Also, quinoa has a lot of carbs per cup. It's healthy, but carby. And try making chocolate swirl CC muffins. YUM!! (take some batter - mix in cocoa and extra splenda and swirl on top)

Thanks for the quinoa info. - I think I've had it before and it seemed carby. I will have to try those chocolate CC muffins! YUM

Hi peeps! Doing good today, right on track. Today is Gracie's 11th bday so we'll probably go out to dinner. I think Buffalo Wild Wings which will be easy because I love wings. I'll probably get a side salad along with it. I tested this morning and my ketones were a dark pink/purple so we're good!

Oh em gee ! Thanks for telling me - I see quinoa on a ton of low carb sites and it is ridiculous how much it has.

Good morning! I'm still on plan but feeling bloated today. My rings are tight so I'm not sure what's up with that? I had a headache yesterday so maybe my body is fighting something off. I will weigh either tomorrow or next Friday. If I'm still bloated tomorrow I am not looking!!! I'm trying to drink lots of water but its's so cold here that it's really hard. And they are calling for another huge storm on Sunday. My kids are going to be in school til July!!!

How is everyone else doing?

Here's what I've had so far:
B: PB Atkins Bar (2 gm), Coffee w/HWC & 1 splenda (1 gm)

TGIF!!! Tonight Gracie is having 10 girls including herself for a sleepover to celebrate her birthday! God help me!! LOL I bought some pizzas, cupcakes, chips, and dip. I also got donuts for breakfast. Thank goodness I have my Atkins bars just in case I get tempted. I peeked at the scale this morning and it was at 204.0, so at least it's going down. Tomorrow night we are supposed to go with a bunch of friends to see a band. I'll probably do a lot of dancing and have a couple michelob ultra's over ice.

So far today I've only had an Atkins bar and coffee with HWC and splenda. My lunch is going to be homemade chicken salad (chicken, mayo, onions, eggs). Not sure about dinner yet - everyone else will be having pizza. I do have a steak I could cook up

Hi peeps! Had a nice weekend with family and friends. Didn't do much for Valentine's Day, just stayed home with hubby and the girls. My DS went away with his girlfriend and her family to Seven Springs - it's an awesome place in the mountains for skiing, snowboarding, tubing. He had a blast! Saturday we went to a high school playoff basketball game and then to dinner (me, hubby and Erin). Then to a friends house for some cocktails and fun. Yesterday we were tired so we hung out at home til about 4 but my sister took Ricky and Grace to the car show so we only had Erin with us. We went to Sams Club for some groceries and then to the gym. Me and Erin swam for about 45 minutes and then I hit the hot tub and steam room

It's freezing here and I can't take it anymore!!! Where is spring? This weather sucks.

My weight is all over the place lately. I would love to just lose 15 pounds to feel better. I can't seem to get my head in the game. I'm thinking about hitting the gym today and doing the treadmill for a while, then the steam room. Everyone have a great day!!!!

What day is it?

HUMP DAY

Okay, so the cat's out of the bag and I'm back on hhcg spray. I loaded Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday - yes 3 glorious days!!! I ate so much yummy stuff because I wanted to make sure I wasn't hungry for VLCD's. I won't mention what I ate because I know lots of my friends are also on VLCD's right now. I started on Friday at 211 and by Monday morning my weight was only 212.2 - so not bad at all for load weight. And I assure you, I ate enough!!! I bought the spray I had used back a couple years ago and it seems like it's working pretty good. My weight this morning was 208.2, but my scale also read 207.2 and 207.6 I swear that scale is stupid.... Praying this is a good round for me! The only obligation I have is on March 8th which will be my 21st vlcd. So I will probably either end the round then or do a short PI and jump back on for a couple days. We go every year to the 200 Club for our high school boosters. It's $200 per couple and there's open bar, dinner, dancing, gambling, and all kinds of prizes. It's always a blast and all the money raised goes to the high school athletics. Hoping to be back in onederland before then!

Happy weekend eve Still staying on plan and praying for some good losses this week. The first week always gives me motivation to continue on.

I think I'm taking DS to see Billy Joel tomorrow night! I'm so excited. We LOVE him!!! I will stay on plan, just eat before the concert. No drinking as I will be driving.

Good morning to all who visit! Still on plan and following Simeons hcg protocol. I have good energy and very little hunger. My only problem is sleeping - I can fall asleep but then I'm wide awake at like 5:00 am. I could get up and run a marathon! I guess the energy is side effect of the hcg. Here's how yesterday panned out.

Yesterday's Menu:
B: coffee/HWC/splenda
L: 4 hard boiled eggs (3 whites + 1 whole) mixed with mustard, 3 melba rounds, strawberries, asparagus
D: About 5-6 ounces of lean ground beef cooked in skillet as a hamburger, 2 dill pickle spears, mustard

I still need to work on the water. I got in maybe 3-4 bottles yesterday.

Here's how I started:

Okay, so I just made the strawberry ice cream and it's in the freezer. I'm patiently waiting to each my lunch! It looks yummy. I think dinner will be another burger patty - nice and filling. I'll keep the melba toast for snacks. I struggle to get the veggies in! The only one I really like is asparagus.

No cauliflower ? No broccoli, zucchini, brussel sprouts ? I am so late discovering how much I like veggies. I don't like them sweet either so I'm not crazy about carrots or butternut squash.

I love all those veggies but on protocol they aren't allowed. I can have celery, cucumbers, asparagus, radishes.... The only one I like is asparagus. I like cucumbers smothered in ranch dressing or sour cream!!!

Well, stupid TOM is causing me bloat and gain. I also walked on the treadmill yesterday for 30 minutes and swam. My muscles are sore so I know what's going on. Trying not to panic!

I'm very proud of myself for not going crazy over the weekend. I always struggle so bad on the weekends. I kept my head straight and did pretty good. I went to a girls night and didn't drink or eat. I actually enjoyed all the conversations and laughed hysterically!!! I almost didn't go but then decided I didn't want to miss out.

Today is VLCD#7, so tomorrow will mark one full week on plan! Next weekend I don't have anything to do except my niece's bday party on Saturday. But, there won't be any temptation there to drink alcohol or eat off plan. I'll just enjoy the time with my family.
