Oh honey, so sorry about your day yesterday. Sounds like he might not be ready for potty training if he is pooping all that much. Just My honest opinion. Put him back in diapers for your sanity.

Way to stay away from the pizza. Keep it up and resist. You are doing awesome!!!!!

I had a little boy about his age that I was training for his mom. He was so funny.... Every time I put his pants on him he would fill them! If he had trainers on he wouldnt! I finally caught on when he asked to put on his big boy pants and then filled them in 10 minutes... So I started making him wear NOTHING! He went 2 days with out going at all. Then one day he was standing quietly in the corner of the kitchen. I couldnt figure out why he wasnt moving... then I saw the pile on the floor behind him... he thought if he didnt move I would not see it there. OK so this old lady made him pick it up with his hands (dont we wind up with IT on our hands sometimes when we clean up after them...or is it between our toes ) and deposit IT in the toilet. Then he had to scrub the floor clean. I told him to expect that every time he pooped anywhere but the toilet! Even if it was in his pants or pullup. Well I was true to my word! He washed out several pair of underware and had to wash himself too... I refused to touch him! About a week of that & he had enough.... it was the potty from then forward. Thanks for letting me walk down memory lane and take you with me....

I have no offer of what to do to help you except that which was suggested...put the pullups back on....

Keep on with your great work! You rock!!

Ok, I'm here.

Confession time

Saturday..... Pizza....

Do I really need to say more? Probably not, but I will . We have been installing new flooring this past weekend and I could not access my kitchen well at all. It was not even great pizza. It was just easy. But it was only on Saturday and I got back on on Sunday.

I have a pic of the floors:

I'm up to 248.4 today . I'm not gonna get too worked up about it though. I am worried about my head though. I'm wondering if this was some sort of self sabotage encouraged by my fallacious beliefs about my undeserving-ness and/or inability to accomplish my weight loss goals.

How messed up is it that we have to worry about our own minds being a sort of double agent working against us.

But I think that I'm doing good because instead of letting my head go into dig your own pit mode I'm recognizing it before I've dug much more than a ditch.

Gotta go make dinner. I'll try to come back later and catch up with my over full control panel.

I'M BACK!

I have been having a hard time getting to the computer. But I have a little bit before bed.

I am soooo loving the floors! DH got off of work early today and got a few more boards down. Now the living room and dining room are officially finished. Now we just need to get the kitchen, hallway, entryway, and stairs done and get the molding put on and do some touch up painting and get the crown molding put up. But I have a floor in the living and dining room, I'm happy.

Here's my day:

I sure feel like I ate a lot more than 882 calories and 5 carbs. It's actually more than 5 carbs. The online food journal did not account for the fried chicken carbs.

Planning a low carb 4th of July.

Normally I'm feeling pretty gabby. But I'm feeling pretty brain dead right now.

Praying for a lower number on the scale tomorrow !

I've been kind of busy the past few days. I'm sure we all have been. Sorry I was away, but I'm back (and there's nothing you can do about it ).

So, I ate like a pig today. But I was a low carb pig, so it's all good. I had 1,713 calories and 22 carbs. I was looking at my meals and I realized something. At lunch and at dinner I probably ate almost twice what I needed to. I really only need to eat one hot link to make a meal. But at lunch AND dinner I ate almost 2. I mean, those freaking things are huge! But, my oink oink brain gets all homer simpson with the drool and goes into scarf a bunch because it tastes so dang lip smack'n good mode. Note to self: eat what you need, not what you want.

My weight has been all annoying bouncing to a new low and then going up instead of down. It was 246.4 this morning. It was at 245 the other day teasing me getting me all excited. I'm all about to have a scale-gasm of joy thinking that it's finally going to get into a downward trend. And then BOOM!

What does that scale know any how right?

Mantra: I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number, I am more than a number............

Unless of course I like the number. The I'll be a total hypocrite and totally own the the number.

I went tried to make up for lost cardio time and worked out for 75 minutes today on my elliptical today. I just love that feeling after working out. When you are a sweaty stinky mess and look like crap, but you know that you had an awesome work out. I just hope nobody ever sees me like that! If somebody came to the door I think that I would just l let our big o'll doberman scare them off. Probably less scary than my face at that moment.

Did I mention that my oven broke? Well, it broke. The freaking thing broke on the 4th of July when I was had my pan of jalapeno poppers all ready to put in. I ended up putting them on the bbq and burning the daylights out of them.

But, I'm getting a brand new swanky one tomorrow!

Since DH has to take the stove out tomorrow to put the new bamboo floors in the kitchen anyhow, we are picking (read I am) picking up the new stove tomorrow while DH is installing floors tomorrow.

I'm all excited that I got to pick out the stove that I wanted. I got one that is a convection oven with the "power burner" that has 17,000 btu's and has 5 burners. So happy! I was blessed enough that if I am going to have a large appliance break it did so on a holiday famous for huge sales. Got a great deal on it. So glad we keep a $1,000 emergency fund so we don't have to do any credit card stuff. We have been working on getting out of credit card debt for a while now and don't want to start putting stuff on a card when we are so close to getting it all paid off.

Night guys!

I AM MORE THAN A NUMBER! I'm going to try to beat that in my head today.

Nice! Sounds like a great stove! I love getting new appliances it totally makes up for spending money we don't have.

I keep telling the Hubster that we need to have $1000 emergency fund. I read Dave Ramsey's book "The Total Money Makeover". and he says to do that too. It you haven't read it it's a great book, and it's an easy read. I don't usually get into that kind of stuff but he put it in a way that even people like me would get it. I've been trying to get my husband to read it but he's a knob.

Oh I love Dave Ramsey! DH and I did the whole Dave Ramsey finiancial peace university thing and that's how we started our no debt thing. It's been a few years, and we are still working on it. If we had not decided to take a couple trips and spend some money on some stuff for the house we would have our credit card all paid off by now. But, we're on track . We still pay cash for everything and don't buy stuff if we don't have the money for it.

Here is a link to the new stove:

Shop Frigidaire Gallery 30-in 5-Burner Freestanding Convection Gas Range (White) at Lowes.com

Now I just need to figure out where to go get dinner. I still have my DH on his hands and knees, my favorite place for him to be . He is on his hands and knees in the kitchen working on the flooring and he still has at least an hour before he can start to put the appliances back and get the new stove out of the back of the van.

Foods cook much faster in convection ovens. Convection cooking speeds up the chemical reactions of food during cooking. Baked goods release steam quicker, roasted meats render fats sooner and sugars in vegetables caramelize faster. A convection oven cooks food 25 percent faster than a conventional oven.

This part sold me!

We will be in the market for a new stove in the near future. I think I'd like to check out the convection ovens. It also says it saves energy.

Yeah totally! I love the idea of more tender roasts and everything cooking quicker. I can't wait to use the extra high power burner on mine.

I am soooo excited!

I am so happy you are getting your house done. Mine was in renovation from maybe October last year til May this year & I still have a very few minor things left like some caulking but I just want to quit for a while. Floors look great! I got new flooring in every room, totally new bath & kitchen and all the walls & wood refinished & upgraged to white!

I cant help but think with the lovely light color you wont have any more "squishy toes" if you know what I mean... you will be able to see everything on it!

I have a theory on this journey we are on to better health & a better us.... sometimes life just happens & you have to go with the day GUILT FREE!!!! So if pizza is in order due to circumstances & your body says eat....Just do it! But be SENSIBLE & go on with life as you are remaking it with out the guilt.

I just your attitude!

I was just thinking about how you plan to clean your new floors. If you dont have one I might suggest looking into the Shark Steam Mop. I would not get the one with the removable steamer...it is heavier & the steamer doesnt work as well as the one that is one unit. I have the professional steam mop and find it the easiest BEST way to clean them. Just a thought...... & the new stove looks great! Love convection especially for crunchy food!

Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking at steam mops at lowes yesterday. They had one that was a vac and steam kind. Looked pretty neat. I got a little bissle easy sweep like this:

My DD6 was going crazy with the demo in the store and it got me thinking..... So I bought it in the hopes that I can get her to do a lot of floor cleaning. Both of the kids just LOVE it! I want to see if I can get some child slave labor going on . It works pretty good so far.

I've been rock'n out around the house trying to get it cleaned up. But I don't think that's enough exercise. I still need to go work out.

MUST GO WORK OUT!
