So tired tonight! I went on another hike today. DS14 babysat DS7 this time
. No BK for us today! My little ones, DD & DS share a room and last night they did not sleep well. Our daughter could not sleep and little guy woke me at 2 am. He said there were ghost in his closet. Poor guy. I then woke up around 4am and ate pb&j sandwich! WTH??? I guess technically I was on a UD at that point . Tomorrow/today we're driving DS14 to meet up with our good friends. He stays a week with them in NV and then their son/his friend comes and stays with us. It's a lot of driving! DS17 is going to a running camp and little guy has soccer camp so it will be a very busy week! See you guys tomorrow... |

Hi Tanya,
Good morning! Boy you had quite the night last night. You must be tired today. Safe travels with all of that driving today. Good for you for hiking again! I love hiking, especially all of the rocky mountains we have here. But I need to get new boots/shoes. Tennis shoes don't cut it for me because they don't have enough tread to grip all of those rocks. Ah, I remember those days of parties at Chuckie Cheese. I agree with Christine, thank God they are over. Talk about sensory overload. Reminds me of the casinos in Vegas for some reason. Have a super great day, Tanya! Talk to you soon. Hugs, Jenna ![]() |

Tanya,
Glad your trip is complete; that's nice that DH did the driving. I always prefer it that way myself. About the exercise, I am trying to motivate myself to get going with that. I am going to attempt to start again tomorrow. I do well for a few days, but then I start skipping a few days, and before I know it, it's been a few weeks without anything. How do you keep yourself motivated with the exercise? Just curious. Hoping you have a nice and restful Sunday. Hugs, ![]() Jenna |

Jenna, there you are! It's so great to put a face with the name
To answer your question about exercise, I don't let myself go more than two days without it. Exercise has always been easy for me, I like to do it. To be succesful you have to find something you enjoy. So you want to do it! My problem is resisting all that yummy food . The food is the important part or so all the fitness mags say- Clean Eating. I know you can do it .It's weird around here with both older boys gone. I did a lot of cleaning today. I'll get the house just how I want it and then the boys will come home and chaos will commence .I had a DD today and it was difficult. I just wanted to eat.... Sometimes DDs are like that. Oh well. Talk to you all later. |

Hiking sounds wonderful, I wish I could find a place to do that. I want to be more outdoorsy but it's so hot here.
![]() I forget many things too, every night I write a list of things I need to do for the following day to attempt keeping it fresh on my mind but I always miss something. ![]() Middle DD's birthday is in Aug and I am praying she doesn't request Chuck E Cheese, I hate that place and DH and I swore to never do that again. ![]() Well you seemed quite busy this past weekend. Hope you find some "me" time here and there to unwind. ![]() We're on the same eating schedule again....here's to a great UD!! ![]() |

Hey Everyone
,I had a busy day. Little guy had soccer camp and I had no nursing for my girl. I had to arrange for her old nurse to watch her. I didn't want to take her with us because my son sometimes has a hard time with new situations and it doesn't help having everyone stare at his sister ! Then when we got home her "other"nurse came to do her dressing change and draw her blood. We had a baseball game and errands. Luckily Grandpa showed up to help out It was an UD so food was easy peesy |

Grandparents are the best.
![]() You'll love the 30 Day Shred, I need to get mine back from my sister. Totally down for running Chuck E Cheese out of business. I remember loving those places as a kid, I bet I annoyed my parents about it too, except in MN it was called Showbiz or something but same idea and very similar characters. What a hectic day for you, but it all worked out well in the end so that's good. Well, it's DD...hope we have a good one. ![]() |

Hi Tanya,
How is your day going? Sounds as if you are very busy. I had to laugh when you said that you would do anything to avoid the laundry, including exercise...I am the opposite. I actually LIKE doing laundry. I find it relaxing. ![]() I hope you have a super day whatever you're up to! Hugs to you--- Jenna ![]() |

Oh Jenna, is there a smilie that shakes it's head no? I'm just teasing
. I literally remind myself of how women used to have to wash clothes a 100 years ago. Then I stop whining, immediately! My day went something like this. We had soccer camp. I did the shred (liked it) and folded and washed about 10 loads of laundry (ya, I let it go a bit),lots of house chores, I cleaned the boys bathroom (gross). I believe there should be a law against boys/men peeing while standing. Sit down and stop peeing on my floor! And while I'm on this rant why am I cleaning it? I don't stand and pee! I'll tell you why I was cleaning it. My mom is coming to stay. She comes into the house and immediately starts cleaning. I try not to take offense. She does it to all my siblings. My brothers' wives just love it ![]() My DD went well I was busy and I ate low carb. I think that is the right combo for me! Night Everyone... |

LOL @ your mother and at your toilet ranting!!! I feel the same way about the toilet. DS does sit down in the middle of the night, which I think it pretty smart; he said, "I don't need to turn on the light, then, and I don't have to worry about aim!" Pretty good thinking for an 11 yo!
![]() I don't mind DOING the laundry, but I do hate putting it away!!!! I always have a pile on my dresser waiting to be put away......I need a laundry fairy. Can your mom come over?? |

![]() I knew you'd like Shred. I become an insane cleaner when my family comes over too, but mine doesn't start cleaning my house as your mother does. I've seen how my sister's boys destroy her toilets too. My youngest nephew tends to whip it out in random areas and just "go". Glad I don't have that problem to deal with. I like the LC combo with JUDDD too, I just feel better that way. I'm glad you found what works for you. Have a great day Tanya! ![]() |

So I cleaned all of my mom's favorite spots to clean. Like the softner cup in my washing machine, my silverwear holder thing, the light bulbs in my bathroom light fixtures. I'm not kidding! She's crazy
. These are areas that I don't clean on a regular basis. I hit all those things yesterday. So what did she do? She took apart my coffee maker and cleaned that. Score one point for team Mom ! I will defeat her someday ! Christine- are you sure you want me to send my mom your way ???Even though it was an UD I ate like crap. I don't want to think about it . I have noticed that I have slowly stopped drinking my water. I have to get back on track with that. It is a never ending process, isn't it?Goodnight everyone... |

Your mom is hilarious!! I think I could tolerate that behavior for one day, so send her on over!
Imagine what she'd do, though, if she came over and EVERYTHING was done, even the teeny tiny cracks! She wouldn't know what to do with herself, I bet! I ate like crap yesterday as well. Gelato for dinner? Not a good choice! Here's to a better day today. |

Hi Tanya,
That's so funny about your mom. It must be a mom thing, because mine does the SAME THING exactly. She comes over so often (lives close to us) that I often don't have the time or energy to clean so she goes to town. I let her do that. She also likes to get into the tricky places that you mentioned. Her favorites are dusting our furniture and light fixtures, plus the washing machine and the top of the fridge. It's tough to keep up with the water sometimes. In particular, I try to drink big glasses before and after I eat to keep my food urges in check. It seems to be pretty affective. I'm not sure how much water I do, but with my meds, I can't do an excessive amount or I am literally flushing them out. Have a wonderful day, Tanya. Hugs, Jenna ![]() |

I remember my grandma being like that with my mom. They would surprise us (all the way from MN) and we never locked our doors since we lived on an AF base so the house would be spotless and she'd even rearrange items.
![]() We all have those UDs that turn into a mess, I'm sure getting back to DD today will tame those cravings some. ![]() Speaking of water, my consumption of it has also decreased a tad bit bc DH brought Diet Dr. Pepper in the house so I have been drinking that more than I'd like to. ![]() Talk to you later friend. ![]() |

Hi All
![]() Well, I'm still pecking away at my phone to post here. Found out that our laptop is smoked . Hopefully we can get a new one this weekend. I'm getting sick of this and you don't realize how dependent you are on them .My DD went well. I was right on my calorie limit. I also went on a hike with a friend of mine. I took advantage of grandma being here. She happily hung out with little man after soccer camp. My big boys are coming home, one tomorrow and one on Saturday. I miss them but it was nice to have a little break fom them. I'm going to get to bed now. Night all.... |

Glad your DD went well and you got to hike.
When I actually do get a break from my kids I feel lost and have no idea what to do with myself. I need to learn to enjoy it more. It's always bitter sweet when the kids aren't around huh!? ![]() That's a pain to type from your phone. If my laptop went out I'd probably feel that way too, we have sucky internet here and when it goes down I panic. Technology has spoiled us these days. ![]() Hope you have a great Friday! ![]() |

Hi Everyone!
Had a lovely UD ! I am going to stick with the rotation schedule. No MD this weekend. My weight hasn't moved this week. I had a UUAA day and not a lot of water. So I'm going to tighten up my food this coming week. I've got to get out of the 170s.One of my big boys came home tonight and I have to drive up north tomorrow and grab my other one. We're starting to get ready for school. They have to get haircuts and some new clothes. I just ordered DS17 books and have to make his apt to get his senior pictures done. I can't believe we are at this point already. It went so fast ![]() . Can you tell I'm not dealing well with this?Mom is still here with me and Dad just arrived. He's already driving my husband crazy. He(my dad) takes over the TV and then complains the whole time about there nothing being on ! Someday they (parents) won't be with us, so we got to enjoy them while they are with us.Good night all. I've got to go sit with my husband and whisper sweet nothings in his ear to distract him . |

Good rotation plan.
![]() I can only imagine how you feel with DS in his senior year, I'm already starting to dread the fact that my oldest will be in jr. high next year and all the girls will be in school while I'm at home. It does go by SO fast. ![]() We tried watching a movie last night and that was chaotic with my whole family. Tons of pausing and rewinding bc nobody would stop talking. DH seemed annoyed, but I had to do the same thing you did with yours. Savor the moments, even the bad and annoying ones. ![]() Have a safe drive up north today. It'll probably be really nice to catch up when driving. ![]() |

Good Evening All,
I drove 7 hours today. Not counting the food and gas stops. Yes, I said food. What else are you going to do on a long ride? I don't know Tanya, maybe stick with your plan Grrrr!!!! I'm just irritated with myself. My weekends are just nightmares lately. At least I'm not gaining, just maintaining.I'm not a wishy washy person. I need to make some goals and stick to them. Period. I have all my kiddos home now Back to reality! Hope everyone is having a great weekend |

Glad all your kiddos are back home, I bet you missed them tons.
![]() That's a lot of driving. It's really hard to stay on plan when in those types of situations... I want to beat myself up for it when I cave but at least you maintained and can go from there. Speaking of goals, I have to think about my goals for August...exercise may be one of them. You'll find your balance Tanya, don't be too hard on yourself. ![]() Hope you have a great day! ![]() |
