Hello again Amber!!

I hope you feel better soon. I agree with others to get it checked out if it doesn't go away...

Have fun at the casino!! Good luck too.

Have a great day,

Jenna

Yeah I think its strange every other time I get so careful I drop a few pounds right away and now its not budging! I guess I will have to call the family doctor soon!

So I take Nan to the foot doctor and he sliced her she is on coumadin so she is bleeding like crazy, now her foot is in a huge sling, blood everywhere, good grief she is like I must go to the casino, LOL I said you will get there but we might have to wait til Friday I pity her almost 91 and now this, he was scraping her and he said an artery must have been near the surface!!!

Amber - if Nan's foot doesn't get better take her to a "wound care" specialist. Some of the large hospitals have them.

My husband had that problem - coumadin + swollen legs + varicose veins = unstoppable bleeding. The emergency room couldn't even figure out what to do (would start again later).

Wound care doc shot (literally, with a needle) epinephrin into the vein to shut it down. Finally worked.

KT- it is done bleeding and she said it doesnt hurt, holy crap what a bloody mess though you would think she had no blood left she is hell on wheels to go today I dont know if I should take her or not, she is walking pretty good, I told her she must wear her fancy velcro shoe they gave her! LOL

Ughg I feel so bad for her, finally a small loss! Good grief! With not drinking 1200 drinks all day like I was last week you would think it would be coming off, heading to the gym, I am going to burn it off somehow.

Ah, well, if it has stopped bleeding...most of the time it would eventually resolve after a long time under those ace bandage wraps. I hope it doesn't start up again!

Oh, my...I don't have experience with gain from drinking since alcohol makes me so ill. I have always heard alcohol is evil for weight gain, but goes to the belly rather than the hips and should be easier to get off (I hope!).

Yay for Nan's big win!
I never win and my $20 is usually gone is a few minutes - which is why I only play the penny slots!

Yes, I am also a big LOSER when it comes to slots or blackjack or whatever. So I too favor the penny slots, nothing more expensive than the 5 cent ones. Glad Nan had fun!

On the alcohol subject, I like my wine and strangely enough my scale does too. I usually have a 1-2 pound drop after a night of a few glasses of wine, even if I eat a relatively large amount of food...who knows? Everyone is different!

Have a great night, Amber!

Good morning girls, well I met with my trainer yesterday that was good, of course I am feeling it this morning! My weight is barely budging but I know I am eating well and I made it to the gym all 5 days, thank goodness!!!

Tony and I went to see Hope Springs last night, what a great movie, go see it, you will love it!!! I discovered something not good Pepsi Next with mango, well I had to try it, but it has HFCS and I couldnt read the label in the theater but it says 100 calories all from sugar, so not going to have again, but it was tasty! Surprisingly I was down .4 after drinking that, go figure makes no sense.

So today I am going to the gym again, tomorrow if the weather holds we are going on a bike trial 25 miles one way that will be 50 round trip I never rode my bike that far on a trail so I am a little nervous, but what the heck?

Have a good weekend!

Whoa! That is a long ride. Too long! Make sure you bring a backpack full of water and energy snacks. And ADVIL. Shoot, 50 miles? That's almost to the coast from here! I can't imagine riding my bike to the coast.

GO AMBER!!! You are such a badass.

Seriously, go buy a 3 liter Hydration pack before your ride. They are awesome. (We bought the Osprey brand, after much research, I deemed it the very best. And it is!)

Amber - wow, that is a long bike ride!!! I've done 25-ish miles tops round trip. My seat was so sore the first time. After that, I shifted around a lot on the seat to take my weight off the seat by putting weight on my feet on the pedals as much as I can.

I bought a pair of padded bike shorts, but I don't think they really do much.

50 miles - did you say 50 miles? Yikes! That is a long bike ride for someone who doesn't do it everyday. Good luck!

Ok now you guys are scaring me!! I was secretly hoping it was going to rain! LOL But alas it is beautiful, OMG now I am worried, I never ride my bike outside and I am so freaking fat I am afraid the tires are going to flatten! LOL I guess we will see how it goes, I gotta remember if I start getting tired I have to do that much to get back, the first part is all uphills so that is the worst. I told him I thought that sounded too long, then he wanted to stop and do some 4 mile hike, I was like no sir if you get me pedaling 50 miles that is enough!

So I had a huge whoosh this morning, freaking finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went shopping got all good stuff for the week to stay on plan, I did my vitamins and supplements I have to remember to take them, I decided to use raw milk for the CLA's in my coffee instead of half and half and see how that goes. Meet with my trainer tomorrow so I am happy about that.

So yesterday I got a wild hair and decided to buy 2 lottery tickets, a $1 and a $2, won $44 freaking dollars, took the $4 and won another $2 and another free ticket, now I have 2 more training sessions!!!!!! Yippee

Hope you are okay out there, Amber! I bought myself one of those gigantic extra wide cushy gel comfort seats for my bike-- really made a difference! I'm too fat and heavy and namy pamby for a regular bike seat. They hurt.

Well we did the bike ride not sure exactly how far we got, I guess somewhere between 15-20 miles, thank God my for my husband and his bad knees, LOL We had to cut it short and that was A-OK with me, I had not prepared for how bad my butt would hurt but my biggest problem is the death grip, my arms are so sore that is what is killing me, my legs were fine. For whatever reason he needs a metric alan wrench to raise my handlebars, I was so bent over and clinging for dear life, I get really nervous when someone comes at me or when we go on the road. Also the bug factor I am sure I swallowed 50 bugs out there, that I did not like, I am not so fond of this trail riding, for one you know I don't love the great outdoors, LOL It was dirty, and buggy and sweaty I was so freaking hungry we went to the diner and I had a pannini, yes I ate bread, but damn I deserved it, LOL He says we are going to tackle more of this trail that goes like 90 miles total, I said maybe 50 was sort of aggressive for a first outing, you know riding on a stationary bike 50 miles doesn't seem that far but on gravel and hills damn man I was beat!

So then we watched Hunger Games I have to say I found this disturbing not sure why kids like ours are into this, all I could htink is damn if our lazy kids were out there they would be the first ones offed, LOL Not a good thing at all these movies, but I guess the kids are able to overlook the grim aspects, I guess cause they are not parents.

So I am waiting for my little man he starts 6th grade tomorrow my baby, ughg I hate that he is getting so big. I feel old, whole new routine tomorrow, Tony is going away on business then he comes home to his first colonoscopy and no solid food for 36hours, man that is rough!

Amber, you did great. I have to have carbs when I do endurance exercise, I have no clue how people can do it and not hit the wall otherwise. I'm not much of an outdoor person. Everyone in Seattle seems to be, I am like an alien here! I like bike riding OK but don't crave it (I wish I did).

Bugs? Hmmm, that could be a deal breaker, gads!

So I am at a portly 221, better then the 233 last Sunday when we got home, I will take 12 pounds lost but it took its good old time! Now this week will be telling since the old bod had a chance to adjust to being home and going to the gym everyday! I am very proud I had 7 days of exercise I know that is what I need to do to lose this, I am so mad that I let myself get so far out of hand, but no sense crying about it, I just need to do it!

Izzy- yeah his procedure is on Thursday at 2:00 pm, starting Wed no solid food, and nothing from midnight Wed he is going to be a bear!!!!

Good Morning, Amber! WOW YOU ARE AWESOME! What a ride! Ouch Ouch Ouch. I have a mountain bike from long ago (when I was thin and rode without any issues) but now I have my eye on one of those big fat comfort cruisers with the 21 gears and fat seats and nice high handlebars. YEAH! That's how I want to ride. Like cruising around on a sofa.

I'm with you-- no need to cry about it, just need to do it!

Hey girl! So glad you survived the ride. Ooooooo. I must say I'm in total agreement about the sweat, and dirt and bugs! YUK! I'm not a wilderness chick. I do like sailing in a gator-free, mostly snake-free lake. But that's about it.

Wow Bobby is growing up!!! Poor Mama! It's hard adjusting!!!

Yay for you back down in weight!!!! That's awesome!!! 221lbs is less than me this morning. No doubt you will drop it and leave me in the dust once more!!

Sorry to hear of your gran's foot. Glad she persevered and won so much!! Dang!!! It sounds like so much fun as does your gran. What a hoot.

Can't wait to see the Hope movie and have ZERO desire to watch Hunger Games. Just her name pizzes me off! Catness. Please... Can y'all start calling me Pootness?

Sorry to hear of Tony's approaching colon blow. 36 hours is doable! Just make lots of jello for him! That stuff is oddly filling and comforting.
