nancy- I am so sorry to hear about the dog Oh what a shame!!!! I am glad to hear form you!!
Bella always nice to pop in, I know I miss people, they come and go, but it is what it is!!! IAM yep I am drinking my kefir! I was so sore yesterday the cut is right where I sit so I guess all the numbing meds wore off and by 5:00 last night I was so ready to come home and recline! I even got Robert sonic, I said hun I cant cook, so I went to sleep early and now this morning it feels so much better that sitting is the killer I guess. It isnt bleeding through anymore so that is good, and so far so good this morning! Shorter day which is good as Bobby has his band holiday concert at school, so everyone is coming over after I think I am going to order pizza and a salad for me, I just cant cook I know I am going to be wiped again! Birthday boy wants to go to the Philadelphia Art Museum for the day it is fabulous, you know the Rocky steps? that is the one, so I think we are going to have a day in Philly on Saturday. Sunday is the brunch at my boss's house with the private chef she hired to cook for us!

You have a great weekend planned! Please try to take it easy today and don't do too much so you will feel okay for the weekend. I love the Philadelphia Art Museum -- that will be really fun and interesting to spend the day in the city too.
Okay Bella, Danielle and Amber -- it is going to be a very good couple of days for Virgos according to astrologer Sally Brompton. We are supposed to be under lucky starts today, tomorrow and Saturday -- supposedly unexpected good things are going to happen for us. Lets hope so! Kitty, you are a Gemini and I have even better news for you. Jupiter, the planet of expansion, good fortune and travel, is in your sign for the next several months. This means that you can expect either a great travel plan/vacation or a financial windfall. Hope everyone has a great day today! |

Christine, I love Pisces people. You have some good stuff to look forward to in December. Around December 31, you are supposed to receive some kind of material gift. And on the full moon that hits on December 28 will light up your Fifth House, which controls relationships. Something really lovely and romantic will happen on that day. And, on December 15, Venus will enter your career sector -- so VIPs and bosses will all be saying nice things about you and will recognize your work.

Glad to hear the concert went well!! Everyone's trying to save money so that they can buy cheap imports from China, I guess! I just changed my car insurance, too! But that was because I realized that I was paying waaaaaay too much for my old clunker, and my premium is due in June/December, so it was on my mind.

Good luck with your house, Amber! It is a great sign that the people are coming back - it shows serious interest! The real estate market is finally picking up so we will keep our fingers crossed for you! I am glad the concert went well -- Bobby seems like such a terrific kid. Hope you have a great weekend and a fabulous time in Philly for Tony's birthday!

I am reading George Stellas cook books, they are really great easy stuff common ingredients and the pics look so good!!!
Also re reading parts of DANR, um like cream is limited to 3 T, I am drinking like 4 ounces a day in my coffee, I think that is a problem, sometimes you are like duhhhhhhhhh!!!! Cindy when is your B-day? I am actually right where I was last week, for goodness sake it moves up and down, and the right back but not bad considering I ate that cheesecake it wasn't really dense or sweet though like to me it was almost too tangy and I didn't eat any more even though half of it is in my fridge! Yesterday I thought I would try the starvation diet, 2 protein shakes that was 400 calories til 6:00 I was ready to eat my arm I am not doing that again! I was too lazy to pack lunch and went shopping for stupid vacuum cleaner bags and I didnt want to get something bad so I was starving that sucks! Tomorrow is the brunch at my boss's house with the chef she hired I know that is going to be trouble, but I am going to go weigh in and enjoy the day! I guess since I cant work out, me and Charlie will blab! I felt a little better yesterday defiantly wiped though like more tired than normal so I guess it all caught up, kicking butt at work though we are on track fora group bonus of $250 plus our own bonus so I am stokked I told my boss she needs to work a little harder, we want our bonus, LOL !!! She is so great! I have never worked for a better person, I just love her she is truly the most awesome person, I will take pics of the brunch so you all can see her! |

We love George Stella's cookbooks and you can still find a bunch of his recipes on the Food Network website too. He has great low carb muffin, crab cake, lasagne, asian stir fry and dessert recipes too.
Amber, I think your weight is going to go down now that you have had that surgery. If you reduce the cream, that will help. Have you ever tried the egg fast or the fat fast for two days? I hear they work really well in pushing through a stall. Please post pictures of the brunch. So glad that you work for a wonderful person -- it makes all the difference! Cindy -- Happy Birthday! This is a month of new beginnings for Sagittarians. There is a New Moon in your sign on Dec. 13 (Thursday) so that is a great day to kick of something new as luck will be on your side. Friday, Dec. 14 is a great career day for you. And from Dec. 15 to Jan. 8, Venus is in your sign -- so that bodes well for your weight loss. Venus rules love and beauty -- so you will get lots of Christmas gifts that will enhance your appearance and you will be able to stay on plan and not get tempted. Venus in your sign also makes you more magentic and popular than usual. Amber, Tony is a Sag so you can apply that forecst to him too! |

Happy Saturday ~ Finally finished the last of your first journals and I'm going to say it again .... it needs to be a book.
My Birthday is December 18th. Never heard of George Stella and what is DANR? I think I must live under a rock. Way to go with the bonus and have fun at brunch. I'm excited to see pictures. How was the Birthday in Philadelphia ?? Thanks Gail |

George Stella was a chef who lost like 200 pounds on low carb and his whole family lost weight love his cookbooks!
DANDR- is Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution his original book, LOL I might have missed some letters! LOL I like books that use easy to source stuff and not so much artificial crap, I get my artificial from splenda!!! I am glad you liked the journal, it is on-going that is for sure!! Your B-day is coming!!!! The museum was nice, long though all that walking was not the brightest idea so I was dog tired! Then we went to Wegmans to grocery shop we had dinner in the cafe I was so good I had 6 broiled scallops and zucchini stirfry! One beer, but nothng else, going through that bakery I said OMG get me out of here, Tony chose an eclair the size of his head to eat this morning for his B-day! 51 wow my old man is getting old!!! LOL So brunch today I am not going to the trainer since I cant train, so I have to email him my pic of the scale I am down 3 so that is good! I guess all the walking and being strict yesterday was good! Today will be a food bomb but I am looking forward to it my boss is so excited to do this for us I got a brie plank with cranberry topping to take and a little tussy mussy flower arrangement for her. |

Amber, it is GREAT that you did all that walking and got the scallops and zucchini stirfry (which sounds delicious by the way) because you are down three pounds! Congratulations!!! I cracked up about Tony getting an eclair the size of his head!
Please do post pictures of the brunch. I bet it will be lovely. Cindy, you should check out George Stella's cookbooks or his recipes online. They are really, really good and easy to make for the most part. I totally agree with Amber about the Dr. Atkins book too --- I hate super complicated recipes that have all of these crazy ingridients that you have to buy online or travel to health food stores to find. Have a great Sunday everyone! |

There are no pics, ughgh my boss had everything so pretty so we took a pic by her tree then it was time to eat and she is like we will take pics afterwards, then it never happened, we were leaving and I said June we never got pics, ughgh! OMG it was so nice, her house is beautiful! OMG I want to live there, I asked if we can move the office to her house, the food was so good, smoked prime rib and ham, quiche, belgium waffles, mixed veggies, homefries, homemade horseradish and mushroom sauce, then she made cheesecake and apple dumplings for the Birthday kids, it was just a very nice day! She had chine trees with candy in for all of us, I am up 4 pounds, LOL Oh well I am planning to be strict all week! It will come back off!

Amber, the brunch sounds awesome. You are lucky to have such a nice boss. I work in a nice group too and we all like to get together for dinners and such. Well, you know about our yacht lunches too! Oh guess what? Our Christmas party is at that ping pong club in NYC that is owned by Susan Sarandon. I was so excited to go and then I realized DD has her recital that night and I would never make it back in time. I was looking forward to whipping some butts with my mad ping pong skills!
