so minimal that I know I have no excuse NOT to do it.

So....there ya go. Baby steps, but I'm excited to get back. I've been sick with Bronchitis the past few weeks and watched the scale move UP UP UP and I'm even more physically ill about that!

I need support....spending time reading these forums was one of the most supportive things to me, and I've missed that.

Hey there! Glad to see you back.

Baby steps are a great idea...I take it 1 day at a time now, and that's been helping. Happy Friday!

Yay, Lisa! I'm so glad you'll be back on the JUDDD boards. It sounds like you have an excellent plan, and I agree, making it do-able is really the key. Making goals that are too hard to reach, or need to be built up to is a sure way to give up and do...whatever. Best of luck!

Well, today is my UD, and I started with 16 minutes on the elliptical. Cleaned house for a bit, then had a bulletproof coffee. I had a ham sandwich with mustard for lunch, and we're going out to eat with friends tonight. Got plenty of calories left for the evening, but I'm going to try to stay away from wine.... We're hosting "game night" though, and with 8 bottles of tasty wine in the house it's going to be tough!

I do have to say, I feel really good about coming back to JUDDD.

It was a great weekend! Ate well, stayed away from alcohol except for 1 Bud Light Lime, and yesterday's down day was awesome. Woke up with the wonderful hunger pangs. I weighed this morning and was a bit shocked--I'm trying not to weigh every day because last time I was so obsessed with it, so I'm just going to "officially" weigh in every Sunday. I'm crossing my fingers that what I had today sticks!

Saxy, you can do this! We can help each other out! You getting me out of my FUNK and me helping you get in the swing of things again! Way to go on skipping the WINE! I know, KNOW there is no way there could be glasses poured near me and me not partake *unless it's a DD!*

Way to go girl!!!!!!!!!

Good morning! Well, I started my day by sliding into the ditch on the way to work. Luckily, there were two guys in a garage down the road that were able to pull me out. That was enough to get me going WITHOUT the bulletproof coffee I had for breakfast!

Yesterday was a fantastic UD--enjoyed without going past 1800 cals. Today, I'm planning on all liquids. BP coffee.....got a protein shake for lunch, and another protein shake for dinner. That will keep me below 400. I hope I can do it!!

Yeah, it was cold out there.... -16! As I was hurrying to work I thought "Damn, I need to get them something for saving me!" Any ideas? Was thinking a gift card to a local restaurant or coffee shop? I'd send a plant or flowers, but it was a truck maintenance shop and I don't quite think flowers would fit in the picture there.

Darn slippery roads! I'm glad you're okay, and that they were able to help you out. I agree with Monica, a bar/grill is a great idea. You're sweet to do that. I bet most people wouldn't even think to do something like that. They'll appreciate it, I'm sure!

Ok, I decided to tuck a couple of gift cards into a thank you card.

Yesterday's DD was good! I had my BPC and protein shake....I'd planned on another protein shake for dinner, but I opted for roasted broccoli. Needed something to chew! Still made it under 400, and I feel pretty good today! Started my morning with a piece of ham, and will have a protein shake for lunch. Dinner will most likely be something meaty and cheesy, and chock full of calories.

Thanks! I don't know if today's DD will be that low--my sweetie is coming home today after being gone a week for work and he wants to go out for dinner. I skipped the bulletproof coffee and will try to make it on just water and green tea until dinner, and make it a MD. I can fill up on salad, but I need my blue cheese dressing and that is full of cals!

I think if I can do today as a MD, and tomorrow as a MD (under 1200 cals), I can pump myself up for another 400 cal DD on Saturday!

Well, it looks like I was able to keep it around 1200 yesterday--not eating until dinner! Had rack of lamb (which was the first time trying it--was good, but it was so tiny I didn't get to taste much. haha) Salad bar was good--kept the blue cheese dressing light, and had only one alcoholic drink. Today's an UD but I'm going to try to do the same thing today....not eat anything until dinner, and go out for fish fry!

Well, today was my first "official" weigh in after doing a week on JUDDD. I am down 4 pounds. Not sure how that's going to change after today's Up Day, but it was good to see the scale move!

Thanks! Going to rock today's DD! Started out with a protein shake, have a grapefruit at the ready in case I need it, and will most likely do another shake when I get home. It's bowling night, so it will be easy not to think about food tonight--just hope I can bypass the fridge when I get home and go straight to bed.

Whoops! Couldn't get on the past couple days--but I'm still doing alright! I actually have tried the slim fast xtra protein shakes (the powder) and they are amazing! I'm going to use them on DDs, because they seem to fill me up fairly well!

I took a peek at the scale and it looks like I'm up a pound since Sunday....but I guess that's ok. I've got TOM starting today, so we'll see what this Sunday brings!
