Christina, another resource is your physician's office. They should be able to make quick your medical records to qualify for disability; they also know the state resources for other support, such as with utilties reduction, food assistance, and job lines. You may qualify for work at home programs too, there are many options that folks don't know about, because you were busy taking care of your family...which I realize all of us prefer not to rely on others/government....but when you need it, that's what you and H have paid into the tax system to have as a net. Legal Aid is always a valuable option as well, which lawyers don't fall into my fav ppl; but if you need them...get one.

Last week was down and up and stall and wasn't going to weigh myself because of these meds but I couldn't help it. New virgin weight of 194.25lbs! That's 2lbs gone since last Monday so I'm super pleased! I am now officially light enough to go on a sky dive!!!

Hi All,

I was not able to get nearly enough water into me yesterday and did not eat as I usually do because I was out of the house all day running.

I am up .6 this morning but know this is simply due to too much sodium and eating slightly too much protein. Expect new virgin wieght tomorrow!

Congrats to everyone!!!!!!

I have absolutely no loss this morning which I kind of expected. I am up .8 from my lowest weight yesterday. I should lose that and maye a tiny bit more throughout the day. After losing 1.6lbs Saturday and .8lbs yesterday I'm not surprised my body is trying to reset I ate the same thing yesterday as the two days before but I added a can of green beans for fiber so I am going to try not doing that today and see what happens just in case but I don't think that did anything to me .

Good Morning! Thank you for the welcome!

Yes I am planning to start today. I went to the store and bought the groceries I need last night...wow that coconut oil is so good. I made the warm chocolate pudding I have seen on another thread for dinner last night. Coconut Oil and chocolate- yum!

I woke up this morning and have lost 1 pound since yesterday: 151!

Must be that coconut oil!? I hadn't really lost yet and I started induction a few days ago. This is so awesome!

I will keep you guys updated on how it works for me. Yay!

That is so great!!! You just wait until tomorrow after you have done the plan all day! You should get a good whoosh those first 3 days were amazing. Well actually all of these loss days are amazing but after being stalled so long and losing like that the first 3 days I was in shock LOL. Here is a list of stuff I always keep in my house for this plan for your reference

Coconut oil
Macadamia nuts
Butter
Eggs
Hamburgers
Cheese
Heavy whipping cream
Almond milk
Liquid Splenda
Pure wheat bran
Unsalted green beans
Sauce that is low or no carb and low or no protein

Those are my staple foods

Hi, today was not a good one. I forgot my lunch and then had to eat at my in laws but though I stayed on the right foods it was hard to gage portion etc. After recording in fit day... my proteing was a percentage ot two over what I like to see. I suspect not loss tomorrow. Man! I hate a wasted day!! I do not like eating out because it messes me up.

Oh well... I need to be patient.

Hope all is going well in your end of the world!

Another pound gone! New virgin weight of 193.25lbs

I had hot dogs, eggs and turnip fries for dinner last night and thought - there's no way I'm losing eating this!

Well done all on your losses and hope you all get whooshes today!!

I became an Auntie for the first time late last night and I've suddenly become even more broody than usual, damnit!!

Congrats on all your losses! Whoot Whoot!

So weighed in - not up and not down. I'll take it considering the kind of day yesterday was. I need structure and feel lost without it. I'm in good spirits today! Breakfast- check. Lunch- Check! Supper - check. And tomorrow is a new day!

CCake- congrats Auntie!

P.S. Made my almond milk a little different today and wanted to share.
1 cup almond milk
2 tbs coconut milk
1 tbs whipping cream
1 tsp of lemon extract

Nice change - I think you'll like it.

I'll check back soon. Wishing you whooshes!

Morning! Congrats on the losses...and to Auntie Gail.

Okay well today is my first weigh day- I lost 1 pound: 150! Not quite sure what you guys consider a whoosh but that sure feels like one to me.

Yesterday had moments of feeling queasy and moments of starving, but mostly felt fine. Not sure I like all that oil in my coffee...Would Alie's Almond Milk replace that step?

Mary: Thank you for the food list! I need all the help I can get. I was wondering...are there any foods considered "free" on this diet?

Alie: You stayed on the right foods and you didn't gain- that is a good day too! I run into this problem often- I am back in the dating game and seeing a great guy. Problem is dating means going out. Sure it's fun- but staying on track is really hard.

p.s. That milk sounds yummy!

On board for another day- Good Luck Everyone!

Ccake, congrats on the loss and being an Aunt!!

Allie, that is great that you staid the same! It's especially nice when you feel like you are going to gain but don't

Georgia, you are losing great!!! Everyone's whooshes are different so whatever you consider a whoosh is a whoosh LOL. Basically if it's fast loss for you it's a whoosh in my book you can eat 2 servings of macadamia nuts instead of the coffee with coconut oil. Ido that mostly now because I got tired of the coconut oil. There isn't really any free food for me since I try to keep my calories around 1,700 now but if you are starving and need more food stick with fat and no more protein if possible. I think most of us felt kind of icky and hungry on day one but that will pass and inthe mean time you can up fat to make sure you feel full. Once you get use to this woe and figure out exactly what you need to eat to lose you shouldn't ever feel hungry I started this plan eating about 1,900 calories a day and lost really well. I have only tried reducing calories the last 4 days

Thank you Mary! You are an awsome and fearless leader.!

AlieKatt may I ask you a question?

I am in my 40's as well and also fairly short. So I am thinking I should eat fewer calories than young, tall (beautiful) Mary!

Would you mind sharing with me how many calories, grams of fat, carbs and protein you have found works for you?

Really appreciate all the help and support here!

Hi Georgia!

I've discovered each of us is different. I lose just as quickly if not more so than some of the others despite my age.
Having experimented (that s key) with ******.com I have noticed anything under 1600 cals and I stall and anything over 1800 slows me or stalls me. I have found what my body likes.

Thank you you are too kind. I agree with Allie about everyone being different. It took us all probably about a week to figure out what to do exactly. I would start with calories a little higher than you think and see what happens and then if you feel like you are going too slow drop calories some.

Thank You Alie for the info and the recipe- WOW those look to good to be true.

I will keep my calories high. It's just so hard to break the mental barrier and eat fat- especially since I have avoided it most of my life...as anorexic from 15 to 21. Then after my first baby I went 100% the other direction.

It feels scary!

I will stay on track though, I have lost 2 pounds in the last two days so this can't be wrong- right!?

ALSO after just 2 1/2 days I can't believe how much better my mood is- I feel unusually happy and have been sleeping like a rock.

Love it.

It was hard for all for me to accept too- I was terrified! But after a week of tweaking to get it right I couldn't argue the results. It works. Period.
Fat bombs are the bomb! You're gonna love them!

I am sorry you had to contend with anorexia. As much as food has been an issue for me, I can't imagine your struggle. So happy you have made it through!
