yes I am, thanks for checking in.

I haven't had such a busy weekend in a while and it kind of threw me off. Just with time and organization. I stayed on plan so I'm good there. I went walking on the beach yesterday and got enough exercise to last at least 2 days. LOL!

Yesterday's Menu:

B- coffee, eggs w/ cheese
L- chicken and salad (lettuce, grape tomatoes, nuts and blue cheese dressing)
D- munched on deli meat - not really hungry

I was busy helping a friend with a story and didn't cook or have the desire to eat leftovers. Eh, I'll do better.

Today(Tuesday's ) Menu:

B- coffee and eggs w/ cheese
L- will be chicken and salad ( bacon bits, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, nuts and blue cheese dressing. )

Dinner...well.... I have some chicken to make Chicken Renee, but don't know if I'll be home too late to make it. I was thinking of stopping at the Health food store and I take hours in there. Maybe I'll make a list. ( I have a small obsession with lists).

I have tomorrow off it's a holiday here, one of the few where I get a day off. No plans to go out. Have a ton of work to catch up on though. I waste time here sometimes. and being able to work in jammies makes it better somehow.

I want to make some food too. Kids might come home. Some flax muffins, cream cheese muffins, they requested jello fluff and I'll have to get some dinners ready too.

Thanks for being so encouraging Dani, I really and truly appreciate it.

Well, I didn't go to the health food store. I called my mom and was so distracted, I missed the exit. I ended up at Wal-mart. Still have a few things I want to get so I'll go tomorrow.

Enjoying my day off, read some fanfic, caught up on Drop Dead Diva on Netflix, now I only have Season 4 when it's available.

Right now I'm looking at different recipes for today, tomorrow and Friday.

I did make the chicken Renee last night and it is yum yum. I mean chicken, bacon and cream cheese. What's not to like?

Today's menu:

07/25

B- coffee and flaxseed muffin
L chicken salad
D-zucchini lasagna

Tomorrow is weigh-in day. I hope I lost at least a pound. I feel like I'm losing slower than other times, but I'm feeling better than ever.

I didn't really get the induction flu besides the getting tired. A week and a half on plan so far.

I'm slacking on the exercise. Ugh, this is always my downfall. I will go to the track tomorrow.

Thanks ladies. You guys are the best.

I'm slacking with the accountability and that just won't do. I was trying to not go over on my Internet usage on my cell, but since I already did, there are no more excuses on coming in here.

Friday Menu:

B- cream cheese muffin and coffee

L- small portion of chicken salad and small bowl of homemade chicken and broccoli soup

D- rotisserie chicken w/ cucumbers

First time making the soup. Although I put it through the food processor, it was too grainy. The flavor was fantastic. I'll have to buy an Immersion blender soon. We like our soups puree like most of the time. But this recipe is a winner.

Again, I mega stink with the exercise. Track was closed yesterday. I could have done a dvd, but I watched the Olympic opening ceremony instead.

Wish I could eat broccoli. It makes me blow up like a beach ball so I stay far away from it

No, you don't mega stink at anything. Just maybe kinda stinky. JUST KIDDING!!!! I watched the opening ceremonies too, I love the Olympics. In fact, I was so immersed in it last night forgot about my walk until 10pm! Yep, I was out there til after 11.

Have a great day Sweets!

I went to the track today. I couldn't complete it since it started to pour. But Only like 5 minutes so it's still cool. I did some jumping jacking to complete. lol!

I'm having issues with dinner. I haven't been hungry and when I am, all I want are small things. Ketosis? I sure hope so.

I ate salty, salty today.

B- coffee and flaxseed muffin with PB on top
L- tuna w/ mayo and salad - lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds and bacon bits
S- turkey pepperoni and cheese
D- cheese chips and ham steak

Just something that I might want to read again sometime.

I went into walgreens to buy a lip stain that I saw an ad of. It was on sale so why not? I thought I'd check out the moisturizers since mine is almost empty and I'll need to buy a new one next week. I use Olay regenerist and it was on sale, so I was thinking *coughconvincingmyselfcough* of getting it.

One of the girls from the makeup counter recommended another brand (cheaper than Olay - it's a generic - forgot the name at the moment) but she thinks it would be really good for me and we got to talking about rosacea. I have a mild case, but I HATE it. Especially living on an island where it's hot ALL THE TIME!!!! I was honest and said I used BE, but was thinking of changing things up for a while. Plus, I'm almost out. I want a bit more coverage. We went with Revlon Colorstay. On sale and I've heard good things about it. I got the foundation, pressed powder and 2 lip stain/balms all for about $5 more than my BE. We'll see.

I've also been trying BB cream (garnier) I'll check on the weekend how it works with the Revlon pressed powder.

Trying new things is all part of my goals for the next 6 weeks. I'll share more once I organize my thoughts.

I'm sharing my makeup/skincare stuff, because when I get all emo instead of turning to food, I concentrate on buying/wearing and looking at makeup and makeup tutorials. All part of the process of acceptance and to make an appearance to all the activities I have this year.

Also, in 2013, my baby graduates high school and i turn 40 so my emotions are going strong.

Thinner and less wrinkly are goals to look forward to

I went to the track last night.

For dinner, I made the cheapo chicken cakes & stir fried chopped cabbage ( in the food processor) with a bit of soy sauce. It looked like rice. (Not really, but let's pretend) the flavor was good and the combination with the chicken was great.

I had leftovers for lunch.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, onions and tomatoes that I bought at the food truck near work. And black coffee.

I'm trying something so it's black coffee for a few days.

I haven't decided on dinner for tonight, but I'm going to the track with my neighbors. We all want to lose weight although I have to lose about twice what they do. But hey, it's support. I'll take it.

Cheapo Chicken Cakes

2 10 oz cans of chicken
2 tablespoons onions - finely chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 egg
Pinch salt
Pinch pepper
1/4 cup oil

Break the chicken up into very small bits.
Squeeze all of the moisture out of the meat.
Mix all of the ingredients and shape in 4 patties.
I used my hands to shape each pile into a patty.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry the patties 4-5 minutes per side, flipping carefully, until
golden brown on each side.

Makes 2-4 servings
Can be frozen

*Original recipe is BRUCE'S POOR MAN'S CRAB CAKES* I just adapted it to suit my needs/tastes, but giving credit where credit is due.

This works for any canned meat. I've used salmon, tuna and chicken.
