I just don't get it though? Girls need eachother and instead they treat eachother awful. My 10 year old has been through the ringer with mean girls at her school last year. We had 5 girls in her class leave - luckily they were the bullies. She had cheerleading practice yesterday and 3 of the girls had been talking about going to get frozen yogurt afterwards. She told them she wanted to go too (this was last week). After practice the 3 of them went and didn't invite her. Now I wouldn't care but one of the girls I ride home and Tues/Thurs and just took away to our lake camp for an entire weekend! And then she treats her like that!!! Just frustrated.....

That is so mean! My 10 yr old son has a similar situation with bullies at school. It's so not fair to have to watch them go through these situations.

Katy ~ unfortunately girls are the worst! My son honestly hasn't had any problems and he's 14. My DD has had problems since preschool. Girls are just plain nasty - I can't figure out why I try to teach her to be kind but sometimes I find myself wanting her to fight back. All I can say is PRAY!!!

Trying to stay on plan today. I'm going to start posting my menu each day for accountability.

B: coffee/cream/equal
L: lettuce/1/2 small cucumber/onions with light balsamic vinaigrette
ground turkey with spices made into a burger patty w/yellow mustard
4 strawberries

So far so good! I'm not hungry at all right now which makes me happy. I may go buy some sugar-free dark chocolate squares just to have in case of emergency

Hi peeps! I have been so busy with the kids starting back to school and all of their activities. DS is super busy with football and DD is doing cheerleading right now. DS's first high school football game is this Friday night! He is the back-up quarterback and only a freshman so I don't expect much playing time. On the other hand, the team we are playing stinks so he may get to play as much as half the game! I will be extremely NERVOUS for him

My eating has been wretched lately. I can't stop the after dinner binges. I started the hcg pellets today to see if it helps. I don't know what is wrong with me!!! I need to reign myself in and not do a lot of damage. I just want to eat sugar I am hovering right near that 200 mark and it frightens me!

Oh I know you're on pins and needles about son, hopefully he will be okay if they do put him in the game longer. I know exactly what you mean about eating crazily. I'm reigning it in too... I hit a number I hadn't hit in years!!! Keeping fingers crossed you can do a full round without binges, it's touch for sure.

So I made it through my first day back on plan. I had a sort of egg salad for lunch (1 egg + 3 whites/brown mustard), apple, and a salad. Then for dinner I had a big salad with some chicken. I had a nectarine as a snack - not sure if that's on any protocol but it was yummy! Today I have a slight headache but I'm probably detoxing from sugar. I don't think I'm going to weigh every single day because I get discouraged if it doesn't go down. Maybe every few days I'll weigh to stay sane.

My plan today is to have my two fruits during the day and then steak and veggies for my dinner. Sounds doable to me. I need to get some melba toast or those breadsticks. There's a bunch of other hcg plans where people are eating yogurt, low-fat cheese, etc. I'm just taking it day by day. Once I get the first 10 lbs. off I will feel much better. Wish me luck!!!

Yeah, I'm very nervous for Friday night! He's only a freshman so he has no experience with high school football and being under the lights. Praying he does well!

My eating has been OOC!!!! I don't know why? I'll do good all day and then after dinner BAM! I'm eating Oreos!!! I need to keep them out of the house - they're not good for anyone

But they taste so freaking good I'm just nervous for him. Our field just went through a major transformation that took like 10 years to save the money for. There is going to be a ton of alumni coming to see the new field. We've played on grass since I was in high school and we finally got a beautiful new turf field. He's played football on this field since he was 6-7 years old! It's going to be a very exciting night!

So I made it through my second day pretty well. The scale is dropping but I'm still not anywhere near where I would like to be. Yesterday I had 2 nectarines, raw mushrooms, then for dinner I had ribeye steak and broccolli. I know it's not strict protocol foods but it's working. There are no Oreos in the house so I would actually have to drive to the store and buy them to eat There's actually no chocolate in the house at all. I need to stay away until I can control myself!!!

Today's plan is 2 fruits, unlimited veggies, 2 proteins (about 4-5 ounces each) - I also add in a hard boiled egg if I'm hungry.

Yesterday went pretty well. Scale was down again today so it's all good. I'm going to post my menu each day for accountability.

I'm nervous for tonight! DS first high school game Praying if he gets in that he does well. Then tomorrow is football all day for our youth organization and DD cheerleads. Tomorrow evening we will be off to the lake for some rest and relaxation Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Dinner: ground turkey in a soft taco shell with lettuce, tomato, salsa and some extra ground turkey on the side. I did add a teeny little bit of shredded cheddar on the top

Katy ~ I'm right around 200 right now. I get very nervous around that number. I'm not really aiming for any goal right now, I just need to get my eating under control.

Marie ~ Thanks!!! How are you doing?

Deb ~ I'm trying to keep it simple! I'm hungry right now so I may go grab an orange and hard boiled egg. That will keep me satisfied for a while.

Shari ~ How are things going with your new drink? It actually sounds tasty!

Hi Gracie - I am doing well. We just returned home from being gone a month in CA. Dh and I both stayed within our maintenance range. I didn't count calories like I do while home, but, we did weigh daily. For me, that has proven to be KEY. Our walking while there was very hit and miss, but, we are back to it now. We got home Wednesday evening. We drove, and on the way home we stopped in Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Albuquerque.

Happy Hump Day!!! I don't realize I forget to post DS did great at his first game. He got in in the 3rd quarter @ QB and they scored a TD! Yay!!! Our team was crushing the other team though so that's why he got in. He ended up at the ER on Saturday because of a blister on his heel that ended up being infected. They drained it and he's on antibiotics. He wasn't able to practice yesterday but it looks like it's getting better. It looked like a softball on the back of his ankle - turned dark purple with white puss all in it!

My eating was good Friday and Saturday and then it went to heck on Sunday and Monday. I had some drinks at the lake on Sunday and ended up eating crap. Monday was my sister's bday party and I ate cupcakes I was so mad at myself yesterday when I got on the scale. Yesterday I ate very low carb and drank tons of water. The scale went down 5.2 lbs!!!! I was FULL of water. Oh well, live and learn. Today I'm focusing on lower carb and staying away from treats. I stopped the hhcg as it's just too hard right now with all of the kid's activities. I was at the football field on Saturday from 10 am until 7:00 pm in the blazing sun. My only option was concession stand food!!!

I also need to start exercising again. I felt so great when I was going to the gym 3-5 times per week.

DD Erin (4) starts preschool tomorrow I will post a pic...

Hi peeps I'm still hanging in there, sticking to low-carb. My weight is every so slowly creeping back down. Today was Erin's first day of preschool. It was actually just a 45 minute orientation with the teachers. She loved it! I will post some pics at the end of my post.

Tomorrow is DS's first away game for varsity so we are taking the booster bus and going with a bunch of friends - should be fun. Everyone brings a cooler of "beverages" and some munchies. I'm thinking of cheese & meat tray, low-carb and yummy.

I'm super duper hungry today I hate being hungry like this and nothing seems to satisfy me. I had bacon, eggs, sausage for breakfast and I had an Atkins bar at lunchtime. I feel hungry but I also feel bloated. Maybe I'll get a nice whooshie tomorrow.

My pics came out sideways Oh well, I don't know how to fix them so sideways they will remain.

My weight STS today which I guess is good. I pigged out yesterday I need to get rid of the PB Chocolate Atkins bars because I have zero control with them. I could eat the entire box in a day which is 5 bars!!! They satisfy my sweet tooth. I may buy some L-Glutamine to see if it helps with sweet cravings. So far today I had a breakfast bowl - eggs, cheddar cheese, onions, and turkey sausage. I'm very satisfied and not hungry at all!

Looking forward to tonight. DS football team plays a big rival tonight! He will only get in the game if we are winning big I'm sure. His first JV game is on Monday so he should see a lot of play time. He was cleared by the doctor today to play I need to get him some Dr. Scholls foot donuts for his blisters so they don't rub and get infected again

Good morning! I've been super busy lately and keep forgetting to come in and post. I've been struggling with what plan to choose and I find myself bingeing more I crave sugar and it sucks! On Monday I did a Down Day to at least get my head cleared (and my tummy). I actually did a steak day - waited until dinner and only had some steak. It felt really good to not be stuffing myself Yesterday was an Up Day and of course I ended up eating too much. I didn't weigh today and will only weigh after DD's to keep my sanity. I'll post my weight tomorrow - hoping I didn't do too much damage.

My goal for September is to choose a plan and stick to it. I'm thinking JUDDD because of the flexibilty. I have football games on the weekends and it's very hard to find nutritious food when I'm stuck at a field for 10 hours. I already told them that I wouldn't be the cheer coordinator next year - it's too much work and nobody appreciates it anyway. Another goal for this month is to get back down to 195 lbs. I've tried the hhcg and I just can't do it right now. Once football is over and I can focus on it, maybe I'll try again.

Hope everyone else is doing well

Oh girl, I feel you. I'm not a coordinator of anything at my boy's school and I'm tired LOL. It sucks that your time/effort into cheerleading is not appreciated. Great September goals.
