This is an ungodly stressful week, and I don't honestly see it letting up at the end of the week.
My store won a huge company award which entails us planing this huge meeting and dispersing the funds we won, which falls on me. No problem, I can do that as it's part of my job. What is stressing me is that my boss, who I really do adore, has lost her mind. First she wanted Carnivale dancers at the meeting, then she wanted a marching band. We have a set budget of $10,000 for this and most of that is spent on catering and lighting/AV equipment. Keep in mind this is a big deal and the Midwest VP as well as the owner of the company will be here! She turned to me the other day and asked me if I could get in touch with Drew Carey out of the clear blue sky. So, I had to figure out how to find and email his agent. She wanted Drew Carey because we are in Cleveland. No answer so far but I really don't expect one!

She is very much an "ideas" person and delegates the making of her ideas into reality my job, which again, is fine because that is my job. But her ideas have crossed the line into crazy town! I spend a large part of my day wrangling her right now, and it's exhausting.
The things I need her to focus on, she is waiting until the last minute, and the things we have time on she wants right now.

As another example of one of her ideas, she decided the day before Thanksgiving that I needed to come up with 350 pies for all the employees here. And she wanted them that day. She got a firm NO on that one!

Just venting. I don't think I will be losing anything this week

Well, after seeing last night's full moon, checking my calendar, and rereading my crabby post from yesterday, it seems that TOM will be paying a visit soon! HA!

Now I know why I feel so crabby!

Ha, Ceecee she kind of is.
Most of the time I can deal with her just fine, and she is always very appreciative of what I do. Just these last few days I want to pull my hair out!

She expects miracles! No wonder she stresses you!

How about Mimi? Kathy Kinney She wrote queen of your own life and does appearances. Google her book titled site and check the bottom of the appearances page for a link to contact her.

I made the most awful looking chicken last night - baked two chicken breasts with broccoli and cream cheese. I enpected the cream cheese to melt but it stayed in the little cubed I topped the whole thing with. Looked super bad, tasted really good!

I might try baking cream cheese on it's own, maybe topped with a little splenda. I REALLY loved the texture of the baked cream cheese.
Has anyone done this?

Ok, don't bake cream cheese.
I thought it might be similar to baked brie. It's not. Kind of awful really.

Newbie here
This just made my day. The things we do to come up with something new and good. I'm still making my way around, trying to find what suits me and my Atkins diet. Found this site through Netrition. Love, love, love it.

Lindy, welcome! Thanks for reading my journal

This site is amazing, and so very supportive. While my stats don't reflect as many losses as I would like, I know that this site has been instrumental in keeping me on track and accountable.
Plus, I have gotten to know wonderful people here!

No it was really bad Kitty!

The scale bounced back up on me - back up to 188.6, a gain of 2 pounds. I've been super stressed and not going to the potty on a regular basis, so I know that's the culprit.
Plus, I have been eating a lot more nuts than I should be.

Oh, my beloved cheese and cream ... I don't know what I would do without them!
The nuts, I do need to keep better control of. I LOVE walnuts, and justify it to myself that I should eat them as they are so high in fat - fogetting that they are also high in carbs.

I woke up today soooo swollen. My eyes and fingers, and well, everything is bloated. I'm drinking enough water to float away today and hope to get that gone soon!

I did manage to get in 1/10 Callanetics for march!

2/10 hours of Callanetics done this month!

I am super craving carbs today - close to TOM and it's a battle this month.
Lots of water to flush it all away!

I just noticed ths morning that I didn't have to struggle as much when putting my boots on for work. Before I would kind of blindly swing my boot and hopefully catch it with my foot. Today I was able to bend over and put my foot in and zip like a normal person
I don't know that I have lost any weight, but the Callanetics are helping me be more flexible for sure.

Hey Janet

Glad the callenetics are working for you. I started a couch to 5K program this week. I keep yelling at the lady on the app when she tells me to run, but other than that it's all good!

Totally ate off plan today.
We had a little celebration at work today, a lunch, and I was invited.
Becuase I have always claimed being gluten sensitive (one more way to deflect the LC questions) , they were kind enough to make sure I had gluten free garlic bread, and a gluten free dessert! So nice - I had to eat it

Back on plan for the rest of the day and I hope to have time to do Callanetics tonight.
