I am sure you will do well today- Jeanie. ITA, the pounds add up so FAST!!!

Will have my lunch/early dinner at 2:00 PM. I am not really hungry but I have to leave the house to run some errands. Very simple- 1/2 lb baked wild salmon. If I am hungry in the evening I may have some lamb burgers. But it looks like my late lunch/early dinner is keeping me full.

131.8 this morning. Thanks goodness is coming down!!!

I was not hungry last night even thought I ate at 2 PM. This is definitely IF without consciously doing it. The fasting is for 16 hrs from dinner till breakfast.

This morning I had a nice BAB with 67 gr of protein (3 lamb burgers and 1 egg)
I feel good with almost zero carbs and will keep it this way till I really start missing veggies.

2:00 PM lunch/dinner- leftover 1/2 lb baked salmon and 2 cups of lettuce with little lemon juice. Hunger is under control. Don't think I need dinner.

Jeanie- how are you doing today?

Jeanie - try the BAB, it really makes a big difference.

Been doing well. Yesterday evening I was not hungry so I skipped the dinner again. I did have 4 blackberries when I was prepping dinner for DH. The season is so short and I figured my hormones are OK now to handle it. They did not cause any cravings.

Got up late today and had my breakfast at 9 AM. I had 2 juicy lamb shoulder chops with lots of garlic and marjoram (yummy). It is hard to measure the chops with the bones and I think there was about 1/2 lb of meat after removing the bones, so the protein count was about 50 gr.

It looks like the breakfast is the largest meal of the day for me. It is working great so far and I pray it continues like this throughout my whole menstrual cycle. The real test will come in 2-3 weeks

I have yet to read the Brain Over Binge. Maybe this weekend I can finally get to it.

Scale this morning was down to 130.6 (I am not updating my stats on the left cause I hate this number)

I got up at 7:30 and planned to eat by 8:30, but went for a walk/jog instead. I just couldn't eat! What I am going to do after I shower is eat a BABrunch ha ha. Maybe this will help me ease in to eating in the morning again as I have never been one to eat breakfast. If I fast like you are I should start waking up hungry.

I am so glad it's working for you Marika!

129.6 today I am really happy that the weight came down nicely. I am still 4 lbs away from my lowest number.

D1: 137.8
D3: 133
D4: 131.8
D5: 130.6
D6: 129.6

Yesterday I ate lunch at 2:30 PM (3 lamb burgers on 6 oopsie rolls with mayo and lettuce) and no dinner.

Today
B: 3 lamb burgers and 1 egg
L: egg salad on oopsie rolls
D: ?

Looks like my daily calories are only between 800-1000. I know that's pretty low but the BAB is really suppresing my hunger.

129 today

B: 3 lamb burgers, 2 HB eggs with mayo (73 gr protein)
L: skipped
D: 10 oz baked salmon

Since my BAB protein was 73 gr I was able to skip lunch.

How are you doing Jeanie??

You're doing great Marika! I am doing well the last couple of days, not doing BAB though.
Still waiting to hear if I got the job. One of my references said they called her with questions about me, so I hope that is a good sign.

Doing well. I am hungry today though because my mouth and jaw are too sore to eat much. I cracked a tooth on a pork chop bone and had to get a temporary crown today.

128 this morning- great to see the scale still going down. I am updating my stats on the left now

B: 12 oz baked salmon (67 gr protein)

Yesterday I did not eat my late lunch/early dinner that I usually have between 2-3 PM. I ate at 5 PM (because I did not bring any lunch with me to work). I was not feeling very hungry all day but when I sat down to eat my dinner at 5 PM I felt very hungry. I had to make 3 eggs after I finished my dinner and was still hungry but I drank water and that helped.
Today, I had a late breakfast (and a big one too ) so probably will not get hungry till early afternoon. It looks like I can go for 6-7 hrs after BAB but then I really need to eat right away. I am still experimenting with this, but it looks like lunch/dinner early afternoon (between 2-4) is ideal. Not always easy though depending on my schedule.

For lunch I will have turkey breast on a bed of lettuce with some hard boiled eggs.

I got the job! Better start time too 8:30am vs. 6:30am, now I may try the BAB. I will only work until noon, so I am thinking I could go to the Y and workout since I shouldn't need a lunch then just have an early dinner. I get a free Y membership for working there in the preschool 5 mornings a week!

128 Wow! I bet you look great. How tall are you?

Cograts on the job 8:30 is great! Nice that you can use the Y for working out.

I am 5' 4"

Lunch was as 2:30 and when I got home I ate 2 oz of baked salmon at 7 PM.

128.4 (up 1/4 lb)

B: 3 lamb burgers, 2 fried eggs
L: haddock and salmon

had a small binge after lunch and I feel awful!!!! I think PMS/ovulation is around the corner AGAIN. Oh, I am already terified by this. I had some black berries, cherries, yogurt and walnuts. Have to get back on track tomorrow. I wish I did not have this stuff at home. I need to make my DH take all these goodies with him to work
I thought by eating high protein I wont crave this stuff again. Maybe it was one day.
I NEED TO STAY STRONG and get back on track.
I don't think I will have any dinner tonight.

I stepped on the scale this morning to keep myself accountable, I am 130 I know it is hormonal and carb water weight.

B: 2 large lamb shoulder chops

I am preparing my food for today so that there are no excuses. I don't know if I can adhere to leptin principals of eating every 5 hrs. I think for now it is better to have some protein if I am getting the desire to have carbs and don't worry about the timing. I will see how it goes. Will try my best and forget the rest

I AM NOT GOING TO EAT ANY CARBS, THEY ONLY MAKE ME FEEL GOOD FOR FEW MINUTES AND THAN I FEEL LIKE CRAP.

I DON'T WANT MY HARD EFFORTS TO DISAPPEAR IN FEW MINUTES

I AM STRONGER THAN CARBS AND I AM IN CONTROL OF WHAT GOES INSIDE MY BODY.

IT IS NOT HEALTHY TO LOSE AND GAIN THE WEIGHT. TO LOOSE TAKES 10 TIMES LONGER TO GAIN- JUST NEED TO KEEP THIS IN MIND

I AM GOING TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER (EVEN THOUGH I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT)

I AM GOING TO WIN THE WAR WITH MY HORMONES.

Be back later to report successful day

I am trying a new experiment. This goes against leptin reset rules, but hey anything is better than stuffing myself all day with fruits, nuts, nut butter, honey and more honey. I am only going to do this till TOM arrives.
So here how it goes:
I am going to eat every 3 hours some protein (whether I am hungry or not). This way (I hope) my belly will be so full that no carbs will appeal to me. I know that excess protein turns in to glucose but it is still better than carb glucose. So today I had breakfast at 8 AM with lamb chops. At 11 AM (even though I was not hungry) I ate egg/salmon and mayo salad on 4 oopsie rolls. I am staying carb-free (except for the carbs in eggs). Next meal will be at 2 and 5 PM. I will be drinking plenty of water and taking my homeopathic remedy. I am going to kick this carb monster out of my system. I have suffered enough Will update later with results.

I think the carb monster heard the warning about eating every 3 hrs and got scared of all the potential protein coming his way. I did not eat since 11 AM and it is now 5 PM and I am not hungry at all. I think the second meal (at 11 AM) with high protein did the trick, or maybe it is homeopathic med I took this morning. I am very happy

Glad your plan worked for you. Nothing feels better than staying in control! I bet you will be back to 128 tomorrow or the next day easily.

I am doing well staying on plan. Decided against the BAB, I just have no interest in food until at least noon and what I am doing is working right now anyway. I am aggravated at how slooowly the weight comes back off after going off plan, but no choice other than to keep on keeping on.

Have not been posting as I am struggling again big time. My PMS started on day 10 of my cycle this time. Thank you mother nature. I am eating all the carbs under the sun and have 2-3 weeks before TOM arrives. I don't know what to do anymore. I think I will try the l-glutamine (even though I am scared of naturally occuring MSG in it).

Hi Marika
I hope the L-glutamine helps. I think sometimes our cycle goes haywire when we are losing fat, so hopefully yours will balance out?? I have not been doing too great either most days.
Just keep on trying is all we can do.

All of the sudden the carb monster left this morning and I hope for good. I got up this morning with normal appetite. It is 2:30 now and no binging. I hope this sticks and it is not just a tease. Still 2 weeks till TOM so I really have to try to be in control. PLEASE PLEASE HORMONAL CARB MONSTER - STAY AWAY

I am so sad that all my hard efforts vanished in just few days. I did so well with leptin reset but unfortunately this only lasted 10 days because of my hormones. Right now I am just happy to be without cravings and will start my journey again.

I don't know how do I get the eating ouf of control. It is feels like someone else was feeding me (some stronger force). CARBS are DEVILS. I think they are like drugs. I can understand drug addicts and alcoholics. I feel like carbs control me, like they give me high. Crazy stuff!!! I go for 1 bite of fruit and than there is no coming back for me. I have to keep on stuffing myself. Oh, I hate this feeling...
I have yet to buy the l-glutamine. I think I will do this this weekend along with chromium.

today' s eats (so far):
B: 2 eggs
L: egg salad on oopsie rolls
D: maybe haddock or large salad

Went for 30 min walk this morning (after a long time)
