Hey sweetie. I'm so sorry you are struggling! Relieved they found no heart involvement though!!!

You know, are you taking any otc stuff? Any herbals or anything? It really sounds like it could be a couple of things:

1. Low blood pressure (Maybe try making a bone stock with good fats in it and a healthy pinch of sea salt.)

2. Low magnesium (Soak in magnesium salts.)

3. Toxins of some sort - like poison.

Remember, we talked about dopamine along with the norepinephrine stuff!!! IF you take any antis at all, make sure it is one that acts on all the systems SSRI, Norepi, Dopamine, etc.

I just read something about people who get shocks alot and have a feeling of electrical zips have an electrolyte imbalance and once that is fixed, they feel better. But I can't for the life of me remember where I read it! I will go look for it again.

I want you to start feeling better hon!!! MUAH!

Tiggy, I was extatic to hear from you this morning! You need to give maybe Amber a phone number or one of your friends numbers or email or SOMETHING in case you go dormant again! We were so worried!

As for the memory/brain thing..... I dont know if you are using VCO right now on any type of regular basis. Just read where 2.5 T a day has the same amount of MCT as a new experimental medicine for ALZ. I read where it (MCT) IMPROVES the cognitive part of the brain (dont know right term but you get the idea) within even a week in some patients. It was not the study I read as they are too techy for me but an article by a PHD in nutrition that I respect. I have been using VCO for about 8 months I my brain is starting to work like a younger version of this 33X2 lady.

Just a thought for you..... Worth a try! I love coconut & I think it is prolly hanging around your house somewhere....

Tig, so glad you went to the doctor, but the tingling doesn't sound good. Is there a screening for MS?

There doesn't appear to be any screening for MS until you've had 2 separate symptom bouts. Probably cos its an MRI usually and they are spendy. I know amber - MS looks like bloody everything and I am in that age group. BUT I am not worried so much, it just kept cropping up and freaking me out haha.

Good ideas poot - thanks so much darling. You know what. I have a sneaky feeling (and I could be totally wrong) that its the mould that is in the walls due to the neighbor building a raised garden against my room. I mixed up bleach and water and sprayed the life outta the walls a couple of days ago. Which was about the time I started to feel a bit better. Might be, might not be, but why not right?

The low blood pressure is what I though as well but the doc was like its low normal. And I know i get freaked out BP's at the docs so for it to be that low was weird. I have been making some bone broths from chicken and I use natural salt (never seen beef bones but surely they have em somewhere). I actually eat a TON of salt -can't get enough of it here but probably because of the climate and sweating.

Been using VCO but not much this last week as hunger is about nil. It is great stuff though!

So good news, starting yesterday morning I felt a lot more human. About 50% good. Thats a lot better than 0% good. Had a 17 hour sleep which helped I'm sure. Walking is easier although still a bit wobbly later in the day. Even made some nice tomato soup - was strong enough to stand for 10 minutes and cut veggies. Mind fog is clearing a bit thank god. That part was wicked annoying!!! Worse than the non functional legs.

More good news, since I have close to 0 appetite, the scale is going a nice direction. Worried a bit about muscle loss as I haven't been eating much protein (outta chicken and eggs are just not appealing atm). Oh well. Down to 252 this am and I expect to see a lower number tomorow as well.

Sooo, on the mend. Hopefully tomorow I will feel well enough to tackle my university assignment that was due last monday haha. Proff gave me an extention though so no worries.

I never thought about mold... very strong possibility... I would continue to spray the walls bleach is ok but white vinegar also works full strenght... I personally use bleach water...

After 24 years I finally got the active mold out of my house & replaced the carpet in all the rooms... I feel like I breathe better now...

that you are feeling better :jumpjoy!

I'm so glad you're starting to improve a bit Tiggy! The symptoms sounded so awful that when you went away for a bit I think we all got concerned. Good news about the assignment being extended - impossible to think much at all when you're sick.

I know all about looking up symptoms online. Ages ago I ended up seeing a neurologist who told me I have non-classic migraines when I was sure it was either a brain tumor or MS. Years later I read an article that talked about types of migraines and I had to finally admit he was right because there was ALL the non-headachy tingling and numbness and motor difficulties etc that I get.

The mould does sound like a real problem even if it isn't the main cause of this illness!

Oh yeah! I second the mold!!! Can you get out of there and move to a new place? I know it's a hassle. But mold is deadly sweety!!!

A very broad basic test about MS is Eosinophyll counts. You normally don't have so many of them. I think it's 0-7 for most labs. Eos are part of the white cell count and will be very high if you have allergies or autoimmune. Other tests are also related to allergies like IgG and IgE.

Love you!

Cammie TBH it was serious, to me at least. I was on the verge of getting on a plane back home, not that i have a home anywhere now haha. It scared the crap outta me.

Oh poot is being smart again. Didnt know there was an easy test for it.

Yup it could be the mould/mildew stuff, or might not be. Can't get a diff place, might as well just go home poot cos double rent is not in my budget . Could move rooms though.

Had a nice relapse last night and was feeling that yucky dizzy lets not attached again but this is my new normal so i'm kinda getting used to it.

OOhhhhhhhhhhh Good news!!

249.8

Need I say more?

248.9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

At least there is an upside to being sick and having 0 appetite. I am still eating, but not a heck of a lot and its pretty low cal. Had some yummy homemade spicy tomato soup, and 3 eggs yesterday. Didn't feel like anything else. Its really weird.

Although of course I don't see the changes in my clothes, its kinda surreal to think I'm under 250 again. That in not that many more lbs (ok 60 may be a lot to some of you but to me thats feels close after being 330) to being at my first goal and looking smoking hot.

Tired today so not making the journal rounds but I am thinking of ya all.

Tig- yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gettig under that 250 mark is huge, and that is 80 pounds woman, that is a lot of weight you have stuck to it and it is working. Sorry you are not feeling well yet, maybe something will get you better soon, but hey, weight loss is a good side effect!!!

OK I am island bound so take care of the badgers for me!!!!! And get better!!!

Not to condone illness, but...

Just a suggestion, but my mom was telling me today that she used to have to get vitamin B12 shots because her levels were so low it made her tired/groggy/dizzy and "mentally cloudy". Apparently it's a fairly common problem. It's worth a try if you're still feeling crappy.

Tiggy, all this stuff just doesn't sound good at all. I call baloney on the depression diagnosis. I know deficits in many different things can cause a lot of these symptoms (thyroid, vit d, iron, vit b, etc) They dont usually just come right out of the blue though. It is usually a slow buildup of the symptoms till they get so bad you realize there is a problem. The mold could be a problem but they usually cause a lot of allergy type symptoms. Are you experiencing them? I know you had a rash, how about bronchial inflammation? I would A) Paint your walls with a barrier paint. Something that blocks moisture, etc and b) MOve to a different room (which you also paint) CHANGE mattresses!!! or at least buy a plastic cover for yours and enclose it. Just on the off chance that it is the mold but really, although at first my reaction was "oh yeah, that's it" Now that I think about it, I am not so sure. I would remove yourself to the farthest room from that problem though just to test the theory, even if it means sleeping in the kitchen!
I am so sorry this is going on for you. I so understand your statement about your mind. When I was going through the whole problem with my thyroid and other deficiencies I felt so scared and lost! To not be able to think clearly is frightening! I still do not have the clear head I had before and it's not a good feeling.
Nothing worse than going to a doc and having them dump it all into the depression catagory. Too easy dude...why not reach a little deeper
I hope to hear good news soon. I have been thinking about you. All but losing my internet connection for over a week was NOT a good thing. SO you are playing on my server eh? What is your ingame name? Havent been around with the internet problems But it is fixed now

And let's not forget WOOOOT! *happy dance* UNDER 250!!! YOU GO GIRL
