I'll always be here and of course support what ever plan you decide. At the end of the day all that matters is success at what you're working on!

Thanks D! I had a great DD yesterday, and feel good today! Logged in 30 minutes of walking/jogging and had fried eggs and toast for breakfast.

I'm definitely ready to keep going on JUDDD, and hopefully the exercise will make a difference and keep me on track. One day at a time! I CAN do this!

Small successes, but hopefully they will make all the difference! Yesterday I made a gooey chocolate cake with yummy buttercream frosting, and I topped off my UD by having a small piece--this morning I walked right by it and said "Not today!"

I'm off work today for the holiday, but I still got up at my usual time (4am) and worked out! One day at a time!

I'm doing my best....and you know what seems to be keeping me going? NOT STEPPING ON THE SCALE. I know, I know....MONICA--You told me more than once to stay off the scale, and I didn't listen with both ears. haha....well, now I am. At this point, I can say that the number doesn't matter--I feel good getting my regular exercise in, and being faithful on my food logging. Today's an UP day, but I don't even feel like pigging out like I usually do....Hope that is a turning point for me.

Yanno, I believe the feelings of not wanting to pig out on UD's is part of the magic of JUDDD.. I can't remember where I read it, maybe even in the book.. .. I am that way too and I love the feeling of control for the first time in my life.

Good for you for staying off the scale...wish i could I guess I keep doing it cause in the grand scheme it doesn't bother me all that much... I just kick it when it's mean and then I feel better!

Have a great day girly!

I'm here, I'm here! Yesterday's DD was a little on the high side, so I'm going to be careful with today's UD. Been feeling really bloated since yesterday, not sure what's going on there--well, maybe I do. TOM is next week, so I'm really going to be staying away from the scale for sure!

Had a fantastic weekend, and I was pretty good with eating too, considering we were on the go a lot. Saw one of my most favorite 80's bands LA Guns on Saturday (18th time I've seen them) and it was an excellent show! Beforehand, we stopped at the mall and I spent more than I wanted to at Teavana....but it just might be worth it if I can stick to tea rather than coffee--I drink way too much caffeinated coffee to be good for me.

Today is a DD for me. I'm learning that pre-portioned meals work best for me. I don't know if this is exactly healthy, but I've got one of those Kraft "Easy Mac" cups for lunch--240 calories, so not TOO bad on that. Greek yogurt for dinner at 110, and plenty of tea should keep me under 500. Bowling tonight, so I won't be tempted to eat!

Ya gotta do what works for YOU and if this works for you then go for it!!
Weekend sounds fun. You know me, anything music or movie related and I'm elated! We're gonna see Muse in March, I can't wait!!

DH loves Teavana..we spend way too much in that store!

Alright...made it through yesterday and was pumped up for today's UD and I feel ill. I made 2 eggs w/ham....ate it, and now I feel horribly cramped. TOM is coming this week so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it, but I really don't want to be at work. I'm drinking some mint tea to help, but I feel like it's going to be a looong day. Who knows, I might luck out and get to go to bed early tonight!

Good morning! I went to bed at 6pm last night! And loved it! Still crampy, but I feel well-rested today, and not hungry (which is a WIN in my book!) We had stir fry last night and it was so good I packed some for lunch today. Going to try a 5 hour eating window today to see if that might help me--especially since we always eat dinner waaaay early--4pm. So....Tea/water until I open the eating window at noon!

Ugh, cramps are the worst..I'm glad you're not feeling too too badly. Debating on doing a window for eating myself... *something* has to change for me! Wow, 4pm is early for dinner and my kids used to balk at 5 when they were younger..nowadays we're lucky if we've eating by 7.

Have a great day, Lisa!!

Yeah, 4pm for dinner....but it's what works best for our schedules, since he starts his day around 2am, and I start mine at 4am.

I'm excited about the 5-hr window thing.....my tummy is growling, but I'm ok with it! Half hour until that window is flung open and I can have my yummy lunch!

What all did you put in your stirfry? We love ours. We use:

Can of Chick Peas
sugar snap peas
mushrooms
cauliflower
broccoli
peppers
squash

We don't use all of these each time. It varries depending on what we have at home.

Ooh, I didn't think of chick peas! That would add lots of protein if I don't feel like eating meat! We use:

Some kind of meat - lately it's been chicken thighs. YUM.
Mushrooms
Bean Sprouts
Broccoli
Snap Peas
Shredded Cabbage

We use a bottled teriyaki soy sauce, or I make a sauce with soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, minced garlic, red pepper flakes and tighten it up with cornstarch and it is SO good! I'm going to experiment a little with SF sweetener to try to get it so I don't have to add sugar....but I like the sweet/spicy combo so much!

Ok, Day 1 of Fast-5 complete......I closed the eating window at 5pm, and I feel great! I had my lunch, and made another stir fry with just veggies for dinner, and I had ONE BITE. Just wasn't that hungry. Although, I did have a couple blonde Oreo cookies to make up for some calories. haha My tracker gave me 840 calories, so I'm verrrrrry surprised that I'm satisfied on just that.

Now to say goodbye to food until noon tomorrow.....Hope I can do it!

Let me know how the fast 5 go. Will you do rotations with it? Counting calories? or just 5 hour window?

Hi Monica! Right now, I'm not doing rotations.....just the Fast-5, and tracking my food. Yesterday went fine, but this morning my tummy is ANGRY! I didn't eat much for dinner so I'm sooooooo excited to have lunch! A little over 3 hours and I can tame the beast!

I may add the rotations back after a few weeks, but I want to go slow and easy to see how it works before tweaking anything.

ha...I just posted my plans on your journal. I have to say, this Fast-5 thing is really making me think I found my life-long plan! I'm am so freakin' surprised that I have the discipline so far to just eat within that 5-hr window and NOT snack on things all day! I'm excited at how good I feel, in just 3 days of doing this!

Well, since today marks a new month, I decided to officially weigh in! I've stayed off the scale for over a month now, and I was sure I gained 10 pounds.....I'm at 206. Not great, but a heck of a lot better than 210, which I was preparing for!

So....we'll see what I end up at for the month. I'm actually going to try to go another month without weighing! Think I can do it?
