Yea I figured the weight is due to yesterday doing Zumba for an hour and sweating like a piggy! + the walk so no worries, it is what it is. Enjoy your day!

Thank you Pati, how are you? I am smaller than I was but being a shorty a have a way to go. I do like how everything fits me better however and I am loving that. The inches lost on the Protocol is nothing to scoff at as well as the lbs. released. Like I said before, if I could do something with this hanging stuff I have all over I would be one happy camper. I did get another sports bra from when I jump around with Zumba so no one can here my flippity, flappity of me under arms and back fat. Oh well, it is what it is I still myself flippity, flappity and all. Have a nice day Pati.

I find it quite interesting how we all see ourselves!

I too am short (5' 2" inches short to be exact) and I have always felt my very best at 175 lbs regardless of what the doctors charts may say. I am sure at that at my height I would be better at 150, heck even 125 but in all honesty, I have always felt 175 to be a good size for me (I'm curvaceous ) I do however lift weights (heavy lifter) (altho' I've been slacking lately but that too will change now) so our 175s may not look the same

It's just totally interesting to me!! BTW - that's my goal (175)...

I am also 5'2 Pati and in High School weighed around 140-145 lbs. and everyone thought I was heavy. I was very athletic and actually am a large frame according to the fingers around your wrist idea. If you look at a chart according to that I think the heighest for my height would be up to 142 and as little as 125 lbs. Who knows, as you said we need to be happy where we are in weight and actually I know I need to lose more. When I married hubby over 24 years ago I was 135 lbs. and wore a size 8-9. I dieted right before the wedding and of course was nervous and sick to my stomach planning the wedding so I guess some weight was lost because of that. I am a totally different person now, I am 50 years old and had 2 kids so not sure what this body will weigh in the end of trying to lose. I guess my goal would be where I was before I got married but I will just take it one day at a time to see where I look and feel best.

So sweet of you to say that Pati. Really when you get ready for menapause things do change. I try to encourage alot of you youngins' to get the weight off when you can because believe you me, things start to shift and droop. I am better now than I have been in a long time that's for sure. I am a work in progress.

Ah Blonde all of our faiths do that from time to time. I know we will all be in a better place as long as we never give up and never surrender to the belief that this is as good as it gets and allow our health and body to go back to where we started. I was miserable and unhappy most of the time, no jolly fat girl here so that keeps me motivated. Better to try than to not try at all right?

Yes Blonde, you got exactly what I meant about my knee caps. I can see them without all the extra fat around them. They actually protude out further and I can feel the muscles around them and that is a good thing. I have had a bad right knee for awhile, actually since the beginning of the year and that is when I said that "enough is enough" and got back into exercising. My legs are so much stronger and I feel great about that. I like to sit here at my computer and rub my hands over them, I am not weird trust me. Oh well, it's the little things in life that seem to make me happier these days. Really I am just happy that my right knee is a ok now.

Too funny Shari. Yep my knees are lovely these days and I won't take them for granted anymore. Hated how my right knee felt before and it feels great now, healthy and strong. Have a nice Monday!

Hey, knee cap appreciation is important! I can't wait to have knees I can appreciate! I do appreciate a little piece of my arm, so that counts, right? I like to look at my delts in the mirror when I workout (which sounds totally ridiculous!).

I too would like to appreciate some small portion of my body! I'll take anything, although I've been told, I have cute feet. That's something right?

Hey Christine, that doesn't sound ridiculous at all!

I seem to appreciate anything I can get these days. Delts in the mirror, awesome.
