Well I still just eat almost the exact same as I started. I eat about 1750-1900 a day. I really think it just depends on each person an trail and error to see what works. I actually do worse if I go below 1600. I don't know if it's because I'm 5'10 or what it is with needing higher calories.

my nutritionist put me on 1673. my metabolism is faster then the average by idk I think 2.6%. Years ago my metabolism was 16% faster then the average and I could never eat enough......
she has a machine that measures ur co2 output in the morning fasting....then she does some calculations and it gives u ur RMR Resting Metabolism Rate. Its kinda neat..... Otherwise I would have never eaten that much....I used to eat always under 1000....lololol not anymore....lololol |

Wow that is a fast metabolism!
I think I also have gotten use to listening to my body since starting low carb back in November. I only eat when I feel hungry and if I am eating the correct percentages of things and not eating a ton of calories I know I will do well. I hate feeling hungry so I defintely love being able to eat all of this fat ![]() |

Ja, I don't like feeling hungry either and most of all I don't like to deprive myself of stuff. As soon as I do I eat anything in site....it consumes my mind 24/7 ....lololol
but now.....its all good cause I know I can have it...I eat when I am hungry also...I get enough water so I know its not "hunger" from being dehydrated. Are you still getting hammered with rain???? Cathy u hanging in there??? |

Omg I am the same way with eating anything in site. I am like a wild animal LOL. It's best to keep me well fed
. It has been sprinkling here for hours but nothing bad. We have a 70% chance of rain tomorrow and a 60% chance Thursday then back to sunshine for the weekend and Friday . Have u noticed your mood being better on this diet? I feel like I am always really happy. I am usually a good spirited person but I have been super happy lately but maybe that's just the weight loss lol ![]() |

I just posted this to another thread but thought this might interest you guys.
Sucralose is a sweetener but unlike stevia, Splenda and sweet n low it contains no fillers so there are no carbs. All artificial sweeteners contain sucralose. I buy ez sweets because it is pure sucralose therefore it doesn't count as one carb per serving like other sweeteners and does not cause stalling like aspartame and other artificial sweeteners. See definition below: Sucralose is not utilized for energy in the body because it is not broken down like sucrose. It passes rapidly through the body virtually unchanged. Sucralose has been extensively tested in more than 100 studies during a 20-year period and found to be a safe and remarkably inert ingredient. It can be used by all populations, including pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children of all ages. No population subgroup has been excluded from using sucralose. Sucralose is beneficial for individuals with diabetes because research demonstrates that sucralose has no effect on carbohydrate metabolism, short- or long-term blood glucose control, or insulin secretion. ingested sucralose is not broken down by the body and therefore it is non-caloric.[3] In the European Union, it is also known under the E number (additive code) E955. Sucralose is approximately 600 times as sweet as sucrose (table sugar),[4] twice as sweet as saccharin, and 3 times as sweet as aspartame. It is stable under heat and over a broad range of pH conditions. Therefore, it can be used in baking or in products that require a longer shelf life. The commercial success of sucralose-based products stems from its favorable comparison to other low-calorie sweeteners in terms of taste, stability, and safety.[5] |

Hey we are hanging on. We are only one of the 6,000 our of 17,000 people in our area that has power. This is crazy the way the rain and wind are coming. Now it has stop moving and just sitting on top of us dumping rain. A window in my son's room broke out. Thank God his window is under the porch. Not too much rain coming in.
