Yeah it sucks. I have volunteer student coaches who help. Can you believe I had a parent come up to me and tell me to ask the student coach to stop eating during the football game? This girl also plays volleyball and had a car wash that morning, then came out to the football game to VOLUNTEER to coach the girls! The mom wanted me to tell her to not eat!!! I cannot tell another human being to not eat! FOR CRAPSAKE people complain about anything! And this particular mom does not volunteer for anything - just wants MORE and MORE from everybody else.... can you tell I'm unhappy

Yesterday was a good DD - stayed around 540 calories but I was super hungry during the night - very weird. My body needs to get used to me not feeding it like the world is going to end tomorrow Today is an UD and I'm doing good. It's weird because on UDs I can't think of what I want to eat. On DDs I can think of lots of things to eat

Shari ~ Can you tell me exactly what you put in that drink? Do you use a blender or smoothie maker? I have a food processor, would that work? I may try these on my DDs.

That's unbelievable!! That's exactly the reason I couldn't do it, the nerve of some people really comes out. And their nerve don't need to hit mine LOL!!

I posted it in my journal. I use a blender and it works fine. Oops forgot to add that I don't get super hungry. It reminds me of omaha where I'm really satisfied and am eating enough, it was really having to adjust to not feeling like I needed to be stuffed to feel satisfied and now my appetite has adjusted so it's very easy now

Thanks Shari! So, do you just drink water and the juice all day? I'm going to try it on my DDs and see how I do. I would think even substituting one meal a day with this would be beneficial to your health. Low calories and full of nutrition!

TGIF! So happy it's finally Friday. These weeks are long with my kids being in so many activities. Tonight we have football and then tomorrow MORE football! We are going to the Pittsburgh Pirates game tomorrow night so that will be fun.

Yesterday was a good UD - I didn't really track calories. The first 2 weeks is considered induction so I'm just eating til satisfied. I didn't binge yesterday at all which is a win. I did have a gyro for dinner that was fabulous It's nice to eat and not feel guilty about it. I also had a chocolate covered pretzel with no guilt I did not weigh today as I'm only going to weigh after DDs or maybe every couple DDs. I've realized I'm not in a race and if I follow JUDDD that the weight will eventually come off. See, I'm progressing

In the first week I did. I don't remember how long but after a few days I broke the fast with eating only veggies in the evening. Pretty much now it's a substitute for break and lunch, it's pretty filling if you drink it throughout the day with water (I add a couple slices of lemon). Now for dinner I'll have a veggie or chicken breast if I want meat.

Yes, the kids keep us busy for sure. Hope your son have a good game tonight

Good morning! The weekends go by so fast Today DS has a JV football game so hoping he does well. I'm starting to get a sore throat - praying it goes away! There seems to be a lot of people getting colds right now so I'm trying to be proactive and take Vitamin C and wash my hands a lot. I hate this time of year when the kids go back to school and bring home all the germies

I did well on my DD Friday. Saturday was my UD and I had football games all day and then the Pirate game. I had a few beers at the game but it ok because it was an UD. Yesterday was a Medium Day so I can keep my DDs as Mon/Wed/Fri this week. I made the juice and it was okay. I made it again yesterday but left out the ginger. I can see drinking it on DDs to help with hunger plus it's so good for my body!

Lots to get done today, hope everyone has a great Monday!

Yeah, been a Pirate fan my whole life. They haven't been in the playoffs since I was 20 years old!!! When I was a child though, they were awesome I remember going to games and Sister Sledge singing "We are Family" It's exciting that we are having a fantastic year and may actually make the playoffs. I think we need 5 more wins to clinch a playoff spot! I'm glad my kids get to experience it finally. They've never seen a winning season or Pirate playoff game. But they have been spoiled with the Steelers and Penguins

That is awesome! I know we go to the playoffs a lot, but when we won the WS in 2006 it was over 20 years since the last win, so I got really caught up in it.. with my kids too.

The Pirates ARE going to the playoffs, there is no doubt. The only way they won't at this point is if they lost most of the games left and that will not happen. BE EXCITED!!.. your team has earned it!

I am excited! It's so much fun Maybe we'll play you guys in the playoffs? I have no idea how that works because we haven't been there in 20 years

Well it goes like this. IF you guys win the division you will play the winner of the 2 wildcard teams. Which would be the CARDS or Cincinnati at this time.

If the CARDS win the division we will pay the winner of PITT and Cinci.

UNLESS, one of us has the best record in the NL, then the winner of our division will play one of the other NL division winners. Either Atlanta or Los Angeles.

So clear as mud? ... haha.. when it gets closer, I will let you know who plays who if you don't already know..

I had a pretty good DD yesterday. I had the mean green shake for both breakfast and lunch. Then I had a late dinner (around 7 pm) of grilled ribeye steak. It was probably around 600 calories for the day Today is an UD and I've had coffee and 2 slices of cinnamon raisin toast with butter. I'm making sweet and sour chicken and rice for dinner. Not sure about lunch yet. My weight is slowly going down. I can't complain as I get to eat what I want every other day. Now I just need to exercise!!!!

Glad you like the mean green...just keep tweaking it to your taste. Congrats on the scale going down, always better than it going up, up, up LOL. I also make a 'red' shake that includes watermelon, 1/2 lemon, blueberries and handful of kale (with Truvia), very good..you may like it. If you want more variety, there are more recipes on his website if you google it, I don't think I can add a link I didn't want to burn out from just one flavor. Your UD menu sounds delish!

What day is it??? HUUUUMMMMMP DAY!!!! I love that commercial!

Anyhoo, today is a DD and I'm super tired today. I had my mean green shake for lunch and now I'm exhausted. I hope I'm not getting the sickies. My DH and DS both had it - cold, tummy ache, body aches, chills Right now I'm just plain tired. I have to go to cheer practice tonight too. I just feel like going to bed.

Not sure what I'll do for dinner, maybe make more of the shake. I figure I have about 300 + or - minus left.

Happy weekend eve! Today is an UD I just had a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant for breaky I have wings defrosting for dinner along with salad - not sure about lunch. I have about 1500 calories left after breakfast.

Yesterday's DD was tough! I had the mean green shake for lunch (guessing around 200 calories) and then I had a protein bar (190) for dinner. I also had the Shirataki noodles in broth (zero), some celery (15) and then a couple bites of noodles (not sure). I'd say around 500-600 calories total. So happy today is an UD!!!!

My throat is hurting I'm going to take extra Vitamin C today - think it's just a cold. Tomorrow night is DS's Varsity game plus a DD - not sure how I will handle that. We take a fan bus out with all the parents and everyone brings FOOD - and YUMMY FOOD at that! Everyone brings adult beverages as well. I will just tell them I have a cold and not feeling well. Saturday we have a couples shower for friends so that should be fun.

Anyhoo, everyone have a great day!

TGIF! Today is a DD and still not sure how to handle it because of the fan bus and football game. It's supposed to rain a lot tonight too so I might opt out of going. I do not want to get sick! DH has been sick for 3 days now - sinuses, chest cold, head cold I'm praying I don't get it!!! He is miserable!

Yesterday's UD was okay - I think I went over on my calories but I'm not going to stress about it. I may fast until dinner and then just eat the bus snacks

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Yes, TGIF! I hope you don't get sick, the shake plus vitamins should help. Try to rest as much as possible (I know, better said than done) but you are one busy mama...it's so easy to go,go,go without self-demanding some time for yourself.

Hi peeps! LONG weekend of football for me. We travelled to the varsity game on Friday night and lost (DS didn't even play). Saturday we went to a party at a friends house. Then yesterday I was at the field from 1:00-9:15. I am seriously exhausted!!!! I attempted a DD at the field but it ended up a disaster. I ate french fries, fried pretzel bits, and a cookie I just couldn't do a DD being there that long. Not sure what I'm doing today. DS has a JV game today at 4:00 - I was going to attempt a steak day to try and make up for my terrible day yesterday. My weight sucks today and I am not happy with myself I'm definitely holding water from the carbs though. I hate seeing this higher number on the scale - I was exactly 206 this morning BLECH... I quit smoking this year and I think that is affecting it too. I quit back in January but I still find myself craving it and replacing with sweets. GRRRR - I guess it's better than smoking though

My goal today is water, water, water and possibly a steak day. I'm just so tired that I don't know if I can function without food til dinner!!!

Good morning! Down 3 lbs. this morning so working my way back to onederland. I did a meat only day yesterday - couldn't handle a steak day. I had meat for lunch and dinner. I'm still bloated though because my fingers are swollen. Hoping to be down more tomorrow.

DS did great yesterday at his football game! They won 45-20 He threw for 2 touchdowns and had a bunch of reallly good runs. I was so happy and proud of him

Not sure what my plan of attack is today eatingwise. My brain is all confused on how to handle this weight loss. Part of me wants to stick with JUDDD, part of me wants to go back to hhcg, and part of me doesn't care

Hey Today is a DD and I've held out til now to eat. I'm thinking miracle noodles (zero everything) with the ramen noodle season packet for lunch and maybe something small. I'm trying to keep it under 500 calories today.

I've been still struggling eating wise. I cannot stop the night time munchies!!! I'm so aggravated with myself Thank God I don't gamble because I'm an all or nothing type person!!! Once I start the binge I seriously can't stop. I'm trying to figure out WHAT, WHY, HOW, WHO is triggering this in me!!! I'm under a lot of stress lately with work and coordinating the 70+ cheerleaders and 16 teenage coaches. I think that has a lot to do with it. Serenity NOW!!!

Gracie~I understand the binge eating. Although I loved hcg and was successful on it, it awoke some kind of binge monster in me. I think it was too restrictive and put my brain in a different mindset. I was fine if I was in the groove of losing, but any time spent off plan was spent binge eating. I am not sure I can do hcg again because of that. Maybe you should move to a plan (WW, LC, whatever) that just focuses on whole foods and not do super restrictive plans like JUDDD or hcg for the time being? Those (esp. WW) would be way easier with your busy schedule and time spent out all weekend.

Yes, I'm sure the hcg woke up some feelings in me that now allow me to binge. The loading for sure encouraged binge eating for me. There is a weight watchers near me that I could join, maybe I'll look into that. Thanks Katy!!!

This morning I was 202 - so slowly going back to onederland. It's 12:30 and I just ate a handful of cereal. Not my best choice but I could've done worse. I feel like I'm on the verge of getting sick. My chest feels congested. This has been going around as my DS and DH both had it. Praying it passes

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Sorry you're not feeling well, I hope you don't get sick. Congrats on your son's team winning! You are very busy and being out all day doesn't help, along with stress...no wonder you're exhausted. Sometimes our body will make us feel certain ways..like you feeling sick, to make us slow down and rest. Otherwise, we'll just go, go, go...only being still or resting when there is no choice...our body just gives out. I understand though, it's not like you can choose to stay home and rest or you would but maybe there are areas you can either designate for others to do or cut out/schedule out some time during the week where you are focusing on yourself. Remember, if we (moms) get sick, then everyone else we love and care about life is disrupted, so we have to be selfish about this to continue to care for others. I learned this being a 'single' mom in the earlier years and trying to be perfect, dotting every 'i', crossing every 't' but was miserable...physically (at 250+lbs) and mentally. I know I binge just from emotions, feeling like I don't have control over my life in certain areas, stress from work, etc. I was watching a documentary over the past couple days about how what we eat also causes us to store fat and crave carbs, uncontrollably. It's called Hungry for Change...very good as it addresses how stress, processed food, high fructose syrup, aspartame and other nutrient deficit food really affect our health negatively and causes weight gain. It stressed to the importance of eating natural food, like our ancestors...fruit, vegetable, leaner meats, etc. Now of course, this is not a new concept for most of us but sometimes reading about it or watching a movie/documentary about this stuff helps to bring it home so to say... LOL, didn't mean to type a novel, but I know what you're going through and just wanted to share what may help.

Congrats too on the loss!!

Thanks Shari! I am under a lot of stress lately and I definitely don't want to get sick. I know when I was a little girl I craved fruits and not chocolate. I wish I could go back and figure out when these stupid processed foods took over! I know they are terrible and know what they are doing to me, but I continue to eat them I have Netflix so I'm giong to see if they have the documentary. Thanks, I needed support today!!

yes, please please look at it. Some stuff I already knew then other stuff I was like WOW, no wonder I easily gain weight, have these uncontrollable urges to binge and eat carbs/sweets, dx with elevated cholesterol, have fibroids, and other health issues. That's why I detoxed only eating fruit and veggies with the mean green...it will make you want to make a change, seriously our lives depend on it not to mention our children whom we want to see get older and one day maybe have families of their own oh, and other people we love

I love documentaries too, even my 5 year old loves them. A family of nerds, we are. haha

I hope you can beat the sickies! Do you take liquid vitamin D3? It's better immune support than vit c and I can beat a cold if I take like 20,000 ius when I feel like I'm getting something. I used to be sick all.the.time until I started the D3
