Wonder Woman in Onederland

OMG- gosh it is hard to believe not even 2 years and now we are on journal number 4 or is it #5 I can't even remember now. We had a couple of Bejewelme's journey to skinny bride, then the journey to wonder woman, now WW finally saw Onederland I got my skin hacked, so what is next?? I will have to work on filling everyone in on this one! Better than unemployed wonder woman, which I am for the time being, LOL
So girls settle in we are still on this crazy ride together!!!

So lets go back in time to me being fat my whole life, but after having Bobby and my marriage was falling apart things got really bad!! Like over 350 pounds bad, finally in 2005 I thought I would try Atkins after I was too fat to be weighed for my tubal ligation. Well Atkins worked I lost 70 pounds pretty quickly went on a trip to Mexico gained 18 pounds and never went back that was in 2005. In Sept 2010, I weighed in at 305 it was my son's 10th birthday, I said enough, Tony wanted to get married, I knew I had to beat these problems, so I set out to change my life before I entered another marriage! I learned to exercise, which has now become a huge part of my life! And finally 1/17/12 I quit smoking for good! That was a 28 year old habit that needed to be broken.

So about the tucking, losing 150 pounds leaves some residual so I had my arms done before the wedding that pushed me to work out harder, then this past Spring 3/2/12 I had a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin, it proved to be a hard surgery but the results are worth it. And finally after 30 years, I saw onederland!!!!

So here is where we keep on going, I lost my job last week, 5.5 years and sorry corporate downsizing, but you know looking back at these pictures and all the good things that 2011 had for me, how can I worry??? I am grateful to God for bringing me this far and a great group of friends to share the journey with, so just waiting for his next plan for me. So in the meantime I am going to get myself well, focus on working out and getting back to my exercise groove,and enjoy this time to be a good mom and wife to my two favorite men in my life!!!!

Good Morning Amber.... I found you!! You are making me even more jealous...a tummy tuck..gym in the morning...possible summer off with the kids....GIRL!!!!!

How is the job hunting going? You have accomplished so much, so I know that this is just a bump in the road for you.

I went to the gym on Monday and was able to hold some 7.5 lb weights in my hands. This finger has been AWFUL!!! It got infected...17 days of antibiotics and it is still red and warm. I don't know what it is going to take to make it better...a miracle perhaps!!!! But I was glad to be able to do that. I think I will try to do an upper body work out one day this week.

Kristi- hun I was about to call you you were on my mind and I was thinking of you,I am so sorry to hear about that darn finger, lets chop it!!! LOL You know I always wanted to chop limbs for weight loss lets start with a finger!!! I am surprised how well I am adjusting back to the gym planks, stretches, and running are the things I cant do yet, but I am lifting pretty heavy again and it doesn't seem to hurt.

I went to the PS yesterday he drained me and it hurt so bad he said that is good feeling is coming back, and he thought my tummy looked good like flatter and not as swollen I told him I think the working out has really helped with the swelling!!!

That sucks about your job though, but really, they had you doing stuff you didn't enjoy anymore, so now it's time to go get a job that you LOVE!! Heck, I'll hire you to be my personal trainer if you want to come to FL ;) I could sure use a good old Pennsylvania asskicking! LOL

Yes you are truly an inspiration... you and the girls are the only reason I keep coming back from day to day(with a few days in between). Y'all inspire me like none other with weight loss and lifes lessons.

Good morning girls, well today is cardio fusion, excited for that my friend that is teaching it said today's class is going to be brutal she is making it extra hard, yeah!! I am so sore from that class so I love it!!!!

Taking Nan to the new casino to check it out about a job, apparently it is really swank so she is going to gamble I am going to check it out for jobs!

So that is the plan today!!!
