Good evening,

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was busy as usual. We spoke with the recruiter for my DS17. We have a lot of info to think about.

Thank you all for the job congrats . DH took me out to dinner to celebrate.

I tried The Shred again and my knee got really stiff. So I jumped on our trampaline and played soccer with my little guy. I want to get back into my classes but I like to get in some exercise around the house too.

Food has been good. I'll post my menu tomorrow. I'm just too tired tonight. I had work, errands after work, soccer practice, dinner and some laundry. I'm pooped!

I want to get done with everything so I can get back to reading "The Diet Cure". I'm only about a chapter in but it's interesting.

I think adding exercise into your daily routine is the way to go! I haven't read The Diet Cure, but I've heard good things about it. Let us know what you learn! Have a great day!

Hi Ladies,
Today was a good day . I will report on The Diet Cure when I'm a little further into it. I had to go to the DMV today ( I forgot to renew my license) so I got some reading in there because you can't go into the DMV and get anything done in under an hour . It is physically impossible!!!

Food Today~

B- Green Tea and a cheese stick

L- Salad w/ranch and a chicken patty

D- Steak and a sweet potatoe

Jenna~ I ate the trio fajita with chicken, shrimp, and steak at Chilis. Yumm so good! And a couple of drinks . Those were good too...

Got to run to CVS. Skye has wring worm and I have to get meds for her. How did she get this you ask??? Well, her big brother wrestles and wrestlers are notorius for having wring worm. GROSS I know!!!

That sucks, hope Skye gets better soon. Just imagine all the icky things our kids pass around and get from other kids. Circle of life.

Your food looks good. Can't wait to hear about this new book. I suppose I could google it to get a brief summary of what it's about in the meantime. I need a new book to get into.

I agree, the DMV is usual a nightmare for everyone. If we drive to the one that's about an hour and a 1/2 away it's not as bad there....worth the extra drive. Hope you got it taken care of, now you won't have to deal with it for a long time.

I tried that fajita trio at Chilis once too. I think I was on LC then so I just ate the meat and veggie parts, pretty good...didn't like all the sodium. I usually get a steak there and side of broccoli, but haven't been in a long time.

Hi Everyone,

I'm so glad it is the middle of the week! I'm already looking forward to the weekend .

I had a pretty good UD except for getting an iced mocha from BK. I swear I can feel my stomach bloating before I'm even done with that dumb drink! I'm not weighing daily this week. I'm going to weigh on Friday. We will see what kind of progress I made.

I've been writing a never ending to do list. I'm trying to get myself caught up and organized. This summer with everything that was going on with my sister and the kids....I just got so behind on everything. Paperwork, doctors apts, clutter...
And I just feel so "weighed" down by it all. So I'm working on it. Speaking of my sister, I am missing her. Especially with DS17 and all of this college stuff. I'll catch myself thinking "I've got to call her to ask her this...". She and her husband had just gone through all of this with my nephew. Well that is enough of my rambling.

I can imagine that you'll feel the loss more poignantly at different times in your life depending on the circumstances.

I know what you mean about the instant bloat! Ugh. Not enough motivation for me to NOT eat cookies, but still.....

Getting organized is always a great thing! I think it helps your mental space to have your physical space organized and to have your "to-do" lists ready to go!

Carbs/Sugar do that to me instantly also.

Good luck with the to do list. Things can pile up fast, I'm sure working on it daily will get you back on track in no time. Did your new job start right away or is there a specific date set?

Hi Guys

Today was a rainy, gloomy day and my DS 14's solar hot dog project was due . Oh! DS 7 has an aid starting today. She is there to help guide (train) him to use the coping stratagies that they have in place for him. He has been having a pretty good week and as long as he has a good day tomorrow we're taking him to Hotel Transylvania.

DD food~

B- green tea & cheese stick

L- salad w/light dressing

D- chicken & veggies

S- 100 cal kettle corn

Karen- I was subbing for the open position and my first official day was Monday. It's going pretty well. Just A LOT of girl drama. Which I stay the h*** out of ! Probably half the reason they hired me

Christine- I wish the bloat would deter me from eating and drinking sugar filled things. But nope, it's not meant to be.

My big boys are cracking me up. They're both laying on my bed with me talking to me about weight lifting and diet. Is God giving me a hint or what ?

I'll talk at you all tomorrow...

Kids are so silly. That's when you notice how much they actually pay attention to what goes on.

Always smart to steer clear of the drama. I remember those days, it's in every workplace, the hard part is not getting sucked into it.

Food looks good.

Maybe DS7 was acting out bc of the shift in change and was frustrated or scared and didn't know how to react. Sounds like he's already improving and with the new aides help it can surely get better.

Hi All,

Hope you had a great weekend. I'm exhausted! I thought the weekend was for re-charging? We had soccer and housecleaning yesterday and today I made applesauce and apple butter all day. The sauce and the apple butter aren't hard to do but "processing" the jars is a lot of work.

I had an all UD weekend so I'm not weighing tomorrow. Fridays weigh in I was down to 174lb. Slowly I go down. I'll take it

I just wanted to check in. Back to the grind tomorrow.

You really had a busy weekend, but sounds like you got a lot accomplished.

I wish I knew how to do all that canning stuff so I could make homemade foods. I bet you make wonderful applesauce & apple butter.

I'm sick of hearing myself say I'm tired! It's true, but I'm tired of being tired ! I know things will eventually settle down. Once soccer season is over, life will get a little easier. I do know that I have to get this weight off because after running at practice I am not only sore but I ache like an old person! It's got to be from all this extra weight I'm lugging around!
I need to get to bed but I did want to check in and say Hi to all of my Low Carb Friends

Good Morning,

I had an interesting experience yesterday. I was complaining at work yesterday about how I get real " snacky & stress eat" in the afternoon. My coworker suggested I take a green tea fat burner. I'm not one that usually takes things like that but I gave it a try and wow it really worked. It was effortless for me to stay on plan! I'm going to try them for a week and see what kind of results I get. Have any of you taken these before? If so what was your experience with them?

Got to get moving or I'll be late for work.

Well another weekend has passed . They just go too dang fast!

My eating went really well. I did have some apple crisp (so good) but didn't go crazy. I am patting myself on the back right now.

I really want to start exercising again. It's just a time thing for me right now. I am way overextended with my kids activities and I Have to learn how to tell people no!!!

Christine- yes they are a pill. I normally don't even look at that over the counter stuff but my co worker recommended it. I was shocked that it worked for me.

I'm weighing myself Wednesday. I hope the scale shows some downward movement!

I tell you what~ My kids are driving me crazy!!! I swear if it's not one it's the other causing mischief. That's all I'm going to say or I would go on and on and on....

Eating has been real easy which is enjoyable. I was thinking to myself "Wow, this is how normal people think/eat food!". Awesome !!!

I'm missing my friends Jenna and Karen .

Hi Christine- hope your week is going well.

I've got to get going. Dinner doesn't get cooked around here unless I'm directly involved , darn it!
