Hi All
![]() What a wonderful break from work and the weekly grind of school and activities! I've enjoyed it but it is back to reality for this girl. So I went on a crazy eating binge from Thursday-Today. I am one very bloated and uncomfortable person right now. Luckily my DH is starting his LC diet tomorrrow. That will help reign me in too. He frustrates me because he'll lose 20lbs in a month and then slowly go back to eating all foods. He'll gain some weight after a while and then repeat the process. Twice a year on average. Grrr....as I struggle everyday! I have to say when he does his plan though, he is hard core, NO CHEATING! Hope everyone is doing well and you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours went well. I guess as well as it can go for my dysfunctional family! Got to get some sleep. Goodnight.... |

Oooh, good for DH! I am trying to convince DH to stick to it, but it's a lost cause. I need someone to be hard core with!!!!!
Glad you had a nice break! Isn't it lovely to not have to pack lunches, supervise homework, stay on top of laundry, WORK, etc. etc. etc.???? Hope you have a great day! |

I had a good food day today. I'm considering going back to JUDDD. I just need to~ NOT WEIGH!!!! I get very frustrated with the scale bouncing
. No daily weigh ins will fix that problem. I think I'm going to bop over to Up Down site and figure out my calorie peramiters. Wish me luck!!!By the way I only gained two pounds after that turkey day/week fiasco . I'm happy it wasn't worse.Goodnight All ![]() |

Today will be my first DD on my JUDDD restart #4! My DD calories are 535 and UD's will be 2141. I just can't weigh myself everyday. Which is hard because you want to see that verification on the scale that your hard work IS working
Christine- Thank you for all of your support. I need it ![]() I've got to get moving. Kids have to get to school and I have to get to work. Have a great day everyone! |

Well I found out why I only lost a pound. My dear friend TOM showed up. I did not invite him but he insists on visiting! So now I'm actually pleased with losing a pound because normally I gain about 3-5. Yay me
![]() Shopping for the family was hilarious. DH is low carbing, I'm JUDDDing and my DS18 eats "clean". This boy hasn't drank a soda in 4 years. He amazes me ! My cart was a contradiction of diets! We got our tree today after the storm was through killing us! My guys were complaining about having to cut the tree down in the soggy conditions. Oh these wonderful memories we will have to look back on. Got to love them .Hope you all have a great week! Goodnight.... |

It's only the 3rd of December and I already feel like I'm light years behind on my Christmas to do list!
With my friend Tom around I am just exhausted. I hope tomorrrow will be better. I had a meeting for DS7 at school. They went over all the results from the multiple tests and questioners that we took. He still has an aid with him in class and that is helping. He has had 6 "good" days in row Not much on the food front. I have been eating on plan. For now I am happy with that Goodnight everybody.... |

Wow, this week is going by fast! Ive been writing myself notes. I seem to forget everything. Anyway, the notes are working and I'm finally catching up on the little things that turn into mountains when I don't deal with them. Which of course causes me HUGE amounts of stress and the way I cope with stress is.... I eat too much
! It always come back around to me shoving food in my mouth. So I'm working hard at fixing some of the "little" things.Have a great day everyone! |

Holy Cow! I have been away for awhile. I have been swamped getting ready for Christmas. I can safely say that I do 90% of the Christmas preperations. Shopping, wrapping, cards,tree....you get the picture. I just hosted Christmas today for my side of the family. We always do it a little early because of all the conflicts with all of the in-laws with a family of six.
I definitely need to be checking in here. At this point of the Holiday season I'm just trying to maintain. So far so good! Hope everyone is doing well. I'll be back tomorrow. |

I'm sitting in a doctor's office waiting for my DS18. He's getting an MRI
Food- I'm going to go back to my JUDDD rotation. I already had Starbucks coffee-340 calories later.... It's funny my stomach is so bloated but I have only gained 1.5lbs. My clothes feel like it's about an 8 lb gain! Have a wonderful day everyone ![]() |

So we went back to the doctors office to get the results of DS18 MRI. He does have a tear and he will have surgery this Monday. There is some hopeful news. If the tear is not too bad they can just "trim" it. He will be back on the mat in 2 weeks! But if it's a bad tear than it will have to be repaired and he will be out the whole season. I'm just happy there is a good possibility that he will be "healed" quickly. Praying for the first option
![]() I didn't eat until late this afternoon. Which was kind of good because it means I wasn't grazing all day. There is still way too much Christmas junk in my house. I need to get rid of all this candy. Do I have any takers? ![]() My DH took 2 days off of his diet for Christmas and then straight back to his WOE. He's a machine!!! A successful weight loss machine. I'm very proud of him ![]() |

I believe that Starbucks is the Devil! I have had so much Starbucks this holiday season, I'm actually sick of it, but I just keep coming back.... help me
!Today was a good day. Food was good and I got in a walk. Baby steps.... I've been thinking about how to mentally get myself back to where I need to be. What is the magic formula for me? I know mentally that I do better on a strict diet. If a WOE is too lenient I tend to wonder off and misbehave . I'm thinking on this. It's a marathon not a sprint, right? Have a wonderful night y'all. Man, I wish I was southern so I could say y'all and not be a poser doing it ! |

I'm sitting here waiting for DS18. He's in surgery. I actually have butterflies in my stomach right now. I never get nervous during medical procedures. Miss Skye has definitely put me through the paces on the medical side of things. I just want it to be done and know what the results are. If it's bad and he can't wrestle...I can't imagine how he will handle it. I know that sounds VERY dramatic but my son is so focused and type A. Lets just say it will not be fun times around our house. Got to get through it no matter what "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." Right
My food has been . Take care everyone.... |

Happy New Year Everyone
Ours did not start off so well. DS18 did have a bad tear in his meniscus so he had to have it repaired. He is out for his senior year of wrestling. I had to tell him in the recovery room. It broke my heart when he cried. He knows that in the grand schemes of things, he is a very lucky guy. I read him a post from a friend on FB today. Her two year old is battling cancer. They literally thought he was going to die last night. Kind of hard to feel sorry for yourself when there are so many others suffering. I took all the Christmas stuff down today. Normally I wait a little longer but the tree was dead and it was making a huge mess. It seamed to take all day. I've got to get some exercise in tomorrow and I need to decarb a bit... My tummy is hard from all of the diet soda I've been drinking. I'm getting tired so I'm going to say, Goodnight All ![]() |

So sorry to hear about DS's injury! I'm sure he's disappointed at having to sit out for the year. That stinks! He's young, so I hope that means he'll heal quickly and seamlessly!
WTG DH! Two days off and then back on? Love it. Hope you're doing well. Detoxing here. ![]() |

I am back to work. Life is right back in crazy mode. I had to drive to the Bay Area after work with Skye for her monthly GI apt. I really dislike having to go up that late in the day because I hit all of the commuter traffic. Got to do what you got to do....
I did some spring cleaning this weekend. I took on the HUGE project of our walk in closet which we could not walk in anymore. It was bad! I also cleaned our hall closet. In total I took 10 bags and a box to the Salvation Army and 4 bags of garbage . Our remodel project is coming along . They are laying the floor right now. I just want it to be done.I pulled my TTapp DVDs out and I'm committing to a month challenge . I'm three days into it. I'm also calorie cycling, something like JUDDD but higher calories on my DD. I'm also eating more LC on those days. My DH and I are weighing once a week together. That gives me some incentive (he is the weight loss machine). I also had him hide the scale. I do not want to be constantly weighing myself. For me if I don't lose consistently I get discouraged and I go completely off track. So this is what I'm doing right now. I put a lot of thought into my exercise and food plan and I hope this will be the right combination for me. Wish me luck I hope everyone is doing well and meeting/working on their goals in this New Year. Just keep swimming, people |

Last night I found out that there will be a TTapp class held in March near where we live. So I signed up for it
! I'm looking forward to having my form corrected. I figure this will keep me on track with my exercise challenge.Food was much better and LC today. I actually had a fleeting thought of doing HCG. I did it a couple of years ago and it did work, but I never thought that mentally I would want to go back there. I only did two rounds but that second one was a killer! I'm so glad that my work week is done. DS15 finished all 53 assignments which is a huge relief. That was not fun to deal with, there was a lot of tension and anger in our house. DS18 is still recovering and Skye took the day off from school today. Her school said she was crying yesterday (very unusual for her). For once DS7 behaved him self this week. I'm just going to veg out tonight and then back to reality tomorrow. |
