Lexi- never heard of the crack the code diet but it sounds reasonable, confusion is good, I am determined to beleive that after a while our bodies just adjust to everything food, exercise, etc, and they need to be confused.
I got drained so freaking sick of it especially when he is always an hour or more behind to have a needle and be done in a few, he said I am still swollen still have lots of fluid and that I am only maybe 25% there, ughghg, 3 months! Car glass getting fixed tomrorow, yeah! Applied at Jenny Craig for a program director job, not that I love people eating packaged foods but might be a way to get into helping people and maybe lead to other things.

Amber!
I worked for Jenny Craig years back as a center director... They pay a pretty good commision, if memory serves, on both programs and products, but not the food. You get a discount on the food, which while not low carb, is good and balanced. It really is a good program, but the food is pricey! They teach clients how to deal with their food issues, and there is a good maintenace plan too. I think you wold be great at it......Definitely try and find out how busy the center is, and how they generate leads, etc. If you can keep your book filled with appointments and close them you will do ok... And I do believe it could lead to other things!! You meet a lot of people in that job! I still have friends that work there from when I was there. |

Amber, my sister worked for Jenny Craig for a long while and absolutely loved it. She only quit because her and her dh were moving.

I'm glad that you agree Kitty!!!
Wow, only 25%. But atleast you have something to go on and now you can say, well in approximately 9 more months all the draining and swelling will be gone. ![]() |

Meg- that is cool, yeah I saw the ad and thought man that might be fun, good to hear. I did Jenny Craig when I lived in CA OMG that was like 20 years ago, I remember the food was pricey but really good even back then.
Tony got stuck in Detroit, but he called and is now in Philly chance of storms so they were not letting any planes leave Philly, we did get a little rain it is so humid here! About my weight, I am sure that I have the heaviest bones ever, LOL Seriously my damn frame must weigh a ton! The exercise makes a huge difference though for sure, OMG my closet is out of hand so I went through and got rid of all my old skirts and shorts from last summer and tried to organize a bit. I guess Bobby and I are going to watch Idol!!! |

I myself have been considering a closet "cleansing" It sure needs it! Maybe I should just go and get rid of my winter clothes. Because by winter they should all be too big

Grrrrr on Tony being delayed.
My first experience flying...and if it were up to me, my last.......could have driven to FL faster than it took to fly! and wouldn't have had to rent a car! I didn't mind the flying itself...it's the loss of control crap! They have you! Grrrrrr Hoping he makes it home safe and soon. Yay! Clean closet! |

Melanie- most of what I have is 16's and 18's some above knee skirts and capri's mostly. I hate pants and shorts, so I mainly wear skirts in the summer.

![]() Have a Blessed Day, Amber! You have come so far since I have been following you... ![]() ![]() ![]() Makes me think that my 300# son can take it off too! The family seems so much happier just being here... the family dinner Monday night was full of laughter and fun... not like the last 4 dinners at his house~ I started to walk out on the last 2 Mother's Day dinners because it was so stressful. The family being here will be a good thing once I get used to all the activity and sounds....

Amber, were you surprised Phillip won? I was. He is talented, I just didn't think he was the best.
The Jenny Craig thing sound promising. What a great way to share everything you've learned! |

IAM- Yes I am sure you are going through some serious adjustment there after being used to being alone, it will take a little while, and you will all find your way, or the vodka bottle,
![]() LOL He can lose the weight but only if he wants to, it is one of those things that you finally have to want to do it, no amount of others pleading or wanting it will do it! Laura- I was surprised yet not, it seems the dorky guys have been winning the last few years not that they are not talented, I like Philip not nearly as much as Jessica, I really thought she would win, but I think way more young girls vote and that is why the guys keep winning, like Adam Lambert he was way better than the guy that won, Doughtery, so many that should have, can never figure the voting out, but I know Joshua and Jessica will have careers and they deserve it too! |

So few of the winners have really made it into successful careers but I think Jessica may be similar to the case of Jennifer Hudson, who also didn't win, but was so talented it didn't matter.

That is my go to summer refresher.... the ginger bug is almost ready to convert to the finished product. What is the temp like where you are at? I was wondering what kind of temperatures your ale yeast tolorated? We usually end up with a safeale 05 in a lot of recipies. We keep our ales fermenting at around 65 degrees F and I think the lagering fridge is set to 55. Sorry, I went all beer geeky ![]() ![]() ! |

Melanie= OJ hun I will try to get that done some time this weekend for you. Well Tony said he is taking off early but I made my hair appt, but still nice, a friend of ours is getting sort of good with his stand up so we are going to see him tonight, we have fun things planned all weekend. Last night the 3 of us took a walk to the Lake after dinner that was nice I said we need to do that every night, it was nice just to talk without all the distractions.
I am going to the gym early then to market, I think our local strawberries are in and if so I am getting some, I love the local berries! It is so humid here I am going to have to break down and turn the freaking AC on, man it is sticky! So today is 12 weeks for my surgery, wow what a long freaking 3 months, but it is looking OK, everyday I feel a little better, if only this darn seroma would resolve life would be good! Big interview on Tuesday, really getting nervous, it is with the President, and two VP's ughghg!!! |

OH GREAT ONE dont worry about your interview. How can they NOT love this awesome lady? Just dont be nervous or you may talk their ear off ~ happens to a lot of people when they feel insecure in themselves when talking to people in position. You are you and well able to handle ANY job you apply for! So, with that confidence walk in & them with the confident you that has developed over the past year.Remember, Jesus is Changing the direction of your life and He is Directing what is happening. You need only to do what is to be done THAT DAY and leave the outcome of each day to Him. He will Place you where He wants you. Look at every opportunity as a door you are trying a key into to see if it is the one that the key fits! When you find the right door, the key will turn in the lock and you will be happy to walk through the door. It is an exciting journey walking into the unknown with Him... Just enjoy the interview ~ relax.... ![]() Last edited by iamfaithful; 05-25-2012 at 04:41 AM.. |

Thanks IAM!!! It is true I always tend to over talk, LOL
I was talking to Tony about interviewing since he is doing a lot of that now, so he is going to go over some things with me, I need to shut the trap, say it and then not keep rambling on and on, LOL So this weekend we are working on that for sure! |

Remember, an interview works both ways! "hugs"
When I worked & had a review, when the employer was finished "telling me what I was doing right/wrong & what he expected".... It was my turn... I would then ask if I could discuss something with them and "it was my turn to review the company, supervisors, etc." Usually the employer was shocked that I did this ~ but fair is fair. I had one employer (owner) tell me no one had ever done that to him! I was telling him what a terrible place it was to work and no one working there was happy and most were looking for other employment but were having trouble finding something with comparable pay. He confessed to me even he didnt like coming into work! That year there were a lot of positive changes & a lot more smiling faces. Just threw that story in... has nothing to do with your interview except maybe to instill confidence ~ BE CONFIDENT IN WHO YOU ARE! ![]() Last edited by iamfaithful; 05-25-2012 at 05:24 AM.. |
