OMG the school of nursing is $26K, they had a rough financial aid thing it says we get nothing, but I will go and check with this Career Link and see if thye have any ideas, I hate the idea of student loans again, we have Tony's mine were paid off years ago, but I guess now is the time to check it out!

So I have worked out everyday, at the gym then this MMA place- eating clean not one bad carby crap has passed my lips, I am up........................7 pounds since Monday, 7 and I had no junk?????????? I dont know if it is my still swollen belly from surgery or what, but this is nuts! Is it the heat cause it started getting humid yesterday I dont know but that about floored me today! 212 I am like how can that freaking be? I didnt even have anything yummy and naughty, good grief I am so pissed I stepped on that freaking scale!

So I am excited today to go meet a lady that a TT here with another doc around the time that I did, we are meeting at Chilis I am planning on salad, I had a shake for breakfast. Oh well, MMA class is tonight, they have a yoga class tomorrow, frankly I can barely move, so I am thinking I might have to skip it, I can hardly sit down on the toilet, LOL My butt and thighs are sooo sore, my knees hurt too and my knees never hurt I think it is all that kicking, he said they will get used to it, I am like well when?? LOL

Looks like a nice weekend, Mom is taking the kids to see Snow White after school so I can go to lunch!

I'm sure your body is rebelling a bit!! It doesn't know what hit it. There is probably a lot of fluid in the muscles. How do the clothes fit? That is such a much better gauge than the scale.

Its probably just the workouts. Take a break from the scale and just focus on your exercise and diet. you know what to do and what works. leave the evil scale alone.

Make an appointment to sit with someone in the finacial aid office. They know about all the various programs, etc you could qualify for!

It has to be the workouts. In a few days it will all calm down. I know all too well how frustrating it is!!!!! We are getting healthy and replacing FAT with MUSCLE!!!!! Way better for us than what the scale reads.... even though the scale is the only thing that makes us feel better.... We will get there!!!

Honestly Amber, you do NOT look like a woman who has a "2" in front of her number. AT ALL! I would KILL to look like that! You are doing the right things, and I know it's gotta be all the exercising you're doing this past week. Keep loving yourself and know that you are a rock star, chick!

I totally agree with Danielle! I mean, have you ever worked out like that? Not only are you building TONS of muscle, those muscles retain lots of water as they build. You might want to get a scale like mine that will tell you if you are gaining water, muscle, or fat. I KNOW you are NOT gaining fat! There is just no way!

Don't let the scale get you down! You are rock'n it! If you are still worried about it, just talk to the instructors. I'm sure that they have heard it before!

Well I have been working out for over 19 months now so nothing new, it is just weird that I have such a big gain! Lunch was nice, she was like how do we way the same, I am fat, LOL she is like 8 inches shorter,it was nice to see someone else's tummy, her BB is messed up, I got the grilled shrimp tacos and didn't eat the tortilla shells. Went to the consignment shop and got two suits with skirts and pant and blazer for $20, size 12, so I can live with that, I am destined to be 200 pounds I think, LOL

My knees hurt so bad I cant sit on the toilet how bad is that???

You might have worked out a lot for a while, but you've been off for a bit too. The body is saying wt? Is up! Is it working out or not! Can be humidity too.

I think once you get healed and of course buy new pretties in this size, you will lose again.

Yup what kitty and the girls said. I suspect with the intensity of the workouts (never heard ya complain about being so sore in the past) you're probably retaining a TON of water during that repair phase the muscles are in. Step away from the scale, or at least try not to focus on it for a couple weeks. Once your body adjusts to this level of intensity then it will level off, and your pants will fall off hehe.

Keep investigating the nursing stuff if its something you really want. If its meant to be a way will be found.

The lunch sounds lovely! (oh and I'd kill to be in a size 12 girl!!)

I am going this morning to the MMA place its a new class called Cardio kick, so that should wear me out, they said it was going to hit 90 today and now it is called and dark like it is going to rain, we spent all this money on the pool membership we were hoping to get the kids there today! My old boss wrote me on Faceook, um after 6 weeks, I was pretty ticked he never called me but he redeemed himself even if it was 6 weeks too late, LOL

OMG we watched Warhorse last night, what a great movie, I bawled my eyes out, then I hear the triple crown contender today got pulled OMG I am so sad, but I am glad they found his problem so nothing happens! We were going to have a horse race party with the kids.

So that is the big plan for today!

Watched that Extreme weight loss edition, wow 200 pounds this guy lost in a year, had his stomach and legs done but they never showed the end result it is the one with Chris Powell, what a great story with that guy. Have to go on line and see if I can see him after surgery.

Well did the cardio kick now I have done all the classes, I think I like the bootcamp one best, todays exercise is laying on my fat butt at the pool, it is going to be 92, I will walk there but it is not that far, LOL Bobby had a game last night til 10:00 pm, one more game Tuesday and baseball is over, Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!! We got a lot of sun yesterday at the pool too, it was cloudy but lots of rays!!

Have a pork tenderloin marinating, and maybe cesar salad again since I still have anchovies, that is sounding good and easy for tonight.

Yay for baseball season over. Whats next?

Good stuff doing all the different classes. Now you know what ones you like and what ones you can give a big pass to. The knees are probably sore from all that kicking climbing and whatever else you nutty people do at the gym.

Wow girl! I think you would rock as a nurse!!!! Do it! Job security for um, forever! You could also then become an obesity or diabetic counselor!!! It's the short track to doing that! Do it!!! Go talk to a financial aid counsellor!!!

Sorry about the weight going up. I too think it's fluid from over stressed muscles and inflammation! But geeze! How trying. Maybe you should start putting the info in ****** and start tracking it with a spread sheet?

I'm about to start doing that. My sense is that I'm eating more than I realize at a higher carb level than I know. But hell! I don't wanna track my food! Too tiring! i will, if you will?

poot- I always track in ******, or I would be eating half the house, LOL I gotta try something this week or see if it goes down like last time when the humidity went away I still think alot of it is my stupid stomach that wont heal!!!

my kind of exercising!

I think it is a combo Hun. Just eat well, exercise when you can, and know it will eventually go away.

I get drained again on Wed, he has no idea when this darn thing will go away he said he never had a patient with one that hung around this long, so lucky me!! I told him last time my weight was up and he just said its swelling from the humidity and stuff, we will see I can always tell it gets really spongy feeling when I go up, so I guess I will live with it, went and did my MMA bag class, holy crap running sprints, punching, kicking, it is a real workout and they yell at you higher, faster, LOL I want to say F you!!! LOL I really need to measure cause I swear my arms are tighter already from a week of this darn class!

Hey Amber, has it been 3 months? That's the time I swelled the worst, I looked 5 months pregnant! It was horrible! Can you ask the doctor about stitches, I read with seromas it can be caused by the stitching somehow....
