I just weighed myself before my shower and I'm at 174.4 the day after an UD! I think I might break this darn 174 curse and get below it after today's DD, keep your fingers crossed .

My DH does that too. I'm trying to put the computer down long enough to spend some time with him in the evenings except sometimes he's watching a show I don't care for or playing a game so that's my cue to do my own thing.

I take it you want a computer!?! I've tried using this site on my phone and get frustrated. My phone is not my friend lately.

Woo Hoo for good UDs. Keeping track does help, I worry that I miscalculate as it is, but when I don't count at all it spells trouble. KUTGW!!

I hope you had a good DD, mine was a little rough but I made it through. Ready to eat tomorrow, in moderation.

Have a good night Tanya.

Hi Tanya,

Wanted to check in with you and see what's going on today. What's on the agenda?

I can't imagine how frustrating it is to try to type on a phone. My phone is an old-fashioned one that doesn't even have those capabilities. Plus our computer, which still works basically, has some weird quirks (don't understand it all) that require attention periodically...like last night. BLAH.

My DH, like our computer, has quirks and requires attention more regularly. He does like to watch his stupid shows, and I don't---but I do sit in the same room and blog away so we are technically together during the evenings. The neat thing though is that we have been shutting off the TV more lately and playing family board games (Sorry, Clue, Settlers of Catan, etc.) more often.

I hope your day is going well, Tanya. I'll talk to ya later!

Hugs, Jenna

Hi Girls!

Drum roll please..... I weighed in at 173.9! I have been bouncing at 174.4 since the beginning of July. I think I could have been lower but I missed kickboxing last night. A friend of mine dropped DS 14 off and we ended up talking and talking and talking! So I missed class but that's ok I enjoyed our visit.

Yesterday afternoon my hubby came home from work and said"We're buying a computer, let's go". What?!? I no longer have to tap on my phone. So crazy that I was complaining about that and a couple hours later the problem was fixed!

I had to work today. Only four hours, but it's fast paced. It feels like you've worked eight!

UD has been good and I'm going to Pilates class tonight.

Jenna- We have a game night once a week. Our little guy loves it and it's a good way for us all to slowdown and reconnect.

Hope you all are having a great day! DH is making breakfast for dinner tonight. Woo who! No cooking for me tonight!

I'm going now to check on journals...

Yay for breaking past the 174!!!!!

I don't miss work. But it is nice to get out and change it up every now and then.

What a sweet hubby!! I'm so glad you don't have to use your phone anymore!

I think I need to set up game night at our house...everyone is usually doing their own thing, that would help us connect. Great idea!

Hope you had fun at Pilates.

Hello ,

I'm not feeling very energetic today. Good old TOM showed up today . I just want to crash out on the couch. I never do that!

So far I've had a good DD.

B- Coffee w/ hazelnut creamer

L- Small Asian Chicken Salad

S- Fiber One Brownie

D- Sautéed Vegetables

I'm getting my haircut tomorrow . Nothing new, just a trim. My friend does it. She has a mini salon in her home. I love having my hair washed, I can easily fall asleep in the chair

Now, I'm going to veg on the couch and watch Shark Week.

Have a great night, Everyone!

Hi Tanya,

Good to hear from you! Sorry you are not feeling tip-top with TOM in the neighborhood. That does happen. Hope you are feeling better soon. Take care of yourself...

I love having my hair done and especially washed. It feels so good, and it seems to take all of my troubles away. I have always loved it when anyone messes with my hair. Feels so relaxing. I hope you enjoy yourself!

Enjoy watching Shark Week. I used to be obsessed with sharks when I was a little girl, especially Great Whites. I knew all of the different kids and their characteristics. Have fun!

Hugs, Jenna

I LOVEEEEEEEE getting my hair washed...I would pay just to have them do it for me a couple times a week.

TOM really does a number on me every month, usually the first and sometimes a little on the second day. Last time it was the worst since HS but I hope that isn't always going to be the case. Hope you find your energy, but it's always nice to lounge around and take it easy too.

Shark week is awesome...I think we have that on Netflix.

Have a wonderful evening Tanya! Talk to you tomorrow.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to shout to the world that I am down to 172.6 ! After being stuck for over a month it's such a relief to see the scale move. Maybe it was all the exercise . I've backed off of that a bit and now I'm seeing new numbers. Whatever it is, I will take it!

I'll be back to post in journals later.

Have a great day everyone

Good Evening,

I wanted to check in. We went to a BD party for a friend of mine tonight. It was so fun . I ate ALOT. I can't even guess the calories because I don't even know what the food was or how it was prepared.

I did my Zumba class this morning and my knee felt ok. I danced ro a slower pace. I think that helped.

I'll check in with everyone tomorrow.

Goodnight.

Hi Tanya,

WAY TO GO with the scale! That is so awesome. I am happy for you!!!! Sometimes our losses are so slow that it's tough to be patient and just let it happen. For instance, I have been stuck for about 8 weeks. But when I really look back and be honest with myself, I see that I am slowly letting the carbs creep back in. I should be happy that I am maintaining, even if I am not losing. I think that you are doing great. It will continue to move downward.

I understand the eating too much thing. I did the same thing yesterday. I think as long as we get back on track, it's not a big deal.

What is going on with you today? Any big plans? Whatever you do, have a super great one...

Hugs, Jenna

Oh yea!!!! Go Tanya!!!

I wish I liked to exercise more, I've always wanted to be more active...maybe I need to move to a cooler area. Yeah right, I'd still be lazy.

I want to do Zumba, course our town is so small we don't have those kinds of classes here but I could always buy it for my Wii or XBox. I'm glad you're having a great time with all your exercising.

Hope you have had a lovely weekend. Can't wait to hear about how your day was today.

Good evening,

I had a long day of housework today. Lots of laundry. I was ADHD cleaning. I was jumping from one thing to the other and I couldnt seem to finish anything. I did sort through Skye's and little guy's clothes drawers. I have several bags for Goodwill. Now I really need to get my front closet organized. There are literally things falling on me when I open the doors! It's just jammed packed and overwhelming to think about cleaning.

Food was fine today and I'm looking forward to UD tomorrow .

If I don't have to work tomorrow I'm going to take a new sculpting class ( 1/2 hr) and then I'll take my DS14 with me on a hike. He is home on Mondays. He goes to a Charter school T, W, Th and then they have music on Friday. He's a freshman this year. I can't believe how fast he is growing up .

We're watching Hunger Games right now so I need to get off the computer.

Good Night All....

You sound like me now Tanya. My problem is I set out to do a couple things and get deeper into others in the process and don't finish what I originally set out to do. It's a relief once you get through all of it though.

Have you searched Facebook to see if they have some online yardsales in your area? Just type (into the search bar on the top) your city, or surrounding cities too, plus yardsale at after it and I'll bet something pops up.

How are you liking your new computer?

Sculpting sounds fun. I like to go to this place called Paint A Dream and it's so therapeutic and fun for me to sit and paint the pottery, plus you get to take it home and admire it in the end. I love artsy anything. Hope you have a good time.

Have a great UD Tanya!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm sitting here in Doctors on Duty waiting with DS17. He needs to get his sports physical so he can run cross country. These places take forever so I thought I'd whip out my phone and post my entry. Can't get away from this dang phone .

It's an UD and I indulged in my BK mocha coffee addiction . I have got to figure out a diet friendly substitute!

I'm going to try to get to Pilates tonight if I ever get out of this office.

Tomorrows my BDay. I'm meeting my parents for lunch and then God knows what my husband has cooked up. You never know with him. As long as I don't have to cook. I just realized I'll be extending my UD into tomorrow. I'm not having a DD on my birthday!

Karen- I tried looking in my area on FB for yard sales. I couldnt find anything . I'm going to ask some of my friends around here if they've ever heard of anything like it.

Hunger Games was really good even the second time around. I read the book too. I have to say I thought they did a pretty good job with the adaptation of the book. My DS 14 read the whole series, he loved it. I'm all for any series that gets my game freek son to open a book!

I'm going to go check on all of you

Tanya!!! I hope it's a wonderful day for you!! You deserve to have an UD for your birthday, I would do the same thing. You can go back to business tomorrow.

Sometimes there are just those certain foods that call your name and we must indulge a little on here and there. I wouldn't worry about the coffee, you've been losing even while drinking it anyways. I wish I could find a decent sub for my fave Starbucks drinks but they never come out the same way.

I really need to read that book, I'm sure DD11 will let me borrow hers or else I will never see the movie.

Sucks that you spent most of your evening at the doctors, at least it's done with and now DS17 is set and ready for cross country. The things we do for our kids.

Again, have a !!!!!

Hi Tanya,

Happy, Happy Birthday to you!!!! Can't wait to hear all of the festive events of your special day. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and I am so thankful to have you as a friend.

Glad that the doctor's trip is over with...the waiting for those things is ridiculous. I was just at my OBGYN's and waiting 2 1/2 hours for my annual appointment. At least you could type away!

Enjoy your fun UD---can't wait to hear about it.

Gotta run to go to school right now---I will check in with ya later. Have a very happy day~~~

Hugs, Jenna

Thank you so much for the Birthday Wishes ! It felt great to check in and read them.

I went to my sister's and had lunch with her and my parents. It was bitter sweet. I cried the whole drive home. I'm lucky I didn't get in a accident.

Tonight my husband is ordering in food (no cooking BD wish ) and this weekend I get a trip to the spa. I need it!

Again, Thank you

Gosh, that was kind of a downer post. The rest of my evening was nice. We had dinner and the boys cleaned up. They also brought me home balloons (DS7's idea) and several things of sugar free gum. The ice breakers brand, they're really good and my boys are always stealing them from my purse! Very cute because they paid for it all themselves .

Now I'm off to soak in the tub. Night everyone

Hi Tanya,

Sorry you had a tough afternoon. You are going through some really difficult times with your sister, aren't you? I just pray for peace for you and her and your whole family. I wish I had more enlightening words to share. Just keep loving her the way that you do...some things are just out of our control and that makes a heartbreaking situation even tougher. Hugs to you!

Glad you had a nice night though with the family and that you are headed to the SPA this weekend!! What sort of wonderful treats will you enjoy? Massage? Facial? All of the above? That is a great birthday gift.

Get some good, restful sleep and I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Hugs, Jenna

Hello Lovelies,

I had to work today in the Nutrition office. I thought I'd be safe from the food, being that I was not working in the kitchens today. Oh no! A prospective new bagel supplier came in and I had to taste test bagels and pastrys . Really ? So this week has not gone well for my DDs. Tomorrow I will have a succesful DD! I will be working in the nutrition office until next Tuesday. That will start all the lunch ladies to gossiping, I'm sure.

Life has been a little crazy with school starting for everyone. I haven't been able to squeze in any exercise classes this week. I had a meeting tonight during class and yesterday I was in the bay area during my morning class.

Our boys have the Monterey County Fair this next week. My job is to decorate our clubs board. It's a berry theme and I have the supplies I just have to get it done. My DH said he'd help me with it this weekend. Then there is all of the animal work to be done. I'm tired already !

Well I'm off to check your journals .

Hi Tanya,

I can't believe that you HAD to taste all of those tempting bagels and pastries for your job. That's crazy---I would have gone NUTS.

Sounds like you have a very busy week ahead. What animals do your boys show at the fair, or what kind of club is it that they are members of? I used to be in 4-H and show horses at the local county fair, as well as the state fair. It was one of the best experiences of my life, so positive and fun. I hope the boys and you have a great time.

Have fun on your DD!!!!

Talk to ya later---

Hugs, Jenna

Oh man that sucks when your plan is ruined. The good thing is we always can detox the next day, hope you're having a good DD so far.

I know what you mean about things getting crazy, now I actually miss summer break. That sounds like a lot of work...ever notice how school for our kids ends up actually making us parents work too!? I dread Science Fair time.

Well, I hope you find some "me" time soon, you sound like you could use it.

Have a wonderful DD!!

Hi Tanya!

Hope you've had a good day! It's almost the end of the week. Isn't this weekend your fun birthday spa weekend??? That should be awesome.

I'm exhausted, but I wanted to say a quick hello before I sign off for the evening. I'll look forward to seeing how your day went.

Hugs to you, friend!

Jenna

Hello All,

I had work, another school meeting and Pilates class. I'm running on little sleep since my two older boys decided to get in a fight last night over a cell phone charger at 11:30pm! I was SO mad at them that it took me awhile to fall asleep. They also woke up little guy so he didn't sleep well after that and was a total crab this morning. My husband was out of town so I got to deal with it grrr! They are walking lightly around me today !

Food was better. I was around 700 today. Which is good since my UDs are around 2400 because I exercise a lot . I workout 6 times a week and I only check the 3-5 option on the JUDDD calculator (just to be safe).

Jenna- the plan was for me to go to the spa this weekend but my husband did not get paid on a job that he was suppose to. I'll just wait till he does. My boys are in 4h and show pigs, they also enter chickens. One of our pigs stopped gaining weight so we had to give her a shot of vitamin B, she is eating everything now. Hopefully she makes it.

Karen- the bad boy story above was for you. So you don't feel alone when your kids are acting up! Mine do too!!! I feel your pain !

Have a wonderful evening Ladies
