I finished my 10 day TTapp challenge yesterday
! I did not lose a lot of inches but wow did it help with TOM . I'm normally very heavy and my cycle is 7 days plus a week of spotting. This time around it was 4 days and normal. It was awesome!I finally broke down and recorded my measurements. I definitely think something hormonal is going on. I found measurements from 2009 and my legs and arms are about an inch bigger now but my waist is 6 inches bigger . Holy cow!!! I'm going to do some research on this. I've got to get some sleep. It was a long day. Night night ![]() |

Glad to hear that you had some TOM help!! Definitely look into the hormone situation; I think so many problems can be traced back to imbalance. Good luck!

I've been a bad journalist! I have been crazy busy. My DH and I have worked two weekends nonstop on our backyard. When we emptied our garage for the remodel, a lot of items ended up in a covered tent thing. We emptied that. Two dump loads, two Salvation Army trips and an A&S metals trip later....I am physically exhausted. We had to move 50lb bags of pig feed, there were 20 of them and I moved 11 of them
![]() !I've been keeping up with my TTapp also. I've lost 14 inches, which is great but I haven't budged on my clothing sizes. I know it's working so I'm just keeping with it. The sizes will move eventually... Food is meh. I've got to tighten up on that. Somedays I do great and somedays it's non stop eating. I'm trying to be gentle with myself and just eat half of what I want to eat. When I do too much ie- exercise and diet it can easily throw me off track. Hope everyone is doing well..I'll check back in tomorrow! I promise.... |

I had a decent day with my food. I snuck some hoedowns (TTapp) in the bathroom at work after eating my lunch. I felt like a goof ball but I want to see if that helps or changes anything for me. My goal is to do HDs after each meal everyday whether it's a TTapp workout day or not. They (HDs) help lower blood sugar levels, for anyone who is not familiar.
Thank you Rebecca! That was sweet of you to comment Well, I've got to hit the sack. Morning comes too quick... |

I typed up a big post last night and when I hit submit reply it told me I wasn't signed in
! Now I'm trying to remember everything I wrote about . I forgot to post that on Monday I went to the dentist and they took my BP before starting and it was 140/88. Not sure if that was from anxiety about the apt (I hate going to the dentist) or if it was a true reading. My BP is always around 120/75. So I'm concerned. I think it's time for a physical... Can I just vent??? My 18yr old DS is driving me bonkers! He's my oldest so I've never experienced this lovely attitude that he has lately. Apparently we're suppose to foot the bills and he is not suppose to be expected to do ANYTHING!!! Ya, that doesn't work for me. He's still in HS and I don't think I will be one of the crying moms when it's time for him to start college! I'm ready for him to start now!! Ttapp is going well and I'm going to start skin brushing. I swear that Theresa Tapp can talk me into anything! First time I heard about that I thought it was . But I have read so many good things about it. I'm going to give it a try.Well I've got to go pick up little guy from school and DS15 and I are checking out a new school for next year (possibly). DS15 has not been good with his hw this year and his school is advertising for new students. I finally told him I give up, I'm looking for other schooling options because I'm not sure you will be invited back, it's a charter school, they can do that! Man that lit a fire under his butt. All of a sudden he's working overtime on his hw. His girlfriend WILL be asked back because she is a good student. So young love is helping me out here ![]() Have a great day everybody ![]() |

A physical is a good idea, but the anxiety could be at fault. You should find out for sure, though! Sorry to hear about the 18 y.o.! KIDS!!!!! Hope you have a great day!

There's been ALOT of drama going on at our house! My DS18 who has always been a good kid has been acting up this past month. Well, Sunday he decided he needed a "break" from the family and took off to his bff house! That didn't go over real well with DH and I. He was home the next day. But the attitude is still here...lucky us
I'm not sure what to do with him. He's still in HS, he has all of these acceptance letters from different colleges and a couple of full rides. And I'm scared that he is going to mess that up.Anyone that has been reading my journal should remember that he sustained a wrestling injury and had to have surgery. He has been unable to workout for months and I think he needs to do something physical to burn up his frustrations (missing his senior year of wrestling). He has always been busy and I think he is just going stir crazy. BUT the mouth and disrespect is new and completely unacceptable! If any one out there has some advice, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm floundering here. I miss my loving boy .I did the instructional TTapp video last night it was slow and it gave me a great workout. I can't imagine what my BP is right now... I've got to call and get an apt. Off to bed now... ![]() |

Thinking about you! Maybe he's secretly hurting, or maybe he feels "grown". This is a tough spot. But the sudden change of his personality means somethings up? Could his BFF and him be doing drugs? I hope not, but it doesn't hurt to ask! Talk to him like an adult. Tell him you love him and your worried about him. Tell him you'll help him.

So sorry about DS! Is there ANY kind of activity he can do?? He does definitely sound all pent up. That testosterone can be trouble!! Hugs to you and DH; hang in there.

Life has finally settled down. Our son is back to his normal self
TTapp is still going strong. I'm finally seeing a difference in my upper stomach area ![]() My kids and myself are on spring break this week. Which is wonderful. I'm trying to get several medical/dental apts done this week and throw in some fun too! Rebecca~ Believe me I have checked for evidence of drug use. I haven't found it. But the personality change is a huge concern. Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it .Christine~ Thanks for the hugs I needed them... |

Aahhhhh the weekend is finally here
I spent the afternoon with all my boys, we went to my parents, the book store, Target and then got something to eat. Poor guys They were good sports about it ![]() So last night DS18 came home from his first wrestling practice back (he was released by his doc on Wednesday) and his knee locked up . That should not be happening. The surgery was suppose to fix that. I'm so sad, annoyed, mad for him. I can't believe this is happening. The doc is suppose to look over his chart and let us know where we need to go from here.Today is the fourth day of a four day mini Ttapp challenge. I'm hoping that it kicks starts my inch loss again. I have been dry brushing my skin and I can see a difference in my cellulite. I'm not say its gone but my bad areas look much smoother |

I've been thinking about my WOE or lack there of! When I am in the right mind frame, I can do amazing things.... But it has been over a year and a half since I've had the drive to change what I'm putting into my body. I know I can be successful on a number of eating plans, it's when I stray from those plans that the weight piles back on and I'm back to square one, again
. My body LOVES to be at 176 lbs. I wish that I loved it because it would be a piece of cake to maintain!!! Seriously, 176 + 5'5" ish = tight 14's with a muffin top that I'm always trying to hide. My stomach which was never a problem before is now a major problem- hence the muffin top (hormones, maybe ? )Eating plans- I hate them! I just want to eat what I want, when I want, how I want, I sound like a 4 year old, huh ?!! I'm thinking about JUDDD again, at least I get to eat like a 4yr old every other day . The thing with JUDDD is I lose about five lbs and then nothing, zipp, nada. I bounce around all over the place. I think I can get around that with the support and knowledge of the JUDDD board. I just have to make sure I'm checking in here EVERY day. When I'm not posting daily I'm usually consumed with my family life or I'm hiding from my weight loss goals/commitments.Well, I've laid it all out there What to do? What to do? I think it will be JUDDD with some kind of appetite suppressant for DDs (in the beginning). DDs can be hard for me. I will keep with my TTapping and see what kind of results I can produce. I wasn't planning on a post like this but I'm glad that I "talked" it out with you all ![]() Have a great Saturday ![]() |

I'm sitting here at swim lessons for little guy. His class consists of 3 boys and the class next to his is all girls. They are sooo different. The girls are worried about their faces getting wet and the boys are wiggling around looking at each other under the water, bouncing up and down. They all crack me up
![]() I've got to go shopping after his lesson and get some low cal foods for my DD tomorrow. I'm trying to get in the right frame of mind to be successful at JUDDD. Maybe I need to be hypnotized I wonder if that would work? Hmmmm....DS18 called the surgeons office and he's out for this week so DS will see another doc in the office, because doc said "Thiis should not be happening" No &?;*!!!! And he makes the big bucks, folks. Can you tell that I'm frustrated? |

Just a quick check in today. DD has been difficult but I'm holding on for dear life!
I am determined to get through this day under/at my calorie limit. I've got to get off the couch and do my TTapp and I don't want to make dinner tonight. I think the kids are going to have to make sandwiches for dinner today! Goodnight everybody ![]() |

Almost the end of the week
I've had a great week with my JUDDD experiment. I haven't weighed yet because I can drive myself crazy with that. I've been doing my TTapp EOD. I took DS18 to the knee doc. He has an MRI tomorrow morning. They might have to just remove his meniscus. Not good...I'll update when I know more. There's more going on but I've got to get to bed. That alarm rings early in the morning. Goodnight All... |

I'm riding in my car with DH and DS18. We're on our way to Reno! DS 18 was signed up for a tournament this weekend. We decided to keep our reservations and get away for the weekend. DS15 did not want to go so he stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa who are watching the little peeps.
I just booked DS18's flights. He's visiting 6 colleges this coming two weeks. He's been talking to coaches and is excited. I hope he picks somewhere close to my in-laws in Mn. You know, just in case something happens they'll be close enough to help. I'm just a nervous mama ![]() I hope I can keep together this weekend with my food plan. We will see.... Goodnight ![]() |

We're back from Reno. I didn't even put a quarter in a slot machine
. I guess I'm not really into gambling. I watched about 550 wrestling matches and DH took me out to a delicious steak dinner. We also stopped at Cabelas to buy a hunting riffle. My man sure can sweep me off my feet on his "dates" Wrestling and guns every girls dream weekend! Can't believe the weekend is over already and we're back to the beginning of another week.... |

Uggggh TOM is here and I feel horrible! It takes everything out of me to get through my day. I'm parked on the coach right now and I don't think I could move unless there's a fire!
DS18 is leaving to visit some colleges tomorrow. He is going alone and I'm nervous about this. My DH keeps reminding me that he'll be gone next year and I have to let go a little. I don't want to .I had a yummy dinner planned but that's not happening, remember, I'm not leaving the coach? I lied, I left the coach. DS15 had a 4-H meeting and I was the only one who could drive him. DS18 was getting fitted for his tux for prom, so he missed tonight's meeting and couldn't be my taxi . I need to get up and do my TTapp. It really helps with my PMS symptoms. It's not going to happen tonight but I'm shooting for a workout in the morning. That's the best I can do right now.... Goodnight everyone ![]() |
