Hey Kristi- I am glad you had the appt I knew you would like it. I have not been to the gym in 2 weeks since I started doing these bootcamp MMA workouts,I am wondering if I should do less of these and still do the lifting at the gym, this is killing my knees I hate that they are hurting all the time, I am debating if it is too much for an old woman, LOL

Busy day again, back to that darn courthouse for the passport, ughg I hate going down there, then the interview this afternoon, some kind of test there too, ughg I hope its not math!

Tomorrow is nothing, and I am glad!!!!!

You should ask the mma trainers, or maybe you can get a knee brace to absorb some of the weight? Google is always a great resource!

Good luck today! You've got this
I agree with PS (and every one of your lcf) DON'T STRESS ABOUT THE ##S!!!! You look fabulous and you're strong, healthy, and you can wear anything you want. Enjoy it! Besides, no one sees the ## on the scale but you, and you certainly don't look near 200.
Have a great day!

Morning!!!!!!

Prayers for a sucessful interview. I know you will blow her away.

Yea, James uses a knee brace. He think football messed his knee up so now he can't run on concrete or paved surfaces. Only on fields. It relieves the pressure he said.

Hope your day goes well. Mixing up the workout venues might be fun and give the knees a bit of a rest.

Hugs to ALL

Computers do all their math now. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult if you have to do any math...at least that is how our office is...plug info into computer and wait! They'd be lucky to have you! Hope it goes well!

Remember, I saw you in person! Never would think you weigh wht you do. ...and...you lost since then! Hubby always says about proportion being important....you got that girl! I'd just eat well, exercise, and be the best you can be. Don't focus on the number so much. Give it a break. Who knows, may happen later. Hugs!

I can't stress this damn scale, I am wearing almost all size 12's and larges and mediums, I measured my stomach today it is 5" smaller that is a lot good grief it took me like 50 pounds to lose 3". My arms continue to firm up and show defination so I have to focus on that. I asked MMA guys today he thinks my knees will ease up in a few weeks he said it is all the new motions, the bag kicking especially but he said if it gets worse to let them know.

My big moment today jumping on that box, a 2 foot box it was so scary we always step up, but I said today I want to jump so I did 10 like holding his forearms, which had its glory moment, LOL then he counted and said OK you are going to do it all alone, it is so scary it was ridiculous. But I felt totally empoweredthe second jump I jumped almost off of it, LOL the trainer was screaming OMG you did it, I am so proud of you, look at mama the oldest person here and she did it, I was like geez thanks for pointing out how freaking old I am, LOL But wow I need those physcial moments to realize that I am so much healthier and stronger then I ever thought I could be, and so what if I weigh 180 or 210 as long as I keep working on getting stronger.

And I got the job, OMG a grueling 2 hours, the personality test, she said it showed I am exactly like her, thrives in chaos, multitasker etc, she said she felt a connection to me too at the job fair, she said look at this stack of resumes, you are the first person I called. Then I had to read over this auto thing and role play, I had to be the agent and she was a customer, so then she said well I never do this, but I want to offer you the job. So upfront the money is less than I was making but I could be making $20K more than I was in 2 years, she pays for the test and materials so I can study the rest of the summer and start Sept 1, so I can have the summer with the kids and then get back to work in the Fall, I am so excited I really am, the more I was with her today I just really like her, and it is a new career path, but hey even in a bad economy people still need insurance! So Tony was supportive, he said he wants me to be happy, and he recognizes it is a good career going forward especially with someone so successful, she has been doing this almost 35 years, she didnt tell me her age but I am guessing late 50's early 60's? She has a staff of 6 so it is small, everyone seems nice, working with women, oh boy!!! But I am excited, the job hunt sucks, it is close to home so no big commute in bad weather, the hours are good, one evening til 8, but not too bad,no weekends, so that is good. So I am happy, I think it will be good, they have so many lines there, mutual funds, banking, all kinds of stuff beside home and auto insurance, so she said one thing at a time as I learn I will take on more and more tests! So I am taking it as a sign that prayers are being answered and I am grateful, times are tough!!I found that out, now if we get an offer on the house we can move forward with a mortgage etc.

Congratulations on the new job. Now you will have your summer with Bobby and then go back to work when school starts. Not perfect with less pay, but it sounds as if there is a lot of potential.

Enjoy the rest of the week without worrying about job fairs, etc.

Hugs

OMG I teared up reading about the box jumps. I see people do those on tv and I think of how incredibly hard they would be. I'm so proud of you!

JC- yeah the exercise always beats the job, LOL So Tony is sad the guy he worked with at his old firm for 15 years and then came to the new place gave his notice, so today is his last day, he loves bacon so everyone was making bacon recipes, Tony maybe bananas with brown sugar and bacon, it sounded gross but was actually good, not sure how it will be heated up, but they will be partying. I really prayed and thought about the job last night, am I settling because the hunt sucks, but I have to go with my gut, I really felt good about this woman, and like she said as I can write more business my pay will go up and the faster I learn the more licenses I can get to I am feeling confident in my decision. It is a position you can make a career out of, I know people who have been in it for years, so I really dont want to go through a lay off again. So I am taking the kids to the Farmers Market, we need to wrap the Daddy gifts, and get the cards ready, my niece has a party tomorrow I ordered her gift which still has not arrived. I guess if it doesnt come I put a picture of it in her card? Ughgh, they are having a huge waterslide set up like a 2 story thing, I think my cousin paid almost $1000 for a rental of this thing, so it should be interesting, LOL

OMG I am soooooo happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A new job and an accomplishment at the bootcamp. I don't even think I can jump on a freaking box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOO AMBER!!!!!!! And starting after the summer!!! That is great. It is always good when you have a good vibe about the boss. and for her to choose you out of all those applicants says a LOT about the type of person you are. People can see the good in you just from a few words. THAT IS AWESOME!!!

And yes don't worry about the scale. At my lowest, 170, I was a size 4/6!!!!!!!!!! Everyone's body is made up different. I carry most of my weight up top. But I gaurantee you, I have never seen a number lower than 170 and I wore mostly 6's but had skirts and dress slacks in 4's!!! So, don't worry about the number.

Wow, woman!!!! I was just into a 12 at 170!!! Definitely an indication of how we're all different. I don't think I'll ever see a four in my life!

YES!!!!!!!!!! it hurt my heart to give all those smaller clothes away. But yes, that just goes to show we are all different. I did have a little skin on my lower tummy but it wasn't that much. I will look for a pic so yall can see.
