Yes it was good, LOL total carb bloat but I had like a bite of everything and 3 wings but I did have a small piece of icecream cake, my scale shows me up 1.4 pounds that is unheard of so we will see what I weigh at the trainers, I was expecting at least 7 pounds up in bloat!!!
I feel like I always have an injury report, we were moving the furniture and I jerked something in my back it is killing me! So I have heat on this morning before I leave for the trainers, good grief!!!

Today I am going to start wrapping, the kids did a beautiful job putting up the tree, I was so impressed, today I want to do the outside lights!

We met Tony's brothers new GF, 6 months they have been dating, she had colon cancer and he did too,so they have that in common, I really liked her she was fun and talkative so I am happy for him!

Yay -- I'm glad Tony's brother's girlfriend is a nice person -- that is fantastic. Don't you love having the Christmas decorations and the tree up? I love the smell of the tree and the look of the lights twinkling at night! You really did not gain much weight at all -- I bet it is all water weight anyway. You will lose that by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning at the very latest.

I really want to get our tree up and decorated...however, it is still so friggin warm here I don't want a dead tree by Christmas day We only have real trees, I can't seem to actually commit to a fake one..
Once classes are over I'm gonna have to bust my butt and get all the wrapping done and so forth before we head out to Vegas.. it'll be too nuts to try and get all that done in a day before Xmas!

Glad the meeting with the new GF went well. Wow on the cancer..is she doing well with treatments? That's a pretty intense way to bond with someone that's for sure! So glad he has found someone to be happy with!!

I gained 3 on his scale, but oh well, no wonder the sheer amount of pecan pie I ingested but back on track! Made my salad for today!!! I have been loving arugula lately!!!! I am so sick of chicken and turkey though, but it is good for you so I keep eating it I need lunch ideas, I think I dont eat enough during the day, and I take lunch at 11:30 so I am starving by 6 when I get home, have to have a snack at around 3 or something.

So got a lot done being off work was really nice, so I hope this week goes quickly!

OPTIONS

- Cottage cheese n blueberries
- Boiled chicken breasts, shredded, then tossed with Smokin Joe Joneos BBQ sauce
- Tilapia browned in a wee bit of coconut oil
- Boiled eggs, egg salad, or deviled eggs
- Chicken salad (get creative with seasonings/flavors)
- Protein muffins
- Spinach meatballs (recipe in my journal)

Be sure to drink plenty of water for the next few days, and green tea. Helps to rid the bloat.

Stretch at least 3 x a week to avoid injuries.

You got snow in Philly already? Ugh. We did not get anything up here in Boston but I suppose we are due now if you got a dusting. The Eagles still look really good, Amber. I think they will prevail. They are certainly better than the NY Jets!

I love the ideas that Twyla posted above and will try them too (especially the spinach meatballs which sound great and Tony will love those, LOL). Don't worry about the small gain, Amber. You will lose those three pounds and then some within 1-3 days quite easily.

I'm back on my greek yogurt kick this week. I have it as my late morning or mid afternoon snack. I'm usually a same-food kind of person too but sometimes I'll stop eating it for a while and then rediscover it and be like "Oh, this is so good!" Doh!

Yeah I come and go with the yogurt one thing I like not eating at our desk but it also means I never eat, so that is a problem, I made them pasta tonight and just ate the meatballs they were delish!!! It is so cold, we got a few inches of snow but it is freezing!

So next Tuesday night I am having surgery in the doctors office, he drained my lump today and said this is crazy, REALLY??? It is going to be 9 months of getting stuck weekly so he is going to numb me and try to stitch whatever this lymph sack is inside me so another 4-6" scar will be cut through my old one, Tony has to drive me so we are planning that, uhggh I hope I can sit next week!

Sorry to hear you have to have more surgery, but the alternative of being drained all the time is not good, either.

Yeah I am nervous but I will be glad to have it removed for good!!! My scale is not budging and I am being strict, but oh well I am going to keep plugging, I suspect my activity will be limited next week after surgery for a bit so better get all the exercise I can in. Our team for the biggest loser ordered shirts, they have the Charlie's Angles logo and say I only answer to Charlie, sort of cute since that is our trainer's name, all my idea! The one guy on the team is a big shot attorney and he offered to buy them all for us, sweet!!!!

Aw Cindy, man it is almost 9 months ago, it was a scary time, I felt terrible after that surgery and now 9 months of dealing with this lymphocele its like OMG, but I am still glad I did it, I am really hoping that when he cuts it open next week he will be able to heal it, I still think it is why I am not losing weight all that fluid and stuff running around in there. I cant even explain how wierd my stomach feels it is so numb and it still feels like it is not attached right a very odd feeling!

Yes I am going on over 2 years on this board it is really what pushed me through with the weight loss, all that support, and everyone in the same boat! You can do it too!!!!I always say if I can do it anyone can, it is a battle everyday and it is really hard for me to keep it off I have to work out and be so diligent, my bod just wants to pack it on, it sucks I always say if I could have had that powerball ticket or a normal metabolism I would choose the metabolism!

SO anyways Cindy make a journal and we will support you everyone is in the same boat, I am still fat, I am still trying to lose weight and it is frustrating as hell! I think why cant I lose like other people anymore, girls at the gym are eating subway and pizza and cookies and lose 4 pounds I am measuring recording working out and nothing it is like good grief! It is always going to be a struggle!

TGIF!!!!! I am so dog tired this week! I am looking forward to no kids and sleeping in this weekend! Tony is in a bad mood ughghg so maybe the weekend will knock him back to normal job stress for him, ughghghg
