It's Monday again . I'm going to bed early tonight. I'm tired already, not a good sign since I just started the week!

It's my DH Bday tomorrow. So I will be busy cooking/baking his favorites after I'm done with work. I admire how he can go off his diet and jump right back on it the next day. If I could do that I wouldn't be overweight .

Day 9 of my TTapp challenge

I had a crazy day! Got up ran around getting everyone ready for/off to school. As I was driving to work Skye's teacher called to say she was not feeling well. I picked her up, took her to the doctors office, she was running a temp there (she didn't at school) so off to the Bay Area to be admitted to the hospital. She has a picc line so they have to rule out a line infection. They ran several other tests and influenza A came back positive. My poor baby girl is so sick. She has had a 103 temp all day. Nothing is touching it. She is literally laying on ice packs and nothing.... At least it's not going higher. She was fine when I sent her to school. Like I said, crazy day

I missed my TTapp workout but I think I can be excused for today

I'm off to bed now....

Well we're still in the hospital. Little Miss Thang has been transferred to the PICU. She's pretty miserable with the flu and is needing some one on one nursing. So here we are.

I actually haven't ate a lot today . Normally for me, stressful times call for stressful eating. I'm glad that was not the case today

You all take care and hey, get your flu shot!

What a long week. Skye is finally over the flu. She is still in PICU but she is definitely over the worst of it .

My food was good. I prayed so much for Skye, I decided to pray for the health of my body too. I have this body that I'm not taking very good care of. Sometimes I need these reminders to keep me on the right path.

I started TTAPP again. Which feels great

I swear I just want this week to end! My life seems to be going along the lines of~ when it rains it pours! Whatever could go wrong, is going wrong...
And it's not just Skye. Bills, work, medical insurance...It's GOT to get better, right?

Food today was ok, at least sitting in the hospital I can't run into the kitchen and snack during the afternoon (my problem time/area). I've got to look at the positives !

I'm so glad it's Friday. I have another three day weekend. Unfortunately, it sounds like I will be spending it in the hospital with Skye . Her respiratory problems are much better. Now they're messing with her feeds trying to get her off of TPN. Which is "food" through an IV. I'm not sure if its going to happen. She is in so much pain right now from all the food they're pumping into her stomach through her g-tube. Her heart is just racing. When I got here from work I told them to turn it off (she's on a pump). My poor baby .

Let's see food...

B- zucchini muffin,cheese stick, carton of milk (I work at a school)

L- hot dog

S-Starbucks ice tea lemon aid w/2 Splenda

D-1/2 ham sandwich, small Cobb salad

I don't know what you would call that kind of day. I have to cut out my school breakfast, they are not helping me. You would all scream if you saw what the school/government deems "healthy" for our kids. All carbs. The cheese stick is the best protein source I can find on the cart for breakfast!

My goal next week~ breakfast at home

Day 11 at the hospital . I'm tired of this place. She is still showing signs of pain. Her tummy is really hurting her I wish she could talk and tell me what is going on. I'm forever in that frustrating stage of guessing at what is wrong.

My food so far~

B- handful of almonds and 1/2 of pb&j sandwich

Starbucks - 1/2 tall white chocolate mocha


I know, I know, Starbucks again! I am so physically exhausted right now from working and then driving back and forth from to the hospital (an hour each way). I'm in need of caffeine!

I seem to be doing some kind of 1/2 diet. Which I think I like. I'm eating things I like just half of the serving. I checked my weight this am and I'm still at 180, but my good friend Tom showed up last night. So I'm hoping there will be a drop on the scale in a couple of days. I hope I'll have something to report. I'm through abusing this perfectly healthy body that I have. I want to turn things around and I feel for some reason I'm in a good place mentally for that right now.

Skye finally got out of the hospital . Now I just have to get caught up on everything....housecleaning, dirty clothes, grocery shopping .

My eating has been surprisingly good. Right now I'm focusing on eating ONLY when I'm hungry and eating only half of the food on my plate. I've had to talk myself down from some serious snack attacks though. Afternoons can be difficult for me. I'm working on it

I ate a little more than I wanted to today. You know what? Tomorrow is another day. I'm getting right back at it .

I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. I need the break after all that work/commute/hospital time.

DH and I took our little guy out to the park and lunch today. It was nice just to spend some one on one time with him.

Food today so far....

Approximate Calories

B- 1 egg and 1 piece of toast with butter (200 cal) coffee w/ HWC (150)

L- 1/2 BMT Subway sandwich 1/2 bag of chips (400 cal)

S- 1/2 tall white chocolate mocha (250)

I'm making chicken soup in my pressure cooker for dinner tonight

I've got to get in my TTAPP tonight and then I'm all good

Life is busy, busy, busy I told my co-worker today that I'm tired of being tired!

Food today-

B- 1/2 of a scone & a carton of milk

L- Cheese pizza with tomatoe slices

S- tall white chocolate mocha

D- pot roast,cauliflower & a roll+ the rest of the scone from the AM

I did drink a lot of water. I've got to see some positive in that mess that I wrote above....

I really hate listing my daily food. It's a smack upside my head. It makes me see the truth of my food choices.

I so want to get my act together. I want to be able to wear shorts this summer. I haven't worn shorts in a LONG time. I'm tired of not living life because of these extra 30 lbs.

Ahhh excuse the venting! I'll figure it out

B- Coffee w/HWC~ Yay me! I did not eat breakfast at work Hey, I've got to celebrate the little things

L- Corn dog and a banana

D- Turkey chili and a piece of cornbread

I have got to get rid of my afternoon Starbucks!

My DH brought home roses
We never celebrate big because our anniversary is on the 27th of this month and it can get a little too spendy trying to celebrate both.


I tried to Low Carb it today. I just thought I would mix it up!

Food Today~

B- cheese stick & coffee w/HWC

L-turkey, cheese & cream cheese roll up

S- almonds

D- steak, green beans & salad w/ blue cheese dressing

For desert I mixed Splenda and sour cream with strawberries

It was a good a day...

So I did the unthinkable and woke up early to do my T-Tapp work out. Now this is unprecedented because I am NOT a morning person I just was not getting my T-Tapp done in the afternoon/evening. I had to do something!

Our washer broke and I'm trying to find something decent on Craigslist. Just one more thing... I have to admit we are very hard on them, with six in our family there is ALOT of laundry.

Food Today-

B- coffee w/HWC

L- 1/2 slice of cheese pizza with tomato

S-

D- cheeseburger and fries at 5 Guys (it was really good)


Christine- He was sweet to do that

One of my dearest friend's baby shower is tomorrow and of course I have nothing to wear and no gift! So I have to get out early and get some shopping done.

I'm looking forward to a long three day weekend. Work was very frustrating today. Sometimes having six women in a kitchen just does not work well .

Oh well, it's time for me to veg out on some mindless TV....

T-Tapp day 5 I'm shaking my head at myself. Why have I not been consistant with this work out? It's only 15 minutes! I really like it and I feel like there is already a difference in my stomach. I'm re-reading my book and watching the instructional video to make sure I'm doing it right.

I had a great weekend. The baby shower was fun and I got a new washer. Our garage addition passed inspection on Thursday last week. So we worked on moving our oldest son into his new room. We have six people in a three bedroom house. Plus all of Skyes equipment and a nurse everyday, we are bursting out of this place. So grateful and blessed that we could add on into our garage. As we move people around we are going to carpet the bedrooms in the house. I'm so excited about that, the rooms really need it.

Food Today~

B- coffee w/ HWC
L- chilli verde burrito (the absolute best thing we make in our school kitchen)
S-
D-chilli verde burrito (yep, I kept one for my dinner!)

My oldest son is dating a new girl and boy is he in love . He is cracking me up right now. Very cute and it takes me back to when I first met my DH

T-Tapp day 6. I'm doing a 10 day challenge and so far so good My 7 yr old did the DVD with me tonight. It was so cute

Food was on a large scale today. I couldn't figure out what was going on until... Well, my not so good friend TOM showed up .

I finally found out what was going on with my boss. She's been a bit crazy lately and not in a good way. She told us that she has quit drinking soda. That would explain her behavior. Hope it goes away soon because she is driving ME crazy!

T-Tapp day 8 . Little guy did it again with me. Through out the workout he's asking me "Am I getting big muscles?"

Thank you lord for Fridays! I am ready for a "break". The reality is I have a ton of work to get done around the house but that's different.

Don't I know it! It's not the soda per say for me. It's the caffeine. I just can't kick it!

She's getting better and at least she is admitting that she's acting crazy right now!
