Hi peeps I haven't done any of my shopping yet!!! I need to get the kids all their stuff for the baskets and everything for dinner For the girls I think I'm just going to Five Below because they have a lot of cool girl stuff. For Ricky, I'm thinking beef jerky, protein bars, iced coffee drinks, and maybe a Dick's gift card. He doesn't eat candy (braces) and he tries to eat healthy.

As for me, I had a great workout yesterday. I walked on the treadmill for almost 45 minutes at about 3.8 mph and an incline varying from 6.0-8.0 It said I burned over 400 calories. Then I did my circuit lifting and abs. It feels good to be active!!! I am seriously starving right now - I need to go grab something for lunch. I've been busy all morning and had no time to eat. I'm thinking about weighing tomorrow but I don't want to ruin a good thing. If I haven't lost I don't want to get discouraged because I can tell my body is changing. Decisions, decisions.....

Hello! Just a quick check in today. Easter was a disaster in the eating department - I swear I ate everything in sight. This week is damage control Today I'm going to attempt a steak day and try to get a good workout in. I haven't weighed in a while but I'm thinking I need to - maybe Friday. Weird thing is, last night DS had a game and one of the moms said I look like I"m losing weight and look skinnier. My guess is the exercise I need to keep it up and not give up. Today my plan is the treadmill, lifting, and abs. I'm sure I'll feel much better after I sweat a bit.

Hope everyone is hanging in there - summer is almost here!!!! Except it's freaking SNOWING here today

Hi peeps! I've been so busy with work and kids activities that it's been insane. Just this week we have 4 after school play practices, 4 volleyball games, 2 soccer games, and 1 track meet I'm glad they are active but holy moly, I could use a break! I'm the neverending chauffeur TOM is due TODAY and I'm feeling a bit crampy. I plan on hitting the gym and doing cardio/weights/abs so it should make me feel better. I'm taking the girls on Friday night to the high school play - they are doing Beauty and the Beast. The girls will love it! My weight is holding steady around 190 - I think lifting is affecting it. My body is getting smaller though so I don't want to complain.

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

I got a great workout in yesterday I walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes on a huge incline then did the circuit lifting and then abs. I am sore today Sore is good though - that's when I'm getting stronger. I didn't weigh this morning because TOM showed up. Exercising seems to help me with all the nasty symptoms but I do feel a little crampy.

This is a busy weekend again. Going to see Beauty and the Beast tonight Tomorrow is a track meet in the morning and then a soccer game in the late afternoon. Sunday is another soccer game. Hoping the weather is nice. The forecast for tomorrow said 39 deg. and rain

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

TGIF!!! My weeks have been so busy with my DS! He is playing the Tin Man in his 8th grade play next Friday night so they are rehearsing every single day after school from 3-6. Then he has volleyball practice and games plus soccer and track!!! This boy is BUSY My DD is also running track so she has practice as well. I feel like his last year in elementary school (middle school) is going by so fast. It's like a blur already We had a track meet on Saturday and he placed 1st in all 6 events he did!!! He did shotput, javelin, 50 yd, 100 yd, 200 yd and 400 yd relay. I was so proud! My DD came in 1st in the 100 yd and second in the 50 yd. DS also started playing soccer this year and scored his first goal on Saturday I hope I'm not repeating myself My brain is scattered anymore with everything on my plate.

Yesterday I started a no-sugar and very little starch diet. I've been having too many sweets and my nose is all stuffy from it. I know sugar is evil but it's so dang good!!! My weight this morning was 192.8 so at least all the sugar binges didn't do too much damage. I'm still lifting and working out so that is most likely helping. I'm also going to start back on the coconut oil, maybe a tbsp per day to see how I feel. It works great to kill the bacteria and yeast growth caused by sugar. Anyhoo, just checking in. Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!

You are one busy woman! I'm glad you checked in, LCF is so boring to me these days, LOL!

Have you ever tried coconut butter? OMG. So good, but I had portion control issues. It is just ground coconut (so the flesh and oil), not sure it has the same effect as oil regarding candida and such but it has a texture kind of like peanut butter. YUM

Hey Gracie, wow...what a schedule! I was talking to another mom at track practice and she was saying she just want it to be over...she's done with school for the year LOL. It's like something to do every single day but another mom who has a grown daughter was telling us to enjoy this time although we feel it goes so quickly and our kids will be grown and out of the house in no time. It helped, some. Congrats to your son and daughter!!

Thanks for keeping my journal warm ladies. I've been so busy that I haven't had much time to post. I'm still working out and loving it. I decided to give JUDDD another try just because it made me feel really good when I was doing it. It seems to help with inflammation. I've been having allergy/sinus issues and I'm hoping JUDDD will help with that. So today is going to be a DD and I'll give it my best shot!!! I had to take a sudafed for my stuffiness but that usually makes me not hungry. I plan to workout today at some point as well. Tonight is the dress rehearsal for my son's play from 5-9 and then tomorrow is the big performance - so excited!!! I'll post some pics from the play.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday eve!!!!

TGIF! Today is a double win because it's Friday and an UD Yesterday's DD was rough. I don't think I ate enough. I had a banana, an apple, and a homemade grilled chicken salad with low-fat ranch. Plus, I walked on the treadmill @ 4.0 mph with an incline for 40 minutes, then lifted for 30 minutes, then abs. I also hit the hot tub for 15 minutes then the steam room. I couldn't sleep last night - I think it was a combination of being hungry and worrying about DS's play tonight. From now on I'm going to eat a snack before bed on DD's so I can sleep. We went to the dress rehearsal last night and it didn't go great. The kids were nervous and you couldn't hear them. This was their first time on a big stage and it's probably very scary. I'm praying that they pull it off tonight The girl who plays Dorothy is very shy and has panic attacks at times. Please say a prayer for her and all the other actors to get through it and do a great job. She kept forgetting her lines which then stops the action because the other actors have to wait for her. She's such a sweet, timid girl

Oh, my weight this morning was 192.2 lbs. I hardly slept at all so I'm sure that didn't help my weigh in. I've decided to only weigh once a week or at least only after a DD. I lifted yesterday too so my weight is always up a bit due to the water repairing the muscles. No stressing anymore!!!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Hi peeps! We had a great weekend! My DS's play turned out simply fantastic There were over 500 people who came to see it and they all did awesome. He and his friends had such great chemistry on stage and they kept the audience laughing and cheering the whole time! He sang his solo perfectly and danced like a pro - I couldn't have been prouder. It was so nice to watch because Ricky and all his friends are the big athletes of the school. I think everyone was just stunned that they got on stage and sang, danced, and performed. I was speechless! Then on Sunday we went to my niece's communion mass and party. Needless to say there were 4 desserts there and I tasted them all Yesterday I did a DD or more like a modified DD. I fasted all day and then had steak, mushrooms, and salad for dinner along with a couple pieces of fat-free chocolate for dessert. I didn't weigh this morning - I may peek at the scale this weekend. I had a great workout yesterday though. I did the treadmill - walking on incline and jogging for about 40 minutes, strength training, and abs. I'm a little sore today which is a good thing. And my pants are falling off of me!!! My SIL stopped me after church and told me I looked great - she said it looks like I lost a lot of weight. I actually think I'm still hovering around 192 but apparently the exercise is helping. I've decided the scale is just plain evil It's not telling the whole story...

Today I'm thinking of getting in an hour of Callanetics. It will help me stretch my sore muscles and tone my abs. It's an UD so I get around 1900 calories - wooo hooo!!!!

Hope everyone is hanging in there. I will try to visit journals in a bit....

Hey everyone - it's been a while since I checked in!! I ended up getting an upper respiratory infection and felt awful for about a week. I'm on the tail end of the antibiotics now and starting to feel human again. My tummy has been bothering me too, probably from the meds. My weight this morning was 189 so it's gone down a little. My birthday was Tuesday and I spent it feeling icky It's all good, my DH is taking me to the playoff Penguin hockey game tonight My DD Gracie has track championships tomorrow morning and then we may head to the lake. DS Ricky had is championships last week and he medaled in all 5 events he ran in. He got 2 silvers and 3 bronze

Anyhoo, wanted to check in but it looks very quiet in here lately. Big hugs and hello's to everyone!!!

Don't know how I missed your journal yesterday but (belated). I hope you feel better now. Congrats on getting into the 180's, I remember you wanted to hit this as a mini goal. Cute pic of you and Erin, time's flying...I can't believe she's 4 already. Congrats to Ricky and Gracie on their track accomplishments. My son's track championship was last Saturday (I missed it because I had surgery ) but their school came in 2nd place after coming in 1st place for the past four years. They were a bit sad but I think it'll make them all step up their game next year

Hi Marie! Thanks for checking on me I swear I had the worst run of sickness. I had an upper respiratory infection that lasted 2 weeks and then I got a UTI that went into my kidney. I was at the ER on Friday for kidney pain and they wanted to make sure it wasn't kidney stones. Luckily it wasn't so I finished up the antibiotic yesterday and I am feeling better. The only thing now is my sinuses I have non-allergic rhinitis and it sucks! There's not a lot that works to help it. I don't want to bore everyone with my sucky health troubles.

I am actually going to start the 17 day diet this week. I got the book from the library and I like it. Hoping to lose 15-20 pounds. My weight is still fluctuates from 189-193 on any given day. I need to get back to exercising. I was doing really well until I got sick. I'm going to aim for 30-40 minutes 3X per week until I'm feeling back to normal.

Thanks again for checking up on me

I started the 17 Day Diet today. I like the structure of it and the food choices are all good and healthy. I need to stay away from sugar - it's so poisonous to my system. I'm sure the next few days are going to be hard because I'll probably be detoxing. I've been eating crap for the last few weeks. I hope my body will like all the good nutrients I will be feeding it I didn't weigh this morning because I took Benadryl last night and that always holds water. My weight yesterday was 192.6 so I'll just note that as a starting point. I don't really care where I end up after the first 17 day cycle - I just hope I feel better!!!

Hi Gracie!
What is this 17 day diet? I am doing HHCG since I lost so much weight with it before. It's a good kickstart to any new WOE for me. Tell me more when you have an opportunity about the 17 day diet. i am curious about what others do as well as success stories.
