Sunny tries to shine again

or......Losing Kitty plods onward. Thats what the title was until I decided that was too grim.


I really need to keep track of food, and mood and weight in one place so...this is it! LCF is the one place I can count on coming back to because there is no compare on the WWW for personal support and the experience of real people without an agenda (usually).

Wed 252.5
L: sausage & peppers & onions, 2 bites of potatoes au gratin.
D: sausage & P & O
S: celery barely dipped in BC dressing
Happy mood, no hunger, swollen feet.

Tues 258.5 (backlash from sugar Sun night)
B: 2 plain hot dogs
L: big salad with less than 2 oz of chicken & ranch
D: half piece of dry chicken and small portion of bland green beans
Happy mood, hungry at normal times

Mon 257
Cant remember the food- see what I mean- thats recorded somewhere else
I'll add it later, I should go to bed.

If anyone reads this and wonders why the crappy food like dry chicken- that's employee dining room food. Thats also why there was so little chicken on my salad- it was probably closer to an ounce- it was prepacked in a plastic container- tons of lettuce and 3 little strips of chicken slice.
My back was out on my days off and I didnt get anything precooked or packed up. Plus I'm just about the laziest person on earth lately.

B: tuna salad
L: chow fun & kung pao chicken
tried to not eat many noodles and just mostly get the veggies and chicken but I did eat some.
D: hamburger patty w/cheese, coleslaw
S: pistachios
Felt kind of yucky all day and had some stomach pains.

Fri 253 my weight always bounces up and down, up and down.
As long as there are little ups and bigger downs I just have to deal with it- its always been that way even when I was losing good.

B: Hard salami slices wrapped around cheese. Carrots dipped in BC.

My son & GDs talked me into getting the pizza but I'm at fault for caving.
At least I am ignoring the chocolate chip cookies I found in the pantry.
I have felt less lethargic this weekend.

Hard to believe I lost anything, what with pizza 3 days in a row!
I didnt binge on anything though.
L: half piece chicken fried steak, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes & white gravy.
I'm pushing my luck with this but I couldnt resist. One of the few things at work that is really good.
Mood still pretty good, very tired today.

First day back from vacation
mon 256.5
B: 2 leftover peices pizza
L: salad with 1 HB egg
D: small bowl of refried beans and cheese with tortilla chips on top.

I think I will try doing Fast 5 again and try to eat healthy/LC as much as possible.

I'm seriously upset the way all the weight I recently gained back went to the top of my stomach- under my bra.

I cant let other people derail me! Nobody is able to but my own family- I have to say no to them!

Have been reading MaryLouise thread about Atkins 68/72 and she is so inspiring.
Today I am going to have just meat & cheese one meal and tuna salad another. I already had 2 slices of roast beef earlier.

So Thrs I only had 2 pieces of roast beef at 1 pm and several pieces of roast beef & 4 slices of sharp cheddar at 8:30 but I had a LOT of shelled sunflower seeds.

Fri 257
Didn't eat all day then had a cheese stik and scrambled eggs for dinner. Then I decided I had to pick all my plums & peaches to save them from little critters so I had a couple of each. So I should have had more food and not had fruit.

I'm all inspired to eat VVLC but I can't not eat the fruit I grew. Hopefully it doesn't slow me down too badly.

Sun we ate out and I had Beef Medallions with Bernaise sauce- sugar, a tiny bite of cheesecake and a tiny bite of bread. Oh and a baked sweet potato so theres some more carbs

Today I had chicken fajita meat with peppers and taco meat with cheese.

Hopefully in a few days I will be in ketosis and start to melt away some fat!

Last night had a burger patty late and one deviled egg.

Today I actually made 3 fried eggs for Breakfast! yea me.
I have 2 hamburger patties for later and some sharp cheddar, also 2 deviled eggs for snacks.

I feel optimistic ! I have a sore throat and feel tired but I did stay up too late.

I expected to be lower Wed because I have been so "good"- on plan. The extra 4 lbs was such a surprise I just discount it. Now to be down 6.5 lbs the next day is also unusual- it could be water but I really felt I lost all my bloating before that.

Last night I ate a lot of little peaches and plums from my trees so now I dont know how bad that will affect me.

Sunday I had chicken fingers & frys so by tomorrow my weight should be up I imagine.

All weekend I barely ate because my throat was so painful.

I have to get back in gear. I dont know if I will have to go as close to zero carb as possible and white knuckle it until I get myself under control or what.

I'm going to graph my recent ups & downs and see if they look as bad as I felt they were.

Ok here we are almost a month later and I have been bad several times. I feel like a huge bloated mess since I had chicken strips and waffles 2 nights ago plus I have had candy & ice cream lately. My acid reflux is back and I feel like crap everyday.

Today at work I only went to the Employee Dining Room to get a big cup of ice before work- I refuse to go down there and be tempted.

Today I had
B: 2 eggs, 2 small sausage patties, iced coffee with 1% milk & AS
one can of coke zero when I started work
L: tuna salad
D: 1 italian sausage, 1 cheddar stick

Tomorrow I will weigh and soon I will start to feel better, happier & healthier!

again I had one iced coffee before work, 1 can coke zero when I started work and then water, water, water.
