Hi! It's been a super busy (and super stressful) week for me...and while I'm trying to stick to my eating window, my schedule the past couple days hasn't been good for that. Good news is that I haven't gained any weight the past 7 days, but I've got another week or so of madness to get through....Hopefully I will have some more good news to report soon!

Me too! I've been so bad about checking in here, and that is causing me to throw off a bit on my eating--however, I've lost a pound since last week so I'm not going to complain too much about it.

Hope you're doing well--by next week I hope to start taking time each day to check in, and catch up on what everyone is doing nowadays!

Arrggghhh.....Taking a break to check in. Anticipated something big, career-wise, and as of yesterday was told that everything is on hold....if not eliminated altogether. But I'm staying positive, and it's business as usual until I hear otherwise.

Surprisingly, I've done well with keeping my weight the same as I go through all this stress....In fact, I've gone overboard a few times on meals but haven't gained. I have to be thankful for that.

Anyways, just popping in....I'll check in again soon!

Thanks Monica! I'm back on the Lower carb, Fast 5 wagon starting today. Breaking my 19 hour fast at 11am today, and I can't wait!

I'm hanging onto the possibility that I may still get the opportunity for my career to move forward--it's tough after being in one position for 15 years and hitting the ceiling as far as moving up....can't do that without moving onto a larger account. So I wait....in the meantime, I'm keeping everyone else happy and in line!

I'm a Security Account Manager for a computer company. The position I'm hoping to move into is a National Account Manager for a different client--more territory, more responsibilities.

Things are changing! Hopefully for the good.... I've been on track with my eating, and started exercising again--Crossing fingers that I can stick with it! I think it's going to be a bit easier for me now, because my fiancé is working out of town for 4 days out of the week (for at least a year)--so I will only have to worry about my meals for that time, and can work out anytime without worrying about bothering him. We'll see how it goes....Now if I can just be good when he's home on the weekends!

Sounds like you have a good routing going! I guess it's a blessing and a curse to have BF away like that. If it helps you stay on track, though, you're definitely taking advantage of the situation. Good luck!

Last week I found that it was much easier to stick to my eating window without the man here.....we overdid it with eating on the weekend though. I'm ok with it, and back on plan today! Got my exercise in, and ready with my meals for the day!

I've always had a big problem drinking enough water--my sweetie found these 64-oz bottles at Wal-Mart, and he sliced up some limes for me to put in my water....Well, I think that's doing the trick, because I drank 2 of those yesterday! I'm skipping my coffee today and drinking the water this morning too! I'm digging it!

I had a raging headache from lack of caffeine yesterday, so this morning I had only 8oz coffee, which has been soothing the beast so far; Still drinking my water at copious amounts--I put cucumber and lime slices in my bottle today! Fun! Who knew I'd take such delight in water?

Whoops...been a couple days since I've updated here! I'm looking at either adjusting my 5-hr eating window, or going into something else altogether....Been losing and gaining the same couple pounds and it's trying my patience. This week I'm experimenting with eating a big breakfast and going as long as I can on that (and my cuke/lime water) If that seems to work, I just might be able to incorporate it into JUDDD rotatations!

Well, after getting frustrated about not hitting ONEderland yet, I've messed around with my plan a little....and have decided that eating once a day seems to fit with my schedule, so I'm going to do it for as long as I can handle it! I eat ANYTHING I WANT between 4-5pm, and just drink water with lemon/lime, or plain coffee in between. I checked the scale after doing this for 3 days and I'm down 2 pounds--however, I'm not going to weigh again for another couple weeks if I can help it. I really, really want to see some good results! In tracking my food, I'm getting between 800-1400 calories in a day with my one meal, so I'm not going overboard...yet, at least.

I keep busy enough at work that I don't think about food that much, but I have a couple of packets of 40-calorie miso soup at the ready if I need them. So far, I haven't.

Crossing fingers that I can stick with this....the tummy growling is starting to become a motivator for me.

Everything else is going alright....my Sweetie is out of town for work from Mon-Thurs every week, which is kinda lonely....But I make do with the time. I've been on a string with my job for the past couple months now, wondering if I'm going to transfer up, or end up looking for something totally different. When you're a contractor at a company going through some major financial changes, you tend to have a perpetual feeling of the "unknown". I've been at my job for 15 years, and while a new career would be an adventure, it's also hard to think about doing something different, ya know? If I was single and wasn't a homeowner, I wouldn't have as much a problem.....because there are sooooo many good positions in my field that are in other states.

So....yeah....just pluggin' along. Keeping busy.

I peeked at the scale this morning, even though I've been sooooooo good about not checking--Weigh-in is on the 1st, and I'm hoping the number is as good as it was today! Crossing fingers!

I'm really liking the one meal a day plan--it works for me. And I feel like I can concentrate more at work lately, because I'm no longer thinking about food--weird that I'm not thinking about food when I know darn well that I'm hungry... When my sweetie is home on the weekend, I eat 2 meals Sat/Sun....one big, one small. (Mostly stuff out of the garden, so I'm getting plenty of veggies!)

I think I found something that can truly be sustainable for me.

Thanks Carol! I'm actually surprised that I can hold off eating for that long--I have never been too good at turning down an opportunity to eat. But I am doing it, and it feels pretty awesome.

I think it is great that you found something you truly enjoy! That is the key. Just settling is what I was doing when I was LCing trying to tell myself I could do that forever....I felt deprieved all the time. Key is to not feel deprieved!
