Good morning I ended up not going to the gym yesterday because my calves/shins were still sore. Instead I took my 2 daughters and my daughter's friend to see The Lego Movie and then to Denny's. The movie wasn't over til about 6:30 so I was starving. I ended up getting a side salad with just lettuce and red onions (oil & vinegar dressing, salt & pepper), and a sirloin steak (said 8 ounce but it didn't look that big), and broccoli. It was yummy I was ecstatic this morning when I saw that I got a big WHOOSH from the WHOOSIE FAIRY The scale read 203.8 I'm guessing TOM and the exercise were making me hold water. Speaking of TOM, it's being weird. TMI, but I still don't have to wear a pad?? It's still just spotting for now. It wasn't due until Wednesday but I'm sure the hcg is messing with it. For now I'm just praying that this nice loss sticks and then I can move past my low of 203.4 for the year!!! That's only 0.4 lbs away I ditched the orange also yesterday. That kind of pisses me off because I bought a huge bag of them at Sams for like $10 and now they're useless.

Yesterday's Menu:
B: coffee/hwc/splenda
L: hard boiled eggs (3 whites + 1 whole), mustard, 3 melba rounds, strawberries
D: lettuce, red onion salad with oil & vinegar, sirloin steak, broccolli

Looking at my menu, I only had 1 serving of fruit and melba. But I had more protein because the sirloin steak was listed as 8 ounces.

It was funny! But we went to the 3D one and I really don't enjoy movies in 3D, they give me a headache. The girls wanted to see 3D

We moved in November when I was pregnant with Gracie. She was born on February 4th. The move was a little stressful but a lot of friends and family helped out. I love that nesty feeling because I hate to clean otherwise

Morning! Yesterday was a good OP day and I'm feeling good about the protocol. On the other hand, TOM is now 100% kicking my butt. You know how you have that day where it gets bad? Well this is it! I'm very pissy Thankfully I just had some coffee so that may help!

Yesterday's Menu:
B: coffee/HWC/splenda
L: lean ground beef burger patty w/mustard, strawberries, lettuce & onion salad w/red wine vinegar and splash of olive oil
D: lean ground beef with sauteed onions

I didnt' have any melba yesterday, just wasn't feeling it and only one fruit. I need to go grocery shopping as I'm running out of protocol staples. I ran out of cream this morning and I need splenda and some more fruit.

Scale went down a teensy bit which is good considering my nice drop yesterday and TOM being here in full force. I tested my ketones this morning and they are dark purple so I know I'm burning up that nasty brown fat!!

Thanks! And you can call me Gracie My name is Amy Grace but a lot of people call me Gracie (hence why I named my first daughter Gracie )

Well, Friday night my daughter has a swimming party for the 5th graders and I'm sure I will be invited out by one of my friends. I will of course decline because I'm in P2 Then Saturday is my niece's 3rd birthday party. It starts at 3:00 pm. So my plan is to eat lunch around 1:00 and then just take dinner with me. My sister or family know I'm dieting plus I'm bringing a fruit tray to the party! Sunday my DS has baseball and then we'll probably just chill. What do you have going on?

Good morning! Thanks MARIE!!! Almost back to onederland where lollipops and rainbows live TOM was yucky yesterday and I was downright miserable. I feel bad for anyone who came in contact with me I did take 2 Pamprin before bed last night because it helps me sleep and I was bloated. The scale had a nice whooshie this morning, down to 202.2 I'm not sure though if the diuretic in the Pamprin helped that out. Either way, I'll take it!!! Hoping TOM eases up today so I'm not a raging maniac

Yesterday's Menu:
B: coffee/milk/splenda (ran out of cream)
L: lean ground beef patty w/onions & strawberries
D: delmonico steak (prob 8 ounces ), sauteed mushrooms

Again, I skipped my second fruit and all the melba because I added more protein via the delmonico. I tested my ketones this morning and they are dark purple, so that FAT is being released

So, I'm cracking myself up. I had a beautiful golden delicious apple yesterday for lunch, not strawberries. First time for an apple this round since the oranges are definitley O-U-T. Still trying to decide on a menu for today. I have some lean ground meat, ground chicken, cottage cheese, or eggs. Trying to think of a yummy lunch. I'm really liking iceberg lettuce salads with red onions, salt & pepper, and oil & vinegar. Decisions, decisions....

Wow, great losses, AG ! Another busy weekend for you and the kids ! Sounds like fun ! My son has a debate tournament so he will be gone friday and saturday. Believe it or not, debate must be very tiring. Every time he comes home, he goes straight to bed.

You have me thinking about salads. I have a coupon for lettuce I need to use.

I ended up making a salad and it was delicious! I cooked the ground chicken in the skillet with spices and put that on top of a bed of iceberg lettuce, red onions, red wine vinegar, splash of olive oil, and salt & pepper. It was so yummy! Then I had 4 pretty hefty strawberries. I'm very full right now

Hello! I had an appointment today at 10:00 and just got back. It's so cold outside you can't even breathe!!! This weather sucks

Anyhoo, the scale went down a smidge this morning to 202.0 (-0.2), but better than gaining. I was seriously starving in bed last night, don't think I ate enough for dinner. But I was too lazy to get up and eat anything. I went a little rogue today and add a teensy bit of mayo to my 3 hard boiled egg whites + 1 whole egg. I'm craving fat so I experimented. I didn't have the melba toast or veggie. I'm just not in the mood for a cold veggie, KWIM? Maybe I'll have some warm asparagus for dinner though.

Yesterday's Menu:

Good morning and TGIF KATY, you were correct! My scale did go down this morning. The first reading was 200.2, but then I got back on 3 more times and they all read 201.0 I should've just quit while I was ahead I'm going to record the 201.0 and hope the loss carries over to tomorrow.

D: lean ground beef w/carmelized onions (about 4-5 ounces of beef)

No second fruit or melba yesterday. It seems I have better losses after eggs or maybe it's just every other day. So after 11 full VLCD's I've lost 11.2 lbs! I'm so close to onderland I can taste it This weekend I should be fine as I don't have any tempting things to do. But, my nieces bday party will have yummy food an cake - I'll just have to behave. Next weekend is my Planned Interruption because of the event we are going to. I know you're supposed to go a full 21 days of VLCD but Saturday will be day 20. I read Pounds & Inches and it says that if you have to stop before the 21 days to just follow a regular PI and jump back on when you can. He said the only thing you lose is time. Not sure how long I'll stay on the PI because the following Saturday is the St. Patty's Day parade. I'll cycle back to P2 after all my events are over. I plan on eating good P3 style and hitting the gym.

If you go to Plans and choose hcg you can find the entire list. Or, google Pounds & Inches by Dr. Simeons and it's all there. Do you still have your hcg? Best of luck!

Weight this morning was 200.0! Oh onederland is playing hard to get!!!
I'm posting from my phone so sorry for any mistakes. This morning I had coffee with hwc and Splenda. I have been craving something sweet so I took a couple go the Melba rounds and put sugar free strawberry preserves on them. I pretended it was toast and jelly! Not too bad. I'm boiling some eggs now. I'm either going to take them to the party or I'm going to take some chicken. I need to get some water in ASAP. I've just been lounging today and haven't had any yet.
