Thanks everyone for the welcome and advice. Much appreciated. Ive done a bit more planning today and will have the following:

B - strong coffee, three big dollops of TC one splenda
snack - 1 boiled egg with mayo
L - boiled egg, .5 cup lettuce .5 cup cucumber mayo sardines in oil
D ?

I work for a mining company in the north of Western Australia so I am restricted to the foods I can get from camp, which can be a bit challanging.

I am unable to get coconut oil but casn get coconut cream, would this be a reasonable substitute?

Hope you all biggest losers today x

Georgia and Allie thank you!!
We had a great time and it was nice to just not worry about what I ate.
I ended up having a couple bites of a donut today. I have GOT to work on saying no after a cheat meal. I have such a hard time not wanting to say well it can be a cheat 24 hours lol. I stuck to plan other then that today.

Allie, I find myself almost never hungry and everyone around me ring hungry way more often than me which is Defintely really nice

Georgia, I have had the same thing happen to me with clothes being looser and going days without going down on the scale. I measure some but unless it's a big difference I am always unsure of whether I am doing it right or not so I normally just let my clothes tell me a lot of other people are great with measuring. I don't know why I never feel like I can tell well. I obviously can tell I have lost 5+ inches in my waist and a bunch in my hips since I started but that's because that's a big number lol

Morning all,
New virgin weight - down only .2 but I'll take it.
With that I find that I am not losing as fast as I usually do. I went back into ****** to the week when I did amazing and realized on average for that week I ate about 1500 cals and lately I have been averaging 1700 a week. So this weeks challenge will be to keep those cals down and see if it makes a difference.
Hope you are all doing well this morning!!

Wow that is a tough situation!
I have never had coconut cream myself but I just checked the nutrition info and it looks like it is pretty high in carbs and protein so if you do use it be very careful. You can use lots of heavy whipping cream, pecans, macadamia nuts, butter etc thought

Hooray!!!!

Well I am still seriously bloated and today there are NO goodies in the house like there was yesterday so I am right back to normal. Hopefully I can get rid of some of my bloating before my TOM . I didn't weigh today. When I woke up I looked puffy. That's all I needed to see LOL

Morning All!

Congrats Alie & LC! wow LC you are really dropping.

Rotten: Looks like you are doing great! I had to look up the difference between coconut oil and cream. Here are the stats for 1 tablespoon:

Oil: 116 cal, 14g fat, 0 carb, 0 protein
Cream: 158 cal, 15g fat, 6 carb, 2 protein

Looks like you may run into some carb trouble- maybe heavy cream instead? Mary & the other ladies know better than me though!

Alie: I have not been losing for days so I am also going to try 1500 cals this week and see what happens! Good Luck to both of us I hope!

Mary: Happy Official Anniversary! You are SO lucky you don't get hungry!!!! The CO is making my metabolism go through the roof so I am starving!

Hi Hawaii, I'm going to try 1500 for 2 days, if this fails I am going up to 1800 cals for 2 days. I'm either not eating enough or eating too much. I'm anxious to see what happens. All I know is my pants are falling off!

Doctor's office isgood Christina. i am hoping they will help you get a little extra help.

I've decided to gohigh this 2 days, instead of low. So I hit 2000 cals! Mostly fat. Ughh! But I'm experimenting this week... so tomorrow I will try to hit 1800. If the weight doesn't start moving a little quicker I'm going to go low (1500).
Keep you all posted!

Thanks everyone for your help re the coconut cream, seems the carb damage may be too great.

I am struggling to get the fats without too much protein. As I have said Im limited by what I can get at camp so focusing on boiled eggs, lettuce, cucumber and big gloomps of egg mayo. Fingers crossed this is ok

I fly home Friday night so will have my weigh in Sat morning, if there is no loss I suspect you guys will hear me all the way around your side of the globe!!

ty Maria, yup pretty much to answer ur question.....ur carbs go up and ur probably insulin sensitive so that = hunger
so then ur probably salt/sodium sensitive also

Okay so you are going high Alie...I am very curious to see how it goes!

I went low- trying to stay around 1500

Today's Menu:
B: Coffee, HWC, Fat Bomb
L: Hamburger Patty w/Cheddar, Mayo & Mustard on Romaine
D: 2 Eggs w/ HWC, Bacon & Cheddar
S: 1 Piece of Kevinpa's Stuffed Meat Loaf Roll (OMG SO GOOD)

Cals: 1581, Fat: 140.3 (80%), Carbs: 10.3, Protein: 70

Good Luck everyone- Whooshes for all!

I was going to go low but a lady at work I have been coaching told me to take the medicine I've been dishing her and go high.

Todays results- no gain, no loss. This goes to show you that eating a ton of fat does NOT make you gain.

I admit, I feeltt icky lastnight. That many cals and fat was just too much. Today my goal is to cut by 100-150 cals and see what tomorrow brings.

Let me know how you did at 1500!!

Morning All!

Okay Alie so here is the skinny...(pun intended )

I had crept up to 153 and was holding for days...my weigh in this morning: 152. I'm SO happy to have a drop finally!

1 pound gone. Yay! I will stay on 1500 all this week and see if the trend continues...

BTW!!!

I talked my Mom into doing this with me! She started 4 days ago and has lost 2 pounds!!! She is dropping faster than me! We went shopping yesterday and I filled her cart telling her just what to eat- and took out any nono foods.

She is an AMAZING cook- so stay tuned for some scrumptious new recipies. (I will be watching her like a hawk and making sure the food stats fit us. )
