Good morning! I went to Gracie's field trip yesterday at the zoo and didn't have time to check in. We also had summer league basketball and hockey last night I'm in a rush this morning, have a sales meeting. First gotta get kids to school! Anyhoo, I got sunburned on Sunday at 6 hour track meet so not weighing until the puffiness goes away. Today is a DD and I need it. My weekend consisted of food, drinks, family, and friends!

Happy Hump Day Yesterday was a pretty decent DD - ended at 664 calories for the day. I had coffee, apple, pear, and a McDonalds grilled chicken southwest salad - love those things!!! I've also discovered the extra virgin coconut oil and LOVE it I can seriously put it on a spoon and add splenda and eat it That stuff could be dangerous - I could definitely overeat. I've been trying to add some each day for the health benefits. I've also been putting it on my face and body. The only thing I don't like is it makes my face oily and my make-up (eyeliner) runs. Need to figure this one out I weighed this morning and I'm up from last week. My weekend was way out of control though. I went out Friday with girlfriends for some drinks. We met a local bar to go over fundraising ideas for the family with the 9th grader who has leukemia. Then when I got home I hadn't eaten any dinner and I ate some crap before bed Saturday was my bday party and I ate pretty much whatever was there. Sunday was the track meet in the steaming hot sun for 6 flippin' hours!!! I got super sunburned and ate terrible. Me and DH split and italian hoagie and french fries Anyhoo, my weight this morning was 192.0 lbs. - I guess it could be worse. Hoping to get back down in the 180's before this weekend. We are going to our camp at the lake I'm sure my eating there will be atrocious Just kidding! I'm going to buy lots of fruits and meats to grill so I won't be tempted. Not sure what to do today - I've had coffee/cream and some coconut oil. I'm thinking a low-carb UD.

Oh goodness Gracie my P2 brain can't handle all the yummy foods you had. It will come off with just some clean eating as you have proven before. Glad you discovered new foods and enjoyed time with family and friends. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hey Gracie, no worries..the weight will go back down. You're doing great with JUDDD! I know you're looking forward to going to the lake this weekend..it's suppose to be really hot, perfect swimming weather. I'm so glad this will be the first Saturday in months that I can do other stuff...we've been doing basketball then track since December. Happy Hump day..the week is almost over!!

Sorry Maggie! I remember being in P2 and fantasizing about all the awesome foods I wanted to eat. You are doing fantastic Maggie!!!

I saw the forecast for the next 5 days and it's awesome!!!! Hot and sunny, like in the 90's!!! Perfect boating weather I need a vacation

Disclaimer for MAGGIE: Do not read - major food post!

After yesterday's UD my weight is 192.2 lbs. - so only a 0.2 lb gain. Not bad at all!!!! I didn't eat anything until lunch because I was going out with a client. We went to a Mediterranean restaurant. I had grilled lamb/filet kabobs They came with a hummus dip appetizer/pita bread, rice w/pine nuts, 2 small stuffed grape leaves, 1 small eggplant parmesan, and 2 lamb/filet kabobs with veggies. I also had a tossed salad with ranch prior to the meal!!! It was so freakin' good!!! I ate most of it too. Then about an hour later I had a vanilla fudge ice cream cone at home At about 4:30-5:00 I had a bowl of dry cereal (Cinnabon). For dinner I had 3 pieces of hot sausage in sauce w/peppers & onions. I also had a little sugary snack after that. I did not count my calories at all So, the 0.2# gain was well worth it!

Today is a DD and I've had coffee/cream and added some coconut oil. Maybe the coconut oil is helping? Who knows! I love the stuff. Today my goal is stay around 400-700 calories (depending on how I feel). Hoping to be back in the 180's tomorrow and then onto our lake weekend!!! YAY

Back from a nice, relaxing weekend. We got back last night around 9 pm. I haven't unpacked yet! The weather was fantastic - lots of sun and temps in the 90's. We boated all weekend and the kids skiied, wakeboarded, and tubed. I didn't want to come home!

I am doing a DD today and will probably weigh either tomorrow or Friday (after Thursdays DD). I've been using my coconut oil every day and it definitely helps with my mood. My eating wasn't too bad over the weekend and I had some beers on Friday night and on Sunday. I'm not going to stress over it - I enjoyed myself and had a blast with family and friends

I definitely want to start exercising. I'm thinking of alternating things like callanetics, walking, and free weights. I want to feel stronger! I'm going to take it one day at a time and try to do something for 30 minutes. I know that I feel so much better when I'm exercising. Anyhoo, everyone have a great day!

Glad you and family had a great time. I'm joining you on the exercise front..I want and need to feel my healthiest again. My treadmill is collecting dust..shameful. Good luck on your DD!

Good morning! Pati, so glad you are back Well, TOM showed up this morning a day or two early so now I know why my back was hurting! I did weigh this morning and I'm up 1.6 lbs. from last week. Not too bad considering I ate whatever I wanted over the 4 day weekend and TOM starting. I had a good DD yesterday but didn't really track calories. I waited til dinner to eat and I had an onion burger patty w/cheese and avocado. I did sneak a couple french fries w/ranch though I would guess my calories were around 600 or less. I'm still using my coconut oil every day and loving it!!! I definitely see a difference in my energy level and mood. My skin is also looking much better I wish I would've tried this stuff years ago

Do you ladies want to start an exercise challenge with me? I keep saying I'm going to do something but never start!!!! I need some motivation. With TOM starting today I'm probably just gonna curl up in a ball I have a meeting @ 11:00 am so I've gotta run..... BBL!!!

I used to play a game of tag with other ladies on another board that we called "Tag". Of course there is a game called Tag. What we did is have emoticons that represented different exercises like example......

= 25 jumping Jacks

At anytime you could go to the person's journal and say "Tag, you're it!" The person had to do 25 jumping Jacks and report back that it was done and then they would tag someone else so that each person that was in the game of exercising got some exercise in for the day.

It actually was quite fun and kept us motivated to do something for the day and accountable.

IDK- what do you think about it?

Good morning Yesterday was an UD but I didn't track calories (again ). I had coffee/cream/coconut oil for breakfast then an apple for a snack. For lunch I had Arby's roasted chicken BLT salad and I added avocado and ranch dressing. Then I had more avocado and coconut oil. For a little snacky I had 1/2 burger patty w/cheese. For dinner I had one steak-um with shredded cheddar on 1/2 bun and one chocolate cupcake (Little Debbie 210 calories) I seriously wanted to binge on sweets after that (TOM SUCKS) but instead I made a pot of decaf and made myself sugar-free caramel iced coffee. That seemed to take the cravings away And believe it or not I am down -0.8 lbs. this morning Not sure how that happened!

Today is a DD but I do add in the coconut oil without counting those calories. Breakfast was coffee/cream/coconut oil. The oil seems to keep my appetite at bay. I need to read more about this stuff - seems like a miracle product!!!

I did NOT exercise yesterday I got super tired and my back was aching. TOM in progress, I'm sure of it. Why can't I motivate myself to at least go for a stinking walk???

Yes coconut oil is GREAT!! I need to make some chocolate bark from it. It is soooo good.

TOM is getting the best of me - I'm having cravings for sweets, back & tummy cramps, headache - UGH The scale was UP 2.0 whole pounds this morning. I realize it's water/bloat/TOM but it's still discouraging! My rings are tight too. Oh well, today I will focus on water and low-carb. We are going to the lake after work for the weekend so hopefully I can relax and unwind. I think I'm gonna take a heating pad to help my back/tummy issues. TOM sucks

I really dread it now, it used to be only cause of the weight gain when younger but now it changes my mood, cravings, etc. This will or hopefully has passed for you....just move forward. Hope you had a wonderful time at the lake with family.

TOM can bite me I also get moody - everything makes me cry! I told DH to not tell me anything that will make me mad/upset when TOM is here because I'm like a crazy woman
