We are totally keeping our fingers crossed for you about the house -- it will all work out. Just think of how HAPPY you will be once you are moved into a home that you love. It will be something that you and Tony will do together so the house will truly feel like yours too. Isn't that Cirque show great? We saw it in Vegas and loved it.

Hope you enjoy the next few days relaxing with Tony and packing too! The weather is crazy here in Boston too -- super high winds, snow, sleet and rain! I, too, am relieved that the big food holidays are over and we can all get back on track with low carb. Although I do plan to have a little champage on New Year's Eve!

Yet again did not get the house now I am really stressing, as in we have no idea where all this crap is getting moved to on 2/28, good grief, a 3 bedroom apt is $2200 with no utilities that is crazy! SO depressed Tony is even more depressed, came home and ate stuffing and mac and cheese after I was so good yesterday and today I cant let this stress beat me up! Ughghgh

Amber, I am so sorry about the house but know that the right one will definitely come along. If it takes longer, you can still get a short term rental and rent storage space for your furniture and other belongings on a month to month basis. We did that when we moved from New York to Boston. Yes, it is less than ideal but it is not torture and it is only temporary. Just know that this too shall pass -- this crummy period will be gone before you know it and you will be in a beautiful perfect home in 2013.

I am sick as a dog on top of everything, chills and body aches on Friday I went to work and left an hour later now it is still fever, cough and congestion, and zero energy! Ughgh this sucks this was our weekend we wanted to get a lot done with packing, but now last night Tony looks like he is getting it too! We are going to put in an offer on the house that is on short sale that we like and hope for the best, might mean moving to Mom's for a few months, OMG we cannot find one place around here to do a month to month rental, we have looked everywhere! The only place is $2200 a month which is crazy since we have to store our stuff too and that is no utilites that is more than our mortgage and taxes is going to be.
One good thing being sick my Christmas bloat is coming off, LOL I wieghed myself and was down 6 pounds since the day after Christmas so maybe illness is a good thing! LOL

Here's to a great 2013 with lots of exercise, good eating and a fantastic new home!

We have company until the 9th. We will eat in tonight, but restaurant meals for the next several nights. As much as I love these people, I will be ready for some very low calorie days!

I have been able to maintain , though, which is quite exciting. I saw a lot of people last night who have not seen me in almost a year. Had lots of comments, compliments on my smaller size. That was fun!

Cindy so glad you are joining the challenge with us!!!!! Seabreeze enjoy the friends, you look happy!!!! So ate the Atkins meal Beef Merlot, seemed to be mostly broccoli left me wanting more so I ate 2 hard boiled eggs with it! But it was tasty!!!! Went a whole day with no idle shoving of crap, LOL Now if I can string about 100 more days together I might get somewhere!!!!

So we went to the house last night it is really trashed once we saw it with the lights on but the realtor thinks we can get an even better deal, so it is going to need some love new flooring and painting, but it is 40,000 less than when we saw it in the spring, I guess they rented it and the people trashed it! So the offer is going on and we will wait and see what happens, it is the the ideal location, so while it would be nice to plunk the stuff in and get settled, we will have some work but oh well, it will be worth it!

Amber, that is great news about the house. $40K is a big discount and you and Tony might have fun fixing it up -- that way you can get exactly what you want from a floor and wall perspective. When we bought our place last summer, we painted a few walls and put in new carpet and actually had fun doing it!

Thanks for the review of the Atkins meals. I am going to WalMart this weekend to pick some up. I usually skip lunch which is awful or I buy a very overpriced salad so these meals will come in handy. I don't feel like eating salad for lunch when it is so cold out!
